Yet another agency with despicable behaviour and zero respect for the artist! I don’t like Ju Jingyi much as an actress, but NOBODY deserves to be treated this way!
Fortunately, she was clever enough to announce her decision to leave Siba publicly, so if now some negative rumours start spreading, we all know where they came from.
There are quite a few other artists who are in similar situations, forced to act in dramas they never wanted to do, coerced into staying with agencies that do a lousy job. I can only hope that this will cause enough stink for the regulators of the entertainment industry to step in. After all, China very much believes in the ‘Harmony brings Prosperity’ doctrine.
Hmh… in that case you may want to approach this one with caution. If they stay true to the novel underneath…
I know. This role will hopefully give him a lot of opportunity to show his strengths. Let’s not comment on others, lest it upsets their fans 😎 My eyes will be all on Jeremy, oblivious to the rest.
I cannot say that I like that trailer very much. It seems to follow the current trend of trying to promote dramas…
The ML isn’t blind, he is face-blind. It is a condition that is usually accompanied by social anxiety and disorientation, so not really a laughing matter. Slapstick isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I see. If it is a similar style as Love is Sweet then it will be good. I just dislike slapstick comedy. Now it just needs an airing date so that we can all check it out 😀

I don’t know the story, but based on the synopsis it doesn’t look like a comedy and there isn’t a “comedy” tag either. Based on LYX’s usual drama choices I expected something more melodramatic.
From the trailer It looks heavily comedic , hopefully they don't overdo it. I 💗 comedies, but sometimes they…
I cannot say that I like that trailer very much. It seems to follow the current trend of trying to promote dramas with silly slapsticky trailers, even if it is supposed to be a serious drama. If I didn’t have this on my watchlist already, I wouldn’t feel like watching this based on the trailer.
This drama is so popular in China right nowIt is on the list of ten most popular on going drama I like this kind…
It may not meet any high standards in terms of acting and plot logic, but it has likeable characters and is very entertaining. The currently fashionable dark female assassin trope also gets boring after a while. The FL in this drama has a nice mix of quirky/cute and intelligent woman.
I just clicked on it to watch without reading the description first… Yikes, it’s another one of those daft “I fell into a novel, but nobody knows how or why” stories. We’re let to believe the white guys are all vicious killers, but the moment their arch-enemy lies on the ground before them they all freeze like a pack of village idiots??? What a load of rubbish! Needless to say, it was dropped after 5 min.
That would be sooo nice, there is also a melon saying that Fangs of Fortune will air in July. Let’s add Lost…
Aah, that would be very unhealthy… get some sunshine and fresh air in-between watching the dramas. There will be a time later in the year when there’s nothing decent coming out, so save some of it for later.
Do what exactly? Have a birthday?I guess it’s inevitable for all of us… 😂
Yes, ageism is rampant in the industry, but I don’t think it is the key issue here. It’s not like there aren’t any 40+ actors around in China, they are just in different types of dramas (for the grown-up audience). Jeremy wanted to do different roles, detective dramas, etc. but the agency went as far as sabotaging roles for which he had already been accepted, just so that he could do more of the assembly-line stuff. It really is a miracle how he managed to keep up a smile going through all this.

Deleting the artist’s comments under one of their posts really is a whole new level of despicable.
