question: the ML is the emperor's brother?? or cousin or what? the SML is the emperor's son?
in the second season when the FML is trying to gather money for her hospital. She mentioned that only the sons of the emperor are given rewards. With this she insinuates that her husband is not receiving a reward because he's not one of the emperor's sons.
This is one of my all favourites BL series from South Korea and I'm rewatching it at the moment (for the second…
In South Korea people make an distinction in how familiar they are with the other person by how they address the person. There are a lot of levels that aren't quickly explained like that but the basics are
saying the person's last name only (formal for not close relationships), saying the person's first name (informal for close relationships. This is usually only dome by really close friends, family members and lovers. Saying the person's full name if formal which can be done by both close and not close relationships.
saying the person's name with honorific like -shi (formal for not close relationship), -ah (informal for close relationshis), and -nim (formal for work relationships).
So that's the basic but what Wonyoung said was sajang-nim. Sajang means boss or owner and -nim is the formal honorific for work related relationships.
Wonyoung was trying to get close with Teajoon but since he is the owner of a shop and they weren't as close at the beginning he opted for sajang-nim
There is so much more to it that I can't explain in just a comment. if you want to learn more about it you can look for korean honorifics on Google. there are a lot of web pages explaining it and there's a Wikipedia page dedicated to it as well.
(I have to add that Wonyoung kept saying Sajang-nim even after starting dating because calling someone a certain way becomes a habit. Also when people start dating they usually have a talk about how they will address each other going forward.)
It could be just me, but I feel like you should worry about what others might think about your same sex relationship before you start the relationship. If you are gonna worry about it after starting the relationship then you're out...
I cant get over how Hwang Cheol Bum keeps on using the same minions even though they keep on failing him every freaking time and then gets surprised when they fail again. Like I'm all here for the loyalty but my man, this ain't gonna work
To me the whole show felt like a self-fulfilling prophecy. When Ji Won turned back in time, instead of trying to fix her relationship or getting away from them she pushed them into behaving the exact same way as the first time. And then when they ended up behaving as she expected she was so triumphant about it saying "I knew you'd behave like this." Girl?? You pushed the both of them to want to kill you with your own behavior. You made them intentionally jealous and left them together like that. You literally made them like this
Now that I think about it, I totally think Ji Won's behavior could be considered a crime. She literally conspired with Ji Hyuk to get Min Hwan and Soo Min to kill each other.
NEED HELP! whats the Name of the Song in Ep.16 at 48min and the Singer? its like an american Country style Song...but…
Great now I'm pissed at 2:45 AM cause I can't find a freaking song. I've Shazamed it ans googled the lyrics but I couldn't find it so I'm guessing that it hasn't been released on streaming sites which is sadly something that happens.
if you want the song I'd suggest either asking on reddit in r/KDRAMA or download the episode and cut away everything of the episode besides the part where the song is being played in the background. You can then convert the MP4 or Movie file into an MP3 film and listen it like a regular song.
I did the editing for you, all you gotta do now is ask on a question form. If you ask somewhere with a lot of music lovers you'll increase the chance of your success. Here's a link to my one drive folder, I put both an MP3 and an MP4 file https://1drv.ms/f/s!ArJTpvCkUtB3gqMtkE5Kox2C6LTmRA?e=vfDUVf
For me a bit boring, I just finished episode 11 and constantly wondered why I couldn't care for the female and male lead. After some thinking I've realized that they have very little scenes together compared to other couples. The female lead is constantly with the second male and female lead while the male lead kinda passes by with just a nod or stares at the female lead from a distance. The female and male lead work on the same office but they don't work next to each other or spend a lot of time together like I've seen most kdrama couples do
