Yes i do think so, her story line was much more interesting than fl, i didn't care for fl much after she hurts lixuan so badly.

His character is someone who produces results regardless of feeling. But because of his love for her, he made it so she she won't feel guilt over his death. I like his character being i love heroic character, he's not someone who do things for love only, but also someone who cares about duties and responsibilities ^^

In my opinion, if that is true she should call out his fans. I seen this happened for other stars and they would sue those fans to make it known they're being harassed. Xukai has to do that for some of those fans who went to far and even stalked him to his hotel room. Fandom is one thing, but being toxic or cyberbully anyone is another thing. I've seen some people on youtube blaming him for fans behavior, and in my opinion if you're a fan of someone and you post something negative then it's on you, and we should call that fan out. Some of bailu fans are being really toxic as well, putting down other actresses xukai worked with or just saying mean things, i don't consider that her faults for those fans behavior since she doesn't even read those posts, but be a smart and responsible person when you're posting online because you never know who you might offend.

Still he gave her a chance at a new life free from that cruel fate. His thinking she will forget him as times go by, that why he made her hate him. There is no right or wrong answer, since anyone with the power of chaos could die to save the three realms, and that's why he made that choice. The thing about baijue is he think he will not be able to come back after his sacrifice, that why he came to her to say goodbye and give her closure, i find that love is such a pure love without asking for anything and that what i love about him. If you watched in the beginning, she also made the sacrifice without consulting him either. He has watched her die once before and live with regrets with not being able to save her. What do you think she would've done if she found out, would she go behind his back and make the same sacrifice again. Since you're not in his shoes, you can't tell what he feeling. Also he does not want her to suffer that why he cut ties with her. It was nobody's fault that she fell in love with someone who can't love back since he was about to die. His only mistake is he couldn't predict how cruel fate is, and she fall in love with the half of him that he created so he could complete the tribulation of chaos.

She has to sacrifice her life to save the three realms, he didn't want her to make the same sacrifice again, so he did it in her place. Actually he would've done it anyway even if he didn't fall in love with her, that how his character is since he was young, he was taught to fight for the three realms, and care for all being. The ancestor god is a cruel god to put such a burden on the both of them, they have to sacrifice their love to fulfill their duty as true gods.

Did u finished the drama, this is adapted from a novel, so it depends on how the characters are written in novel. I watched ml in many dramas, he been playing lots of comedic roles, so this is a nice change as i was looking forward to his serious roles. If you want to watch him in comedic roles, he in arsenal military academy, once upon a time in lingjian mountain, dance of the sky empire and court lady, those dramas his characters are more lively and humorous ^^
