Those of you who have finished watching you, you guys need to also wash the BTSās after the last episode they are quite funny. They are not those that the site put out anyways I havenāt seen them and they were very cheesy. And it helps for the ones that are sad about the ending. Given what Wu Xie said at the end and the note from Xiao Ge about āworking together beforeā plus that snake that followed both bros around inside the hypnosis and finding out about the meteorite through that hypothetical 3 way convo, this makes a ton of sense more than the stab and done. ZHX who went through so much to just die like thatā¦.when I watched it this morning (after not sleeping all night) even then it didnāt make sense to me. I donāt believe heās dead either; I think heās in that suspended animation state waiting for a cure. Even at the very end of them fighting ZHL through words and actions let ZHX know he hadnāt given up on him (as he had explained to the two with him and the snake charmer dude as well as continuing with what ZQS had told him that we had the flashback to in episode 29. Though he wasnāt acting like everything was normal, he now understood the why and treated him like two different ppl sharing a body). Because of the world theyāre in thatās where my headās at plus I think Shifu knows it too. The all knowing look she gave ZHL on that boat at the end was a bit too obvious. The medicine formula dark shrimp burned wasnāt the real one and she either has it or memorized it as we know sheās good at that so other than Zhang blood they need the other ingredients. Whether weāll actually see it or not is a different matter.
But one thing no one can deny is DYXās acting here! Just wow. To be able to switch from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde on a dime like that? Mad props. Thatās not easy at all. Also fun little factoid; both MLās are the same age irl only a month apart.

Right the family created that medicine from the meteorite, but that doesn't mean that everyone took it. Plus, you have to remember because of his birth and that his mother was not from the family. He didn't take the same stuff that everyone else did, but he does have a lot of of the specialties that the family has like the long fingers and the something close to immortality and not aging. But he definitely did not take any of that stuff.

Well, we don't know now do we? Because their master said that do you really think the medicine you burned was the real one? So who knows if she died and was brought back somehow with ZQL's help. It's obvious that ZHX was able to defeat his second persona or the alien but of course he had to die or whatever you wanna call it as well. And all those questions that WX asked at the end, looking at the picture and after reading everything, the questions he asked, were legitimate. Maybe they could see each other again if they found out the origin of the meteorite and the medicine the cure who knows? I think this is more of an OE semi HE since mentor was saved, but all the editing did not do it any favors that's for sure. I only watched the last episode to get a handle on things, but because I didn't sleep all night I will rewatch everything and then put my thoughts down in a semi something or other review.
I just watched the last episode. I'm not going to give anything away, but just the way the talking went. Maybe it could have a season two. I will rewatch the five episodes when I wake up since it's 7 AM here and I haven't slept all night.
