I really like you analysis, it's really well out together and hit the nail in the head. She is a danger for herself but she was also clear what she wanted; she wanted her father gone because she knew he will get away easy. She is an extremely bitter and vengeful person. But it also comes from the fact that she became an adult yet she still doesn't get the option to live a normal life. That's why she told him she doesn't want him to be the one to do it because she knows him well and she doesn't want to be the person to hurt him.

I didn't mention it in my original post but the family dymanic actually broke me. I applauded Udol when he nailed it in the head by essentially saying the dad is a loser at work so he can only feel manly by asserting his authority at home. I loved this kid so bad and I was crying because none of the children can do much about it. I'm glad they all gained the courage to stop that stupid dad. I wanted an apology from him.

I really enjoyed the fact that both brothers, who are considered the prize of the family, were on standby, watching their sister gain courage to have a real conversation JUST to get destroyed by her mother and later, by the father while all they can do is watch disappointedly by what's happening because they too need to gain courage to do something about it (which they did at the end)
It really shows that even though they don't interact with each other, they love each other. They are just stuck being victims of the family power dynamics.

I really enjoyed the dynamic of the overconfident male lead who never doubted himself while the female lead overthinks and gets swallowed by inferiority complexity. Even though the male lead annoyed me at first, I genuinely started to love him by the midway point and envied him. It's was a really enjoyable show. Unfortunately, I wasn't digging the side couples. Some of them didn't have a good resolution.

How are you using the actress interpretation while ALSO acknowledging that the actress is having a hard time actually expressing the character feelings? The viewers mistake here is relying on the visual aspect. I'm not looking at the facial expressions here. I'm looking at the way the writing was set up. You need to read the dialogue and know why it's being said and what's the current context. And also, I don't need to read the interviews nor will I do because I can already tell the actress is struggling to even understand how to show what the character is feeling (because victims of abuse and trauma responses is hard to interpret because most people here never had a mother or father like that!) She is doing her best though.

I'm going to applaud you for understanding Junseo. Because you understood his writing. I just find it interesting how you are unable to see why she gets annoyed with him. And why they are NOT a good fit together. Also he is not as innocent as everyone makes him out to be because he have the choice to simply just walk away. He chooses not too.

Unfortunately, they want her to be a "perfect" victim. A victim who won't do anything or get people involved in her mess but handle it the proper "legal" way, to win "righteously".
They thought victims should be like Jae O, taking the worst end of the stick. In order for him to pay the price of being a "good victim" he should stay in jail for 5 years for it. They stop seeing how the system is failing the children. No child should enter adulthood STILL being abused.

I'm sure people can understand what happened despite trying to avoiding the explicit implications but they can also read the first line.

I wanted to watch this show because I've seen tiktok comments saying she was but now that I watched it, I'm shocked that people see her as evil. They don't have to like her actions but she always attack those who attack her first. From the bully girl, the teacher (who was verbally bullying her), her father, Lena (who wanted to ruin her career), I'm sure the CEO is targeting her now too. She is playing dirty games the same way they play dirty. She is good and smart at ruining people lives back She is truly a good victim who wants to live a normal life but it's impossible because many people want to bring her down. Unfortunately, I don't think she will be able to love and have a normal relationship with anyone.

Now for the Choi Jeong Ho, I would say he is the only one who is actually a victim. Although I didn't like the fact when he was investigated, he didn't mind that she would take the fall even though he DIDN'T know the truth. He let his agency pin the crime back to her. However, I'll acknowledge he is a victim but so is she. This scene, for me, is proof of how the justice system failed her and him. If Jeongho didn't attack him back, her father was going to kill her in his rage fit. The dad have a whole crime list from abuse, gambling, wanting to sell her as a prostitute (which is illegal), wanting to sell videos of her when she was a kid (there might not be evidence for this one because she saved herself), the fucking hidden camera.... honestly, it genuinely annoys that people are calling her "pure evil" like that's not someone who is evil. That's someone who is failed by the system over and over again. I need you to understand that what she did IS a desperate measure to free herself from ongoing abuse and not an action of evil person who is doing this for shit and giggles, I fear some of you guys might be illiterates.

Currently on ep 8 (don't read if you didn't watch these episodes)

I've started this show on Thursday because I've been hearing that the female lead was just pure evil and that she uses men left, right center. Now that I've watched it...some of y'all genuinely believe this is evil??? There was a lot of context clues in the show.

Before I speak about the murder case, I want to talk about In Gang. I never once believed she would EVER harm grandma. There were many signs that she started to see grandma as a parent figure and grandma was super kind to her. That's why Jin Ah allowed her in her house, a place that is supposed to be private. She told her she can come in anytime. You can tell she didn't expect that grandma would treat her like she is someone precious, that she deserved love. That grandma saw her as KIND. And she likes grandma. If you pay attention, it's OBVIOUS she likes grandma.

Most of the people she is surrounded by always try to bring her down or sees her a bad person. Jun Seo is a good example here. He thought she killed grandma because he sees her as someone who is capable of doing that even unprovoked. She doesn't like that! So she provokes him based on his awful assumptions of her.

Also, she likes In Gang. Yes, she used him because she wanted to put herself in a good position so others can't bring her down. But if you noticed, she said she will break up with him in a year but DIDN'T. What does that tell you? I know she doesn't love him, she is not there but I also know she would have married him if her life was more stable with less deranged and insane people trying to actively ruin it. At the end, she broke up with him. She was super harsh ON PURPOSE. Unfortunately, that was his last straw and I'm saddened by the outcome. Her problem is that she close her emotions and her coping mechanisms kicks in of "I don't care that this happened! That's just fate!" She does care but she knows she can't do anything about it so solves her emotions the way she knows.

I was continuing this for Luo Yun Xi. I felt like the mystery was a little bit predictable, and it had cool aura moments but I wasn't a big fan of the show. I was watching it out of obligation and how they going to fill out 40 episodes? But I waited so long to see Yun Xi so I kept going..However, the last 10 episode have been very enjoyable, the story is starting to tie in together better, characters dynamics between them actually grew on me and the writing just felt better. Even the FL, who I honestly, dgaf about, I'm like okay? I'm kinda invested in her now. Shout out to Alen Feng. I like him a lot in here.

Omg you are so polite and sweet 🥹 I've never seen a drama with TSY but her drama list was full so I'm sure she is seasoned. Can't wait to see her and this drama. And I hope the drama exceeds my expectations.

Gotta give him my respect then because that's clearly someone who is passionate about what he is doing. Directing AND writing? Tough. Curious to see how his views will shape the story.

Someone who never done xianxia is about to direct one... Ooof, usually this is a little bit risky because it's comes with a lot of firsts but his previous work seemed to have pushed him to stardom so I'm hoping talent prevails.

Loved Love in the clouds and I'll be TUNING IN for this one. I'm going to let the obsession continue. I hope it's a good drama, I doubt it will be better than LITC because the bar a little high with that one and usually, the writing quality of a LOT of shows drop so sometimes it feels like I need to watch 10 shows to find one I really like but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Please be a great script. I don't think I need to worry about the chemistry because the two shows I've seen Neo in, he been delivering chemistry.

I love the fantasy especially his recent one, love in the clouds. I enjoy them more because the storyline are more unique and the romance can go up a notch when there is so much sacrifice or there are a element that makes you realize they truly love each other no matter what
