Ji Hyeok really going through it in ep7. A part of me wants Da Rim to feel even just a bit of the pain she's putting him through because of her lie but I also know that she's just trying to survive and provide for her mom. She also doesn't know that it's hurting him so badly but still..I just feel so bad for him especially when considering what happened with his mom
It’s literally a twelve-year misunderstanding .The FL didn’t even know her child existed until now. Everything…
I agree with everything except not confronting the ml. There's no reason at all why she shouldn't confront the ml especially when she believes he was part of the deception. She confronts his mom, a proven liar, asking about the ml's involvement and other info. How about confronting the other party involved that she's not sure about instead of making conclusions based on someone you know is deceptive and evil?
The slow burn feels too much like filler. It would have been fine if the slow burn had the ml and fl being forced to interacr somehow or the fl interacting with her son but there's barely any of that. The angst and yearning when either of those 2 things happen is great but we barely get those moments, the last 2 eps have been especially terrible in that regard.
I wonder, If Feng Rui's mother never interfered would things been a bit different? Rui was someone who is willing…
It's a bit unfair to judge her that way. Si Ting was stressed from her father being missing and I believe being forced to leave school among other things. Feng Rui had practically no life problems comparatively so ofcoz he will see the unplanned pregnancy in a more positive light. The ml's mom accompanied by the ml had also just barged in her apartment looking for her missing dad. There's a complicated family history there.
I don't think judging her from the few moments shown is fair when she was extremely vulnerable in those moments. It's even less fair to compare it to the ml when comparatively he had no problems and the woman is obviously much more affected by the pregnancy no matter how much the guy supports her.
That being said, Feng Rui didn't do anything wrong imo. He's also not naive like some viewer's claim because why would anyone believe their loving mother would ever deceive them in such an extreme way. No, we only see obvious signs because we have a "God view" of the drama and his mom isn't our mom. Rn, no one suspects their closest family member coukd be as evil as his mom, he's no different.
I hope the show allows him let out his frustrations with the fl before he finds out the whole truth. His pov is honestly heartbreaking, if I was him I'd probably hate the fl to the bone. Unfortunately, the truth will probably make his pov even more heartbreaking.
This may sound bad but I also hope the son never "chooses" Si Ting over Feng Rui for anything when he's literally only known her a few months and only had a few interactions in those months. Cdramas like to make the children side with the fl no matter how loving and caring the ml is towards them. It always feels unfair and frustrating. I dropped the drama "unforgettable love" for this reason and it would be much worse here considering the ml and his son seem close.
More secrets will be revealed and there is absolutely no way she will date Yuan... bcoz in all the anger and hate...…
Thanks. She's honestly worse than the ml's mom. Atleast the ml's mom is just evil for all to see while that snake pretends to be her friend.
Disappointed though, that the fl's dad seems to not have been the one who killed ml's uncle. When ml and fl's familes dislike each other in these dramas, they always make the ml's side evil while fl's family is purely good. Fl's dad killing the uncle for the assault wouldn't have even made him bad/evil just grey, but it's always a misunderstanding. Fls' beloved families can do no wrong.
1 eps is fine with me. I need to catch up on other dramas.
Moonlit order was pretty good. Started it with no expectations after the hole left behind by fated hearts and love in the clouds, and I really liked it for what it is. The earlier episodes were great
On that note, I'm a bit disappointed with their interactions, or lack of interactions after she found out it's…
Unfortunately, there's barely any. None with just the 2 of them. I was skipping through most of these 2 episodes to the point that I don't even know whether the fl and her friend are now dating or not.
If either leads learn about what actually happened from someone else I'll instantly drop this. They seem to be…
On that note, I'm a bit disappointed with their interactions, or lack of interactions after she found out it's her son. I was looking forward to seeing how they interact with both misunderstanding each other. Earlier episodes had great tension because he thinks she left and also didn't care about their child when she came back. I expected more tension once she started believing he deceived her but nothing changed. She still treats him the same and is just as saddened about his marriage as before. Rn, she should hate him but nothing. All that changed is that the little interactions they had in the past episodes have almost become non-existent in the last 4+ episodes. Now they even introduced another couple to eat up the screen time...
If either leads learn about what actually happened from someone else I'll instantly drop this. They seem to be setting up the 2ml to be the one who confronts the ml about "stealing" the child. Can't make me watch all these episodes with the 2 leads barely interacting only for the resolution to come because of a 3rd party.
my sunshine was so painful to watch for me personally. the FL was so broken and depressed all the time. the vibes…
The first half was definitely painful. I couldn't even get mad at her for not just saying the truth because of how low her confidence was especially in contrast to the flashbacks where she was the direct opposite. I just loved watching her gradually start to become happy again. Everytime she smiled it felt very rewarding. Seeing her no longer constantly looking down felt amazing. I also liked the ml and his angst and also his demeanor when it came to dealing with the sml/antagonist.
The only other recent somewhat dark/somber drama I watched was "Light beyond the reed" which I loved but it was a difficult watch because of the topic. Only complaint is that it felt a bit rushed at the end
and same as Beacuse of Love. But it was FL who hid the child and grandfather was the villain. it was also Wallace…
Around what point does he find out the truth or atleast "reconcile" with the fl even under the misunderstanding. In my unshine it was around the midpoint which I'm fine with but if it's at the end I probably won't like it.

I will check it out but the "melodrama" tag scares me lol. I prefer more "fluffy" dramas and only check out darker dramas from time to time. Too stressful..
This has the same feels as "my sunshine" that also stars Wallace Chung. Similar theme of lovers seperated by a "misunderstanding" and a lot of flashbacks to their younger days acted by different actors.
I hope I'll like this as much as I like my sunshine. So far so good, I just feel bad for "Ms Wen" because it's almost inevitable that she will get her heart broken.
So, at the end of ep. 6 / beginning of ep. 7 the FL asks, "Is there something (that) you haven't told me?"…
She's not 100% certain it's her child yet. She took his hair to run a dna test so she will probably enquire/act once she's certain and has evidence. Admittedly, apart from the initial reaction, she seems very nonchalant about the whole situation. Currently she should also be suspecting the ml is in on the deception so she shouldn't be having all those yearning moments, she should hate him until it's cleared that they were both lied to. Kinda parallel to how the ml gave up on her when she was indifferent to their son.
What the mother did is not “misunderstanding,” it is straight up stealing a child from the real mother. There…
Pretty sure it's only the MIL who knows about the lie, maybe the uncle as well. Everyone else believes the FL left to pursue her career thanks to the letter. There's also some other stuff with the FL's father that hasn't been revealed yet
I just need one thing properly from this drama. Ji Hyeok should be angry with Darim for at least 1 ep whenever…
You know they won't do that. I'd also like that but it will either be instantly resolved or Ji Hyeok will somehow end up chasing after her and apologizing for rightfully getting angry. That's just kdramas. He probably should still be angry at her because in his mind she played him like a fiddle, I expect the same when he finds out
Hey guys, I’m just curious — correct me if I’m wrong. He loves her more than anything and still chose to…
Although it would make him "too perfect", I wish he had backed off once she said she's dating the lawyer. Don't leave but don't show his jealousy the way he does now by being intrusive and don't cross boundaries. Just be her friend. That would have been far more touching than this current scenario. It would actually show that he's genuine in wanting her trauma to heal instead of just wanting to date her. That's just me though.
There never should have been a 3rd party in the 1st place. There is a second couple directly linked fo the 2 leads, fill up the extra screen time with those 2 instead of forcing a love triangle.
