Ayayaye… aren’t we being a bit overly sensitive. Not every opinion that is different from yours is hate.
I love LYX and will sit through any xianxia/historical that he is in, but it’s no crime to say something could have been better.

I just hope the plot and editing will be better. Stunning visuals alone cannot make a good drama.

Yes! For me LOTP was one of his most magnetic performances to date. The drama is really underrated.

That will be a straight continuation from his flirty role in AJTL. I think he will be great with that. Also this make-up and hair-style looks very good on him, much nicer than some of the boring looks he had in the past.

I mean tarnished in the sense of being associated with a drama that has flopped. Also, I think it is difficult to give a good performance when acting off against such a weak partner.

It’s good that they plan in adequate resting periods for the actors. This shows that they care not only about production quality but about the actors as well. If they’re exhausted when doing the action scenes there is a high risk of injury…

However, so far there are no signs of this coming any time soon, but given that Tencent sometimes just drop stuff without any promotion it could still happen any time.

I liked the novel, otherwise I wouldn’t have made an effort to translate the first book, but it is quite different from the drama series. People expecting some sweet bromance will be disappointed as it is a typical crime novel. I like this genre and I liked the villain and his background story much better in the novel because it went much deeper.

If Liu Yuning has any good sense he should pull out of this one rather than being paired with an FL who cannot act. She’s producing flop after flop and none of her partners come out of it untarnished.

Is has been under “upcoming” on kissh for weeks, but sadly this isn’t very reliable. There have been rumours that this may just suddenly drop because the people behind this drama want to make the most’s current popularity and also quickly get this out before the FL is formally charged (and officially banned), but nothing is certain.
BTW, Immortality has been under “upcoming” for years on kisskh 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In any profession, when you just start your career you start in support roles, to gain experience and continue training. It is totally incomprehensible how she gets cast as lead with barely any acting skills. I’ve seen her in several dramas and there is absolutely no improvement whatsoever. I pity any actor who has the misfortune to be paired with her.

Haha, you think CGI from the early 2000s is laughable, try watching something from the 70s or 80s 😂😂😂

None of the guys were that good looking to me 😂 (CY always reminds me of a mouse) but at least the other two didn’t feel bland and boring.

No pretty idol boys… the guys in the cast can actually act which must feel strange to those just used to looking at pretty faces. 😈
