Put this in my “plan to watch”, then saw the ages & took it back out. & before the same two people commenting everywhere on this page, no, I will not actually “watch anyways/ in secret”. The original story wasn’t even all that great so I’m good without the remake. & I don’t care if it’s just acting, I had a bad experience as a teen with an adult & things like this make me very uncomfortable, whether it’s make believe or not. Just because some of you are fine with a minor & adult being romantic with each other doesn’t mean everyone is, so replying to everyone who disagrees just to argue is quite odd. If you think you’re entitled to your opinion, then why isn’t anyone else? Arguing with everyone isn’t going to change our minds on the odd casting choice.
Other than the intro, the only other AI that stood out to me was the very last seen at the beach/ocean 🤷🏻♀️
I just went through & saw people mentioning the beach scene. Is it bad I didn’t notice? Lol I don’t think I was paying as much attention, I’m gonna go back & look at it.
But I figured there was more throughout the series since I had seen multiple comments about AI before the last episode but none seemed to be specific of what or where so I was curious.
I found this series to be alright. Like it was decent but not groundbreaking to me. I love enemies to lovers tropes but I don’t usually really like romances that stem from toxic relationships. Like I get the revengeful aspect on Taeson’s side but I don’t think I’ll ever agree with the characters blaming someone for what a relative has or seemingly has done.
Also, I see a lot of people talk about AI being in this. I’m usually good at spotting it but admittedly if it’s background stuff, I will almost certainly miss it. Can anyone tell me any examples of AI in this series aside from the opening? I hate AI & I want to get better at spotting it when it’s not the main focus of a scene.
Yeah they are making him super obvious. His weird interaction with Director Tak (at first i thought he spilled…
I feel like he might know Chaeha is the son of “a killer” & is trying to gain trust & get more info, but in reality I think Haneul’s father was the actual killer. I think another strong possibility instead of trying to find out what Chaeha knew growing up about the murder from years ago is that he knows Chaeha & Taeson are investigating it all & Haneul’s dad is trying to get him to find out what they know. I have a strong feeling they’re going to show a flashback of when Chaeha ran into Taeson’s office loudly talking about the drugs & they’ll show Haneul eavesdropping.
(Edit: I’m stupid, are all episodes out now?? Lol, well I’m about to see if I was right!)
(Edit 2: I was wrong on some but right on Haneul, but I mean that was obvious. Him getting close to Chaeha wasn’t explained & there definitely wasn’t a flashback to him eavesdropping lol)
I just got caught up & I’m so annoyed because even before they found out there was a son, I knew the abortion didn’t happen & that it’s Song Haneul! I wanted to rush to the comments here & share my opinion, only to continue with the episodes & they revealed the secret alive son. Not who it is yet, but they’re making it more obvious now that it’s Song Haneul.
I realized immediately right before the “arcade date”. The instantly remembered his reaction when Tak Seongung touched his shoulder a couple episodes before & the way he started inserting himself into Lee Chaeha’s life seemed suspicious. Now it’s much more obvious with him trying to get more info on the case & disappearing after the interrogation of Oh Jahyeon.
Sure I yapped. I was being specific & including context, something you don’t know how to do. (Summed up in 1 sentence is a funny thing for you to say when you’ve been replying with more than 1 sentence yourself)
& sure, but you ever going to clarify what slurs he’s supposedly being called & where you’re seeing them said?
Context clues? Bro, you provided none in this specific comment thread, which is the one I saw first lmaoooo You said “don’t call a 15 year old slurs and wish bad upon them” not “don’t call a 15 year old slurs and wish bad upon them LIKE I’VE SEEN OTHERS DO.” Responding what you did to a specific comment without stating it was meant as a general statement insinuates you were talking to & about Lexi. Seeing as she was calling him homophobic, transphobic, ableist, & misogynistic, it’s very easy to assume you were taking those as slurs. I mean, you never provided any examples because I still have yet to see any slurs you are so wholeheartedly yelling about in your other comments.
"When you yourselves didn't even know wtf was going on in the world at that age"Back when I was a kid…
He has questionable & shitty reposts as recent as January of this year. It’s not a “Oh he was a kid & didn’t know better then” thing. He STILL thinks that way.
I still have yet to see any comment calling him slurs. Unless you’re referring to homophobic, transphobic, ableist, & misogynistic & think of them as slurs, which I’m telling you again, they are not. They’re terms for the people who use actual slurs, which he seems to support & very likely uses himself.
“But don’t call a 15 year old slurs and wish bad upon them” Where are you getting any of that from Lexi’s comment & replies? Homophobic, transphobic, ableist, & misogynistic aren’t slurs. & calling someone’s behavior as shitty isn’t wishing bad upon them.
bl actor but homophobic..? it’s weird to see people defending him by saying he was too young at the time acting…
What’s weirder is he’s been reposting questionable things as recent as January of this year. So it’s not even like it’s a “Oh, he was young but he knows better now!” He very much still has the same misogynistic & homophobic/ transphobic opinions.
For those still waiting, Perth said a while ago season 2 isn’t happening. He didn’t go into depth, but it just didn’t work out for some reason or another. He also said he wasn’t sure he’d even want to come back for it after he read more on RamKing’s storyline & saw how Ram kinda gets weird. I don’t remember all of what happens, but Ram does a huge 180 & gets very over protective to the point of controlling. Perth said he wasn’t a fan of Ram’s sudden shift of personality, didn’t care for his actions, & didn’t feel comfortable playing him in the way he is written later on.
So yeah, no season 2 unless it gets picked up someday with a whole new cast like all 3 season of the 2 Moons series.
GagaOoLala shows there’s a 10th episode airing on the 26th so episode 9 probably isn’t the last one unless…
Ah, so I just finished it & saw there’s no trailer for the next episode, I didn’t even think about that when I wrote my original response. So yeah, if there is another episode like GagaOoLala says, it might just be a special episode or something of the sort.
so episode 9 is really the last one? because it doesn't feel like the end.
GagaOoLala shows there’s a 10th episode airing on the 26th so episode 9 probably isn’t the last one unless that’s just some special episode or something.
It breaks my heart how easily Sun will give in the second someone threatens Kajorn! As much as Sun seems like a cold person (which he’s done to protect himself from all the loss & pain over the years) he cares for others so deeply. Also, I absolutely love how his emotions show when Sky resembles his brother. I really hope the show utilizes the similarities & gives them a deep brother bond. It would also be the icing on the cake if Sun becomes very protective of Sky similarly to how he is with Kajorn, but in a big brother way.
I’m usually all about romance in BLs, but man, I’m so here for the growing protective bond & deep look into how Sun truly feels about those who are important around him!
So far, Mean is a nearly nonexistent character. I didn’t even notice he was an actor in it at first, I saw Gunsmile…
Oh I know. I’ve been watching BLs for over a decade, I know all about Mean, Krist, Foei, Godt, & other’s comments & actions. Which is why I said I understand not wanting to watch. I mean, when I saw Mean & finally recognized him (since I never cared for him much anyways before his garbage comments & started to forget what he looked like) I got annoyed that he was even in this. (Guess he’s old, washed up, & in need of money lol) But since he was in it for a very short time, I decided to just suck it up & finish the episode. (Definitely not saying others have to do the same though! I thought it was a pretty funny show so I finished the episode) However, if Mean does become a bigger role or have a lot more screen time than what it seems, I too may drop.
I wanted to give it a try, I read that it's by the same directors as "Dinosaur Love" and then I read that…
So far, Mean is a nearly nonexistent character. I didn’t even notice he was an actor in it at first, I saw Gunsmile made an appearance & was sold lol But when Mean did pop up, it wasn’t for that long & I barely even noticed him then. But I completely understand that being one reason to not want to watch. I never watched Dinosaur Love, never heard of it until these comments so I can’t really have much of an opinion in that aspect.
Not gonna lie, my main reason of wanting to watch this now is Gunsmile 🙈 I doubt he’s a huge role, but he…
So I started it, I’m 30 minutes in & laughing my a-s off! Also, Gunsmile appearance within the first 10 or so minutes, just what I needed!! But this show so far is doing surprisingly really well in the comedy category. I thought people were exaggerating but it’s definitely very funny! The rapper Cutter & his mom had me in stitches! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
Not gonna lie, my main reason of wanting to watch this now is Gunsmile 🙈 I doubt he’s a huge role, but he will always be my favorite & I will cherish any small crumbs I can get! Lol
However, the reviews so far sound great so I’m going to start it probably within the next few minutes!
See, I understood some of why Ritt was upset. I feel like it was more than just being played, it was the fact that he had so much guilt while assuming he was tricking the man he loved & was so worried he was hurting him all to find out that man knew the whole time. I understand feeling like a joke in that moment. Especially when finding out your best friend knew & said nothing, that was really where I was like “Ah, okay, that’s kinda really messed up.” However, Ritt is really dragging it now & overplaying the victim card. Also, what was even the point of that Pure/Phitcha/Ritt talk?? It seemed like he was really starting to see the other point of view just to let it go in one ear & out the other immediately after. The fake kidnapping scene seemed pointless in the end too, because again, Ritt went back into his whole “woah is me, I don’t think this love is real” thought process even after seeing Itt’s true feelings.
I say this all the time for shows, I understand every story needs conflict & I understand that it’s a 10 episode show that needs to extend that conflict until the last episode so it makes for a satisfying ending. But the way it’s being executed is just the complete opposite. If you don’t plan to have Ritt accept Itt’s apology (even with him being partly to blame) then showing possible make up scenes feels fake & cheap.
Well, at least I got my boys, Pure & Phitcha, the real stars of my heart! Lol (However, I do also think making Pure be in on the whole second deception arch was a weird choice)
