On the official Weibo page the only main actors are Tan Jianci and Lu Yuxiao, the rest of the cast are supporting…
The cast was announced on the Mango Weibo page. https://m.weibo.cn/status/5259100109932101 There are the leads and four actors listed under é¢č”äø»ę¼ which translates as āleading roleā, ergo these are main roles, not supporting roles.
Tan Jianci treated the crew to roasted lamb and lamb skewers today⦠Making sure everyone is well-fed on set makes for a relaxed working atmosphere š
The subtitles will only be changed (ātranslatedā from Mango gibberish) if the drama gets picked up either…
Me too. I really donāt understand why they donāt do anything to improve. Their software for the machine translation must be very old as by now you can get a better translation on any machine translation website. They clearly have an ambition for overseas distribution of their dramas (currently the only growth area for C-dramas) so letting the audience actually understand whatās going on should be the first stepā¦

I mean...naturally that's expected bc out of Wang Hedi and Meng Ziyi the one with significantly more influence…
Thatās an explanation (even though the āsignificantly more influenceā is debatable) but I donāt think that it is right. Itās a female-centric IP and if those big male egos cannot deal with equal or second billing, then they should move on to some male-lead IPs.
Are you sure that this is the release date of the drama? The way I understood it is that they will release new…
I think they are making these announcements deliberately confusing. I got ātrickedā before on another drama, thatās why I now always double check. I saw some rumours saying that it could be released on 26th February which sounds plausible (Mango often announce dramas 1 week before the release date).
Finally, the long-awaited news has arrived!!!! š„³ š¢š¢š¢ Planting Red Beans at the Tip of Your Brows /…
Are you sure that this is the release date of the drama? The way I understood it is that they will release new material (OST, etc) on 21st, but not the drama itself.
I love Dylan and Ziyi, but from a novel-readerās perspective, Iām heavily disappointed with the casting. This…
Yes, itās yet another sad case of a novel being sacrificed to the traffic. I absolutely hate it when they re-write female-centric novels to suit the male ego of some traffic actor. All the pretense about respecting women but in fact, no respect at all! This isnāt meant as an attack on Wang Heidi, but a criticism of a wider trend in the industry. There are just too many novels that have been mangled just to suit the casting desired by the capital,
I actually can't come to terms that I will probably only see this drama in the big '27or even '28or even neverWHY…
Haha, welcome to the club. After a while you will get used to the mix of anxiety and excitement that comes with every new drama. As long as the end result is good, it is worth the wait.
There will always be other dramas airing at the same time. Each of them will find its own audience. There is no…
That just shows their ignorance as to how these ratings are made. In most cases itās the people who are willing to pay who end up with a āhighly ratedā drama. There are thousands of bots rating dramas on Douban and it is well known that the platform will delete negative ratings if the production team pays the āprotection feeā. Weibo recently closed hundreds of bot accounts and all the streaming platforms have their own system of watering the viewing figures because thatās how they sell advertising. The only thing that actually will make a drama endure through time is quality. Sadly, based on the look & sound of the New Yearās clip, Iām now afraid we wonāt be getting much of it.
Why is there no news about it untill now? Does somebody know when it gonna air?
Iām sure that somebody knows (like the people at iQiyi) but they arenāt telling us š The rumours keep adjusting the months from mid- February to now mid-March (and I can already see mid-April on the horizon).

Usually we get this level of daring hotness (by C-drama standards) only in short dramas.š

There seem to be quite a few dramas that are āinexplicably delayedā.
