And I'm sure the prince dumbass family will throw him away all to gain some right to rule. You know, props to the first prince. I genuinely like him a lot in this drama. Anyway, I love how our girl kinda prove she is the strongest. I find it funny that he just thinks it's normal she knows how to do a lot of things with her little spiritual power. Even before, she was guiding him into make her artifact and was naming them. I honestly like her writing so far because she doesn't feel helpless. She had few other instances in which she was saving herself without any help. Honestly, she is my favourite female character of this year.

Lol like I actually took a two days break during the first 3 episodes. I wasn't invested but I actually like the two actors from their previous work and now, it have the potential to being one of my top 3 favourite dramas of this year. I just hope it doesn't crash down in the last episode and continue to be super good.
At first I was kinda like, it's a little bit cringe, it's giving wattpad but let me continue and by ep 6, I started to love their dynamic. They are like a perfect match for each other. This episode however was PEAK. He was so betrayed by her but he PROVED he LOVES her. He passed those trials and even forcibly put her name on that stone and he, once again, proved it was true love. I was screaming internally.
I just know Jingshi is pure evil from the flashback. At first I was like, a romance between the princess and the enemy prince? Bring it on. But then his sister said, "I can change him." When she tried for convince Suige. That's when I knew it was over. This is a line you reserve for reddest of red flags. You just know nothing is going to move this guy's heart. You truly need to be deep in the delulu land to say this. Sis is going to suffer a lot and get manipulated.
Such a bummer. I was looking forward to his role because he looks like a elf prince. It felt like he could have been in the lord of the rings movies. BUT the conversation between him and the king... I think I'm going to like his regardless. He feels ruthless and make political decisions.
For such a fun and pretty well executed, consistency and overall, really great drama, it had such a mess and chaotic schedule. Like what do you mean you had to hire the lead actor last minute? Also even the antagonist envoy, everyone was making fun of his Chinese but he literally only had two weeks to prepare himself before he had to join with nothing but Chinese lines. It feels like they didn't expect this drama to blow up so they did lots of last minute decision
I only seen one episode so far. They totally butchered the religious theme as expected by mix and matching things that don't belong together while also, keeping part of the religious text somewhat accurate lol I'll continue to see if it gets more annoying or not.

It does. Sometimes timing is important too. Like if we are in a snoozefest, a fun, light hearted, not so heavy, but still have a good plot is what people need. Worked with Lovely Runner now it's working with this too. I haven't been impressed at all by kdramas that came out this year then Head Over Heels came and it was very fun (despite the trash ending) and the actor blew up. Now this also is a very good show to watch and it's blew up too.
The LCZ and QS fight was pretty cool. It felt like a comic book fight came to alive. So far, it's the best fight. I need Chenyi to be a villain love interest sometime in his career because I know he will do so well in the cold, evil BUT have a soft heart for his girl, type of character.
