You shouldn't be pointing the finger at the fl, it's not her fault that the production team put her as equal billing with xukai. Let me said this the billing should be in consideration to the drama itself rather than their standing. Fans being mad that xukai is not first billing is similar to seven tan's fans being mad because she was not first billing. Why are his fans acting like her fans used to do with xukai. I remember another drama that was a fl centric that starred zls and yang yang, in term of the drama itself the fl should be first billing but because of yang yang he was first billing or they were equal billing but fans of her were not mad about it, because they understood about standing. That drama got a very good rating on mdl by the way. I don't see fans of zy being mad over her billing whether she was second billing or equal billing because they understood what matter is the drama itself. If all you care about is billing rather than the quality of drama than your priority is in the wrong place. Even if xukai was first billing but his screentimes didn't reflect it than what was the point that is what i call using him for promotion and not deliver on the good as some of his dramas in the past has done.

You must be kidding if we're talking about the one who is lacking in acting skill is not xukai, he's playing his character well as a strict captain and his changes after falling in love while with chengxiao she got lots of complain for her acting because her character lack expression even if she fit the character. I disagree with you the main leads does have good comminication ml does let her handle things on her own when he support her to play an opponent who beat her once before. This drama is about team work and working together as a team, the ml and fl do have growth as individuals, fl was able to get over her failure with the help of her teammates, ml was able to confront his issue of always wanting to be in control as a captain. No one is perfect, fl lost her confident after losing the first time, she doesn't want to cry in front of all the guys so she cry in silent and it was ml that comfort her and gave her advice. I don't remember fl always crying beside the one time she lost or her preaching other then her standing up for herself and her teammate or giving advice when needed. I don't think you got very far on this drama if that's all you can say about it, it's not perfect but not as bad as you claim. Xukai is an actor who known for his acting skill not just for his good look, he has fans who has follow him from his other dramas, this might not be his best acting but to make such a claim about him really insulting his fans. Didn't know you're an expert on acting to making such a claim 😅

I find it ridiculous when fan war started on billing issue in china, i didn't think it would spread to international fans too. Xukai has never care about billing when he was ask about it, so this is just his fans desire in wanting him to be first bill but what no one actually say is when he was first bill his screentimes don't increase not only that he will get criticize over drama failure or not meeting expectation. While when he was equal billing he got more screentimes like in as beautiful as you or wonderland of love so i don't care too much about billing rather i care about the drama quality and xukai screentimes.

Compare to the prince i felt that character is part of the drama plot so he wasn't out of place. It's ok you don't have to like cl everyone has a different opinion on it.

I heard from a behind the scene xukai choking scene he wanted the other actor to choke him for real to make the scene as real as possible. Poor ch after he got choke, we can see his neck became really red in the hospital when he went to see sg, it's not from makeup but came from being choke. Xukai is going all out in shooting this suspense drama as a result we can tell this is a quality drama when the whole casts are putting 100% effort.

The casts are finally got updated. Bai shu is also in this, he play xukai's friend in snow eagle lord, what is his character going to be in this drama?

Before you watch a drama you should check source material then you will know whether it's fl centric because most audiences are females so most idol dramas are fl centric. If you want to find ml centric dramas they usually are in different genres like wuxia or crime/ suspense dramas like eight hundred of xukai that has just started as romance is not the main plot.

Did you just said xk is soft he has face many controversies over the years and is not affected by them at all. As an international fan i will not follow those from china they can do whatever they want, but know this xukai is a professional, he knows very well the director choice, some directors can be easy and some are strict but as an actor he still has to follow the director's rule. I understand fans feel bad for him but that is not the reason to not support the drama either. How fans behave will also affect xukai as their behavior will reflect negatively on him if drama fail because of their action. The behavior from this director is not unlike other directors i heard in the past who require their actor/actress to be present on the shooting day even if they're not being shot. In the film industry not all director are nice and accomodating, the fans don't always get what they want, actor/actress are being pay after accepting a project they will have to finish their obligation until the shooting done.

Court lady was an ensemble casts and follow novel quite well. It was an fl centric drama where the main leads have a long separation, i can see why some might not like it because it's true his screentimes were less at the beginning compare to 2ml as he was a prince who live in the palace while the fl worked there. It's a good thing toward the latter of the drama his screentime increase, 2ml was only there to be a love conflict between ml and fl. I also hope it will not be like court lady but i don't think it will the fl is not trap in the palace like the fl in court lady anyway.

What do you think he was doing since his action look exactly like he was wiping his snort. I kind of remember a scene in another drama best choice ever that was really cool when he did it but he later admitted it wasn't intentional but it didn't take away how cool that scene was 😅

We're talking about this drama not eight hundred. This drama has not come out yet but fans actually wanting to ruin the drama just because they got offended over billing issue. It doesn't matter to me and i'll still be watching it to support xukai. As for eight hundred it's a quality drama that xukai has pick and likes. I'm watching it right now and don't feel he has less screentimes than other actors in the show. Xukai should be proud of his work in that drama since he got pick by the director him self to play that role mean the director trust he can carry the drama.

This is all just speculation about cut scenes i'll wait till drama air to see it for myself. I feel sad for xukai that his fans will not support him in his new drama when it looks like this drama will be a hit, i will just ignore all the rumors.
