I love Lee Som, but I just can't get into this drama, I don't feel any chemistry and I really can't get the whole "I dated you for a few hours only but I still love you after a decade" trope. I don't find it cute but sick. Oh well...

I don't know why, but I don't think tax evasion was her (only) idea. Let's not forget that she mingles with very powerful people in China and who knows who controls what. It's very possible that she was forced to do it, but I doubt we will ever find out.

Probably because the more you earn, the bigger your taxes to the government are. She (including her management and who knows who else), reported only 1/5 of her earnings.
