The sfl is not a simple girl, she knew lini has feeling for cuilin but she still tries to get close to him, and also pretending to not know about their relationship and wanting to make cuilin jealous by showing her the arm guards she bought as a gift to lini. Lini thought it came from cuilin as a result he was showing them off to cuilin, cuilin pretending not to be jealous by lying to him about her relationship with her brother to get back at him. She's so petty, this what you call killing two birds with one stone, making lini jealous as well as distracting him so he will lose his composure in their negotiation lol. There are those who have a problem with cuilin actions and hating on her because she doesn't act like a typical girl in love who lose their head for a guy they just met, while I on the other hand I really like her character for not losing her head over the first guy she falls for lol. Both lini and cuilin just met and even though they have feeling for each other as they spend times together, they're still leaders of their army so they have a responsibility to their army, at first it looks like he's losing in the negotiation, but later we found out he has another plan and needs cuilin's army to help him, so neither of them actually lose to the other in the negotiation.

Yeah I remember the line is for the past 20 years this is the first time I've been at peace so I assume he's in his 20.

I don't think so since I like both snow eagle lord and wonderland of love, wonderland of love getting lots of praise right now so it's not meh but a very good drama with a good production and the pairing of xukai and jingtian are also good ^^

I'm concern xukai's three dramas are rumor to air in 2024, but is the rumor true they will be airing one after another, i hope we will get some time for each drama to get proper promotion and for him to appear in variety show with the actresses to promote each of his drama, so we not be lacking xukai next year. After these dramas air, he doesn't have anymore dramas besides the one rumor to shoot in December this year.

I don't count ama, he has done two modern dramas before abay, they are falling into your smile and she and her perfect husband ^^

In an interview, both xukai and jingtian describe the relationship between lini and cuilin as sour and sweet, and I agree when it's sweet it's sugary sweet like when they write love letters to each other, or enjoying nuts together or smelling the same flowers together as a long distance relationship. Also in writing love letters to each other, they have another purpose besides expressing their feelings for each other, and it's super sweet that lini cares so much for cuilin that he's even helping her to expose her cousin's plan as a result he can tell when cuilin was in danger and come to her rescue ^^

Xukai does his own fight scenes and horse riding. He has been in many historical dramas so he is used to fight with many different weapons, he also admitted to like doing action scenes in interviews.

I heard about jtl, I'll check it out when I finished wol. I heard the CP there didn't have chemistry so chemistry is subjective either you like it or you don't just like for this drama. You can like the CP or not but can still enjoy the drama for the story.

I think everyone is selfish in that regard when concerned their family. They will always put their family above other people even though they might've a good heart. Also saying she doesn't understand lini is not exactly true, she does understand him however she's also very rational and dealing in fact, and she's selfish in wanting to protect him from danger that she thinks will come to him even when he doesn't care it will put him at risk in order to keep his personal freedom. Why do you say he's the only one who's head over hill in love, did he change his own thinking for her or his own principles for her. Does a woman only head over hill if she has to give up her own opinion and subject to the guy she loves to be truly in love with him?

Agree, fl is not a typical good girl that what makes her interesting. She is well match with lini. I think I have a strong dislike for weak fl because I watched so many strong fl growing up that I prefer spunky fl who also has shade of gray as they're the type of fl I like, that's why I like cuilin, she is someone who can challenge lini and also give him a fight.

Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. Can his dramas air consecutively since they're all tencent dramas, Next year will be a busy year for xukai dramas since two of his dramas already got broadcast license and are awaiting an air date.

This came from a novel, and stay true to the novel really well, however I think due to censorship some scenes were taken out of the dramas as a result not everything was resolved as those scenes were edited out. If you're interested there was a novel that was published at the same time when this drama came out, you can check in recent discussion above for the link of the novel of this drama. I think the miscommunication was an excuse to have the ml and fl separate from each other, and as a result give ml a lot of growth while he was separated from fl.

Same here I like his acting but I also like him as a person who is kind and caring to his fans, who's also really nice to his parents. He said to his fans to don't spend money on him but to spend money on themselves and their parents, makes me have a different eyes about him.

He only had one scandal when he just started out acting and that was when he became popular with story of yanxi palace that came from his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence and cheating with an actress he was paired with in his dramas. He has to make a statement and apologized but denied the charges made against him. Take it with a grain of salt since this is an ex who could be bitter about their breakup and just want to make trouble for him since he was getting lots of attention at the time, but I heard he got lots of backlash for it as well as the actress that was accused with him as a result they haven't pair with again ever since the rumor; later there was a video with the same ex-girlfriend that made people think it was the ex- girlfriend that was the one being violent in the relationship. Anyway it was many years ago, but some haters of his still bringing it up even now.

I like xukai because he's hardworking, and seeing him in interviews and fan meeting videos made me think he's just a regular guy who is very kind to fans, doesn't put on air, and is a very modest person who just like acting and does what he likes.

I have always like the fl in xukai dramas, they're strong and opinionated. The only thing I don't like in his dramas are the love triangle that I felt ruined many good dramas. This drama I'm just glad sml and sfl are not the cause of the main leads misunderstanding, and they were able to talk things out to reach an understanding. This kind of relationship is what I consider mature and requires understanding and patience from both parties to make the relationship work since both are opinionated and stubborn. A relationship only lasts when you go through hardship and putting in the effort. It's not a typical romantic drama and can be a bit heavy for those who're not into melodrama, and like a more straightforward romance. This also depends on the type of audiences, it will probably appeal to more older audiences, as well as those who are into angst dramas.
