They were used by the adults for their own selfish gains and once the family's reputation was in danger the adults were ready to discard the children. Both she and her brother deserved so much more from their parents and aunt.

The story was feminist in a negative way. The whole all men are bad and women are perfect in any way is like feminism at its worst. I personally didn't like that part of the story and feel like it could have been left out but then there would be no story left.

The male lead was falling in love with her from the moment that the female lead handled those fans but I also have no clue when the female lead started falling for him. so I know that this is am old drama but I just have to rant about this for a sec. This girl got left behind by the general and his men at the beginning right? So she had to go to the general's mansion by herself with her maid servant. There were like a whole bunch of dead bodies lying around and horses that were walking around without any care in the world.So why??? Do these fools decide to walk all the way to the general's mansion instead of taking the horses?? And don't give me "oh, maybe she doesn't know how to ride a horse?" cause in the very next episode you can see her casually riding a freaking horse so what the fuck man???

This fool really doesn't understand his mother. She doesn't want to go back to that house so why are you jumping into a marriage that you didn't want just to force her back into that house???
