To be honest, I feel the same way. This opinion is not one I would speak out loud lol, everyone loves him, so I thought it was just me. I feel like he plays the same character just in a different font every time. I’ve started almost all the dramas the other comments listed and the only one that felt distinctly different was Ancient Love Poetry. Specifically in a Best Choice ever, the switch from stern and stoic to the in love version of the character felt off. Regardless I still like him 🤷🏾♀️

watched the double and while it was airing the comments were mostly about wanting more romance or gushing over the newest scenes. I have been watching k dramas since 2008 but only started Chinese dramas in 2020. The double is the only Chinese drama I’ve watched while airing though. I only started using mdl because of Chinese dramas, there’s not spot of fans in my usual circles for k dramas
