As you guys know, my sister doesn't watch cdrama , this is like her third so she is not familiar with the game especially with cdrama from pre-2023 but she suddenly asked me at ep 29, "How much blood does he have?" I laughed so hard because she finally noticed. She was saying, "With the amount of blood he is vomiting, he can start a blood donation center. He can save the world."

It sounds like she is LMAO I was gonna say no because I was here first, I was here when book fans were so annoyed that everyone was rooting for TTJ and I defended him, even have multiple comments in here and in comment of the drama comment section too back when it was airing. But sis started saying things like, she wanna change her profile picture, she wants him as her wallpaper, we hitting new level of obsession that I can't compete on LOL

I've been trying to get my sister into Chinese drama and it was a tough battle. I recommended her LBTFAD because it was friendly for newcomers and she did watch it till the halfway point but she wasn't obsessed. It's been a couple months since then and I tried to entice her with Lost You Forever because I was watching it and knew Jian Ci role there was going to nail it and it did. Toxic Sliver haired men? Approved! Anyway, my next suggestion is Till The End of the Moon because Luo Yun Xi was too phenomenal here and it's been years since I've seen this show (I was here when it was airing episode by epsiode) . It was tough getting her on this because she HATES fantasy. She did NOT want to watch it. She doesn't like the cgi, flying, which is why she wasn't a big fan of LBTFAD. Like the first half an hour, she was bored with this show, I'm like in the background trying to convince her to please give this show a chance. The end of the first episode intrigued her but she wasn't convinced. Tell me why this traitor watched it behind my back and suddenly she 8 episodes ahead and she was like, "Oh my god... I'm crying. Why is it sooooo sad. he is suffering a lot..." Yea, that's my man Tantai Jin. Now she finished the Dream arc and she is all like, "Oh my god, my heart is beating fast." She fell in love with Luo Yun Xi guys LMAO

She ruined my rewatch chance but I knew Tantai Jin was going to get her. I was counting on him. There is no way you can watch this show and not root for him. Funny though because she previously didn't think Luo Yun Xi was handsome when I showed her his edit but now he is the love of her life. Irony. Just in time to get obsessed with him just before his new drama to drop so she can watch that with me. My evil plans finally working.

This is a fictional show and characters live for more than thousand years. Nothing about it makes sense conceptually. And this is not Chinese empire rule, this is every country rule. An ill king leads to the downfall of any country which is why they establish the Crown Prince early on so if anything happened to the king, he inherits. I understand monarchy because I live in one. I just think it would be much more entertaining, in fictional story, to have an prince like that while he hides how his sanity is degenerating.

My introduction to Wan Yi was through Si jin. There was nothing extraordinary about that show but while I was watching, I figured the actors were improvising the romantic scenes. It was just a guess in my head because some of the romance wasn't typical like in other dramas. It could have been part of the script but it didn't feel typical. A month later I wanted to start LYF for Yang Zi and people were encouraging me to start it and noticed all the actors that I knew from 2025 were there as leads except one. And boy.... was I impressed by Wan Yi acting skills there. He made a character I usually would dislike as my favorite. I feel like he played the biggest role on why I ride and die his character so much while he was everyone's least favorite. Someone even on my tiktok edit informed me, his role here was even better.... I didn't want to start it because I was worried it might be a typecast (he looks too similar, the role might be the same too... another victim of casting directors who don't let actors branch out from that one bloody role, you know?) but I decide to just go for it so here I am and two episodes in and I'm already impressed once again. The voice crack, the tone manipulation and as usual his expressions. I can tell his really talented. I already feel refreshed by the acting. Like finally an actor who plays around with his voice. Do it more.

I also like the female lead acting, she plays the innocent, kind but secretly smart girl. I'm looking forward to see what she will deliver.

Finished this show. Episode 31 was kinda off healing for me when he talked about how the camera distorts your face and how it's okay to make to use make up to either feel confident, to please yourself or to look attractive for someone you like... Like no man will ever say that, let's be real LMAO but the message was very healing.

A little bit of a backstory about me, I'm Su Cheng Cheng here and I also have a sister who fits the beauty standards of where we are from. She was always chased around by men (currently she gained too much weight from stress so less men are chasing her but she still pulls). I was like her bodyguard. Men are being pest to her? Send me in!

Either way, I've come in terms with the fact I'm the ugly duckling and I was okay with it because I'm a bit too rational LMAO Unwanted attention from men is still UNWANTED attention from men, do you get me? Like I don't care if I don't get attention from a guy I never cared about? Teenager me was such a slay if you ask me LOOOOL But I had self image issue. I'm okay with my face when I look at the mirror but when I took a picture, I always feel ugly. It looks so bad that I stopped taking pictures. I may take a selfie of myself maybe once a year, during special occasions. That's it.

Hearing him say that kinda made me feel better. It's okay to use make up to feel confident, camera distorts the way I look... I should do what I feel like it and it would still be authentic, a part of me.

Show had a overall, good message and fun storytelling to boost.

That scene was so brief but I feel like we missed a few another episode because she originally was supposed to meet his mother too but the show wanted to wrap things up so I can't blame them.

It's like, "Oh my god, this is so funny." Tang Qi actually grieving. "Oh shit... This is not actually funny.... this is fucked up." Then again, "LMAO they killing the 2nd persona by saying she healing." Tang Qi goes colorblind. " Wtf.... I actually feel so sad. Why are y'all doing this to him?"

Tang Qi is fine but he will never be XL reincarnation for me. He doesn't have a lick of his personality even in modern time standard. Feng Long definitely studied women for this lmao but this actor hasn't gotten the opportunity to truly shine.

The amount of LYF reference started to make me curious if they are doing it because the actor is in it or because the writer is the same?

I assumed otherwise because she saying she didn't know there were military intel inside and he still doubted her and almost choked her but I guess he thought she was manipulative and was trying to ward off suspicion off her. Thank you for your clarification.

Need someone to confirm this because it was not explicitly said but the scene when she opens the box for him... he didn't know what's inside the box either, right? I'm assuming he doesn't because he never opened the box and it seemed too complicated for someone like him who lives life so solider-like, without doing much calculation or academic knowledge. If I'm way off, let me know.

Oh my god... I can't even tell if this is a horror story or a rom-com. At one point, I'm laughing because of how they have literally one plan/solution for everything but another hand, they actually traumatizing my man. This is how rom-com shows should be from now on.

I figured they removed a lot of his scenes but they removed so much... What were they thinking? I guess they really wanted Tushan Jing to be final option so they removed all these scenes. It's as if she never loved Xiang Liu because she immediately married Jing.

Oh my god... So far this show a gem. I love the female lead, she is my favourite. She is a sacrificial bride but is quite manipulative with a heart of gold. I felt for her when she tried so hard to gain his trust early on at the cost of herself.

The male lead is also very charming. He feels like a man. I look at him and I think, yea, he is manly. Was raised as a soldier his whole life and never had the privilege or opportunity to understand women. He is trying to adjust to that life in which he understand that she is not another soldier of his. She is a woman who's dress keeps her steps short, who needs to be delicate and elegant, who can't gung-ho everything or out of any scenario.

His little group are also funny. When they thought that when a man or woman get close it means she either wants his salary or is spying to get military information... *Raise a red referee card.* Time out.

But in a way, it also the sad reality that young men may only know the life of war and training. They struggle to perceive a life outside of that until they meet the girl that opens up their heart.

I genuinely need a week because it's been 3-4 days and I finally decided to give my final thoughts on how disappointed I was. I'm not going to re-watch it either.
