My review for the first episode...
It really isn't a review, but more like a rant.
I love that the trainees had to evaluate themselves among them based on performance, but I have to criticize most of them, since they started with letting almost everyone IN because they felt bad for eliminating, thus the really good trainees did NOT make the final cut.

They really have to realize that this show is survival show and goes by the same rules like any sport - only best out of the best get to make the cut. No looks, age, experience can make u enter, only your skills. So I hope they realized this after the first episode, because the decisions that they have made were crucial.

Also, not gonna lie, I expected better quality of trainees, but that is a personal opinion.

Well, I do not expect full NC scene, but a hint of it would be nice as that scene was kinda important climax in the manga and kicked of their further relationship later in years. Very disappointed with how they handled it....

With all respect I trust the Chinese subbers I know for talking about facts about Chinese laws and they themself are super mad at Jidan. The netizens are angry at her, which means that indeed, there is a way around the law while still getting the money. Jidan herself on her live videos said that multiple times that she will release it to other countries and not in China and blah, blah, blah. Nothing happened and she kept lying. Just look at the Advance bravely USB. That's a mockery! She said that full uncut will be on the USB and people paid for it and got nothing. So it is finally time to stop hiding behind bullshit and speak the truth. One Chinese Youtuber spoke about Untamed and mentioned the anti-LGBT on tv law, so it does exist.

Yes, u can release LGBT content in China IF u upload it on Youtube as a non-commercial? I think that's what most people doooo, but than...can they make any profit from it when Youtube is banned in China?

How does it matter that she is marked by the government when she can release the thing in another country? Country cannot stop her from that.

People here and everywhere are soooo afraid of the ending and I am confused why.
Here is my reason why I think it might have an actual happy ending!
It is NOT airing in China - at all!
Just like with Where your eyes linger, the rights to stream were bought by another country.
The reason why Chinese LGBT movies/TV series have sad endings is because of the Chinese law, which states that each content with such theme has to end sadly.
BUT since the rights were bought by another country, the TV series does not have to obey the Chinese law.
With this being said I am really furious at Jidan - author of Heroin and Advance bravely - because she promised multiple times that she will stream the content in other countries, thus going around the law perfectly, but guess what? She never did it. She disappointed so many fans, that sorry but, I do not trust her anymore.

This half-ass done series will be forever mentioned in the directors and script-writers portfolio. If they wanted to test the intern's skills u better make a small movie as MOST of the interns do. Even director of TharnType started from a mini movie, and only after countless of mini projects he was allowed to work on full series. If I was the author of the book, I would be extremely offended. I put my heart into the book, but got this kind of outcome? Hell, nah.

I see a lot of people disling the trailer, but here I am loving it?
I did not like the original version BECAUSE of the quirky and silly character Nodame was.
It was very unrealistic, so I am crossing my fingers for a normal Nodame in this adaptation.
