If you pause the clip, every actor’s name and role is displayed in the vertical characters to the left of the person. The translation said “Xu Youre as Lu Jinxiu” the characters used for the real name may be wrong as I searched for the actress with these characters and couldn’t find her. @kokuto in the comment above suggested another name which looks plausible. I recognised the first character as “Xu”. They probably said it’s Madam Gantang because that’s who they expected to appear. You cannot trust anything on X. 😂

I’m sure he will be there for the next occasion. Sometimes it’s better to miss out than to do things in a rush. He was in the CNY clip for Blossoms of Power and frankly, I would have preferred him to be missing. The sound and lighting feel like they’ve recorded it in someone’s basement. A very shoddy job!

He filmed until late into the night on his first days on set and after that probably rushed straight back home to be with his family.

Haha, I feel like they will be fighting over who gets to feed them 😂 Jeremy always has animal food in the car. There was a fan with a dog who kept visiting at the makeup hotel and he fed that little dog so much!It’s good if everyone on set gets along well playing with the dogs.
No, he doesn’t bring the dog (it’s a Golden Retriever) to the set. I think it stays with his parents when he is out for work. It is quite old now. However he loves all the animals on set. I’ve seen him chatting to his horse and hugging it. The cat that he had in his role as Ghost Peony in The Whispers of Fate was so comfortable with him that some people came up with the rumour that it was his own 😂 but it wasn’t.
It’s easy to slander people, but difficult for honest people to prove their innocence. Let’s just not listen…
Yeah, there is no perfect way to defend against such rumours, that’s why they are so vicious. If the artist defends himself, people will say he’s hiding something. If he doesn’t, claiming that the innocent need no defense, they will take it as proof that the rumours are true. A little bit of mud will always stick.
