IJBOL Nan Heng waiting to be assassinated like a good duckling just for his “so-called assassins” to be running late AND failed the mission before they even started 😭omg, he is even helping them get this right. I wonder what it’s like being a schemer all your life just to witness people can’t even do their job right?
Imagine being an American show only watcher where a show gets an episode once a week and actually be ok with it…
American shows with their multiple shows that airs within 5-6 years. Trying get 3 seasons of 8 episodes while we here getting 40 in like 2-3 weeks. Worse, the anime shows where you only get 1 episode per week and it’s only 20 minutes. Granted though, animation take much more effort but it’s genuinely tough. That’s why I’m surprised here and I feel like we should appreciate the people working behind the scenes to make sure you get everything at once or in two seasons.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been more dedicated to watching cdramas this year. I’ve seen more this year than what I’ve watched the past multiple years but they were mostly older dramas. So coming the past few weeks, I’m not used to the two episodes per day set up LMAO when the fans in Feud were complaining they were only getting one episode per day instead of two,I was shocked 😂 like that’s something to complain about? I was here feeling pampered AND spoiled.
I’m used too kdramas, where it’s like two episodes per week which is why I rarely watch when they are airing because it’s takes too much time for the full show to end and I’m a marathoner. I also remember cdrama used to be like 4-5 episodes per week so this upgrade is surprising me. Definitely more appreciative of it. It doesn’t pause or ruin the enjoyment. You get to watch enough while still keeping the pace. Like a long pause between the episodes definitely ruins my enjoyment too that’s why I never watch kdramas from the start.
Just need to say that during the first episode, they requested the script writers to revise the script and one of the criticism was "How will the audience fall for the male lead" if he is written like the original script? So if you are confused we are watching the revised script with a touch of the characters acting out of the script.
So the male lead gained consciousness and started to notice he is being forced to move a certain way. This is going to get interesting because I have a feeling every "iconic" scene mentioned in the script in episode 1, is probably what will force both of them to move in that direction and they will have to fight the script to not end up that way.
Okay finally finished the first episode. I was wondering why there aren't much time loop dramas. I only remember one Korean drama that had this plot and one anime Re:Zero. But it's good to see one for this one. I'm hoping it will stay for a little longer and no disappear just because she married the guy the script wanted her too.
Currently 6:40 minutes into the first episode and WTF IS THIS???? OMG??? I'm laughing???? Wtf? The tripleception stab???? Like what in the logic? And the background music wasn't helping. I thought it was a serious moment but suddenly he stab her and he stab him and they flying out of nowhere and circling around like a tornado. Omg. What did I just witness.
I’ve finally finished this drama and they really made him work during his wedding day? The romance is kinda weak in here. I also was hoping she would stop calling him “third brother” at some point but she never let it rest lol even after she had a child, she is like “third brother” like gurl stoooooop. I think what gets me is that he asks her to change the way she calls him because they married but she goes back to it.
I didn’t know it’s harem but know that I know it is, I’m INVESTED. This should have many complexities, politics and wives drama. Gonna start this once 10 episodes are out so I have good understanding of the whole plotline.
I just want to say that Chung Gu isn't using his disability to manipulate others and never once used his own disability…
Agree. It also was done in a way that wasn't offensive by having the junior lawyer also have a hearing disability showing you the contrast between them morally.
I love how this drama also deals with disability issues. The stigma and the discrimination. But I admit there…
I just want to say that Chung Gu isn't using his disability to manipulate others and never once used his own disability to win his case. He uses people ignorance of the law to win and their weaknesses to turn their case as an advantage for him.
Watched this for Wan Yi because he is the only one I care about and I was surprised to read the comments today and see people shipped the FL with Lu because he was a little bit toxic. But you know what? I kinda see it. I do think Lou is a great character but I feel like there is a huge emotional disconnect with him and us as an audience with the way the show developed him. They don't show you his suffering enough and there is not enough scenes of him actually being upset about his own mistreatment or how he wishes to be viewed as family. Wan Yi, my love, of course tries to show it with his body language but it wasn't enough. There is not enough dialogue and depth, everything is very minimum emotionally. I want to see him connect with his family, for them to appreciate him more AND acknowledge how they mistreated him but it all gets brushed easily. So I get why people aren't as into him. Wan Yi, as an actor, was much better in Are You The One & Lost You Forever.
And LMAO Wan Yi really does play controversial roles. Please free him from this fake siblinghood.
The mother know how to love Mi-rae but doesn't know how to love Mi-Ji wow ...
There was one scene that showed she doesn't know how to love both girls and it's when Mirae suggested she will pay bills as "Miji" but her mom was like, no, keep that money and save it for yourself because she was worried about Miji not having enough money as the "unsuccessfuly sibling who sacrifice herself and was unfortunate" even though it's not explicit said. Mirae, of course, notice the difference in attitude and mentioned why was it okay to use "Mirae's" money? While Miji gets to free load, basically. The mom dismiss it but it shows that everyone takes her for guaranteed. She is "smarter" (she never stopped studying AT ALL and was pushing herself HARD to meet the expectations) and she got a "good" job so everyone assume she is successful and living a good life when she is getting bullied and can't even keep the money to herself because she is supporting the family.
Writers really want to squeeze every last teardrop we have instock in our eyeballs because they way the ensured WE NEED TO CRY for the last two episodes was insane. But I see the vision in where Hosu's mom needs to be in his life and how he needs to stop seeing himself as a burden and accepts her as his mom.
She just suddenly noticed the difference between Mirae and Miji when she interacted with them both long enough to see the difference. That’s why she went to confront her mom and got triggered that everyone was taking her as a fool, although she was more triggered by the fact she herself hated this she couldn’t tell them apart and felt ashamed by it.
Man, I loved Chung Gu and even more so as an active antagonist in the story while Hosu was the active hero/protagonist. And they fact they are both disabled make the interactions and dynamic so good to watch. This was really good representation. I'm curious to see how Hosu is going to tackle his own disability from ep 11-12 and how it will affect his career and life.

Lol trying to kill her is becoming a different type of self harm
