Gonna watch this for Yang Zi. I recently just watched 3 episodes of Flourished Peony and her acting there was very meh. Made me question her skills because in Ashes of Love, while it was good, she was meant to act like she had no emotions so it was a given that the acting was bland. It fits the role of her character, you know? I decided to stop watching Flourished Peony. Somehow, I stumbled upon Immortal Samsara because I wanted to watch ANY show with two sisters like Starry Love and found Yang Zi there again. However, I loved her there. I loved the character, her personality, the acting was refreshing so now I'm confused again LMAO
I'm really liking actor LXY. I'm thinking of giving another drama his a try, just wanna know which one got the great plot and characterization. I was thinking of Kill Me Love Me. It had some hype around it last year but I didn't give it a try because I didn't care about either main actors.
Have you ever read or seen anything related to the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong. Slaves being…
Sure, even slaves can be villainous. It still doesn't change the fact that they created the slave so the female character can look great despite having zero time no personality. The slave who's mere purpose is to make a rich, noble woman look good
I had a feeling this is how it would end, and honestly, it makes sense. But somehow, I lost interest during the…
I like how Kdrama writers want to make a realistic and grounded ending when NOTHING about the show was realistic from start to finish with the billion targeted deaths. Kills me every time when they do it. It makes more sense for the audience to expect a dramatic and cinematic ending for a show that was displaying that.
There won't probably be a second season. But there are threads starting that won't be tied off neatly because…
His brother dying (maybe coma but the way the mom is hospitalized and not by his side make it seem like he died) is a kinda a miserable way to go down. They couldn't stand having a moment of peace for the last time lmfao
He didn't kill himself. He left Daesan, which was his life long goal. As it harmed him both physically and mentally.
I really like how you connected the scenes. It's does make sense when you put it together like this. I connected it differently as him not killing Jang Seon for this reason, because it's not him, and because the scene were he was crying in emptiness while being a president. His dreams and family been crushed and he is just a shell of his former self. He kissed Eunnam one last time as farewell and then possibly chose to kill himself that's why he called it a "Break that will take much longer than last time.". At least that's how I connected it and interpreted that scene. Your interpretation though makes it a much more happier ending for Dongju.
I wonder how many people caught on to the fact if there is no season 2, it means Dongju killed himself at the end. That's why they kept it an open interpretation. If he read Taehyun's message, he will live for him.
I’ll only watch seson 2 if Donju doesn’t end up with her. I want him with hacker girl or no one.
I can tell you from now he definitely have no chance with hacker girl. She competent but he knew her much longer and never fell for her. So I would say no one is the best shot. If we need forced romance, a new girl should come in but that's not happening ever.
Taehyun, our little innocent cinnamonroll, was the only who had no greed in the show. Very ironic. His mom who feared Dongju's rise to power and how he would swallow up her son.... In the end, he didn't swallow your son, he saved him. Your greed and everyone else greed, swallowed him. All the hatred for Dongju is misplaced.
The execution of this drama is getting me annoyed. I liked and hated the ending. I liked what he did to Jangseon but I hate the fact they are eluding to season 2. Dongju as the episode went by really buried his own heart. He feels empty, like a shell of his former self. He needs to be away from this company and family yet they dragging him back in.
As for Eunnam, fuck the writers for this. Her writing have been nothing but shitty. Trying to give her some sort of redemption by giving her a ring, and possibility rekindle their love story maybe in season 2 (which is funny because it's either they will get back together or she will be targeted/killed because she have the vault code to develop the male character) Either way, none of the "writing" for her is going to save her character. She is not fit for Dongju anymore. The moment she believed Dongju will kill is the moment she no longer understood Dongju. Let this romance GO! Everything about her writing was just misogyny because the writer reduced her character so much, it's not entertaining.
I'm currently watching this slowly and I'm on ep 7, I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it.
Although I have to say, so far, I know the male lead is going to get his revenge but I find it fascinating that he is calm and very soft spoken but you know, deep down, he is ANGRY. The actor did an amazing job. I can feel how he is boiling inside in rage but visually, he is smiling slightly, speaking appropriately, he is accepting all of the crap and bullshit they are throwing at him, it seems normal. Great acting skills.
She seemed like such a nice person when she ran the pastry shop!! Did the lure of money change her that much?…
Not sure if you seen the latest episode (13-14) but there was a scene where she wanted him completely excluded from the shares of Daesan Energy It was hinting she is seeing him as a threat and she was using Ildo's shitty wife to achieve that.
While we wait for the episode, I need to complain about that bitch ass chairman and his wife. Like after everything Dongju did for you, after he went UP AND ABOVE to ensure your son gets to be part of the succession plan... And basically used his wits and schemed to get everyone to SUBMIT, they just decided to get rid of him too?
I guess this what happens when you are too smart, resourceful, and can get anyone to bend their knees when they test you, even your own allies fear you. They worry that if you wished, you can will it. They are afraid that he would want the position and they know he CAN get it. They stop seeing him as a person and only see him as a reflection of their greed. Dongju really never misses with his threats. He brought that son out and showed them how much CONTROL he had on him.
Please bury that romance to depth of that heart as promised in the title because why was the writer writing like a mangaka? Out of nowhere they pulled up that worst plot twist that I knew was not true. I rolled my eyes so bad like nobody was shocked. We already hated the romance but the author wanted us to be disgusted too? Put that pen down and focus on the developing the side characters instead.
chairman cha has 2 daughters, one of them married to dr kang and the other, deokhui married to ildo, with whom…
He did not... Yet(?) I'm hoping they never do and based on the way the male lead is no longer fighting so strongly to have her love and care anymore, I'm hoping that's what it is leading up too but you never know.
