dont forget he was hit from behind
Still he can’t fight, why bother mentioning marines. The writer forgot “Chekov’s Gun”, smh.

Do not watch this stupid show
Whenever the antagonist is the lead the writer has to give them superpowers and make protagonist stupid to keep antagonist relevant till the very last episode

If you want old fashioned romance then I recommend this. It does lag a bit here and there, but overall it’s a nice watch.

Also “Im Soo Hyang” looked like a goddess in this drama, I still say actress’s role color the way we perceive them..

I have to give the writer credit for doing the birth secret right.

The writer should have designed the FL character a bit better, the FL is portrayed as smart and sharp but not applying this latter on to for example help the ML in running the business was a missed opportunity. I think that is why they brought in the ghost storyline so the FL could help the family.
Also not giving her hardships to overcome early on meant less sympathy from the viewers for her becoming gisaeng.
Maybe FL and stepsister’s characters should have been merged, because I had more empathy for the stepsister.

Also I would probably call this drama more of a slice of life.

If you’re looking for romance keep on looking, this isn’t it. Slight romance in the 2nd act but later half of the show is boring and repetitive.

I’ve learnt my lesson, if villain is the lead then nothing gets resolved until the last episode, and the villain is given superpowers by the writer to keep them relevant in the story till the very end when the superpowers just goes away and everyone wakes from a dream and are shocked by what the villain has done, smh.

The doormat martyr character is a sign the writer is lazy but wants you to feel empathy, but I think it makes the viewer ambivalent towards the character instead.
Being a doormat martyr with a messiah complex is just an insidious controlling behavior.

Without consequences for one’s actions, how can one grow and develop?

Amongst the worst, truly! Right from the end of the first episode, it was evident that its fate was sealed and…
I completely agree with you on this one, it’s like.
Once you start watching it’s like a train wreck you can’t look away because you’re curious as to how bad it can get.

This show is quite stupid. It seems to have been written by 10th graders, or maybe it’s an April Fool’s joke on the viewers??
Abandon medical school to be a pastry chef?? You don’t see him in making pastries??
Low effort from the production team, the lead actors etc..
And it commits the worst crime of all by being boring.

On the surface it seems like a normal show, it’s like sticking your hand in a bag of donuts only to pull out your hand and it’s covered in dog p@@p.

Start watching at your own risk, you’ve gotten a fair warning, so you have no one to blame but yourself.

Title Noble Woman
ML character was quite cowardly, hence the reason he ended up as he did.

Unfortunately Lead Actress doesn’t have the visuals to carry this drama, especially opposite Honey Lee.
