Its like timeloop was changed and some happenings are deleted. But its not shown well."

At this point, I think people didn't really watch the drama 😭.

questionable ending that most likely sad, which diverge from the novel a bit cause of Zhuge Yue action

In a review of the drama, someone wrote

"Where should I start with this? I did not buy the romance at all in the first arc and I really dislike Ju Jing Yi’s dubbed voice LOL."

Not to be a shameless plug , but the ending in the Drama diverge from the novel greatly and it does come down to the decision that Zhuge Yue made in the drama vs the novel.

since it an adaptation so it wont be 1 to 1, which I understand. But I strongly believe what we know about Zhuge Yue in the drama he would have made the decision he made in the novel ! and not end up like another Yan Xun, who is bitter and regrets his decision at the end of the drama.

If you are curious about what happened when he made a different decision, and one that I think aligns with his character arc more from the start til the end.

That one thing the drama got right, They add so much more to Chun'er ! she almost an after thoughts in the novel... she just the catalyst for event happening and we were just told that she was.

Yeah the choice limited what they could have done, cause within the event of the novel she is in her 20s+ as a lot of the event unfold in rebirth.

She is still a strong female general, but her character evolves much more than just being a strong female general. Which they did not touch on at all, due to the above-mentioned reason.

Yeah, killing of Cheng was a mistake that PA made... He never die in the novel. They do need him in Rebirth though so... there wasnt much they could have done 🤣... But lowkey I wish they kill him off in the novel

For those who watched PA and Rebirth and haven’t read the novel, or even those who did but have forgotten it, I spent a lot of time putting this together because I truly believe the message in the novel's final part was great. It feels like a full-circle moment from the very beginning.

It contains MANY details and events from the novel, but read it and see how the story ended in the novel. I also point out many connections that Rebirth and its ending try to draw from the last 80+ chapters of the novel. That I pulled directly from the novel, I didn't include everything, just in case some people still want to read it.

I ! just wait I actually read all 279 chapter of the novel and will do a write up ! I think the part of the novel that rebirth cover have a wonderful amazing message.

The ending and some of the event that happen and how certain thing was portray, irk me in the drama.

So I want to share what happened and give context! cause I really like the novel. And I know some people who watch Rebirth wont actually read the novel so that why I want to do it

Although they never "done it," it was largely cause Yan Xun wanted to wait for marriage.

Also, they were together for a long time, but in the novel, she was 8 when they met, 15 when they escaped together, and only around 16-17 by the time this scene took place. She even ask Yan Xun how old is this "Jing Yue’er"

She did indeed love him, as she said multiple times. But she never truly understood him til the end of the novel. when she had a family, she couldnt fathom what it would be like to lose them

Also, because of their relationship, she knew to communicate better with Zhuge Yue. As she attribute this was maybe a reason why thing ended the way it did with Yan Xun

Guys, if you are planning on watching Rebirth, just read the novel instead. Or Do both,

I highly prefer the novel and recommended even if you have watch PA before and not read the novel

There is just so much more that the novel captures that the drama can't.

I think it's good. However, I'm definitely not your audience for the type of fanfic you are writing.

I think you can tell from what I've posted in the past that I'm more focused on the theme and the message that the story conveys.

Not that I don't appreciate the more intimate moments of a Drama or story/novel.

Ji Ling falling for LWY in the original time line was largely due to his loneliness, that lead him to creating Puppet JL who inadvertently meet LWY

and of course LWY being created and manipulated by JY to get close to JL.

Not yet, I havent start it yet 🤣

But wouldn't it mean much more if they are complete stranger and still fall in love all over again?
