I wanted to watch this after all the episodes finished airing, but then I read that the main female character…
There are some hardcore fans who care more about their ship than they do the show so they are slandering her for not choosing their fave. Ignore them. She’s one of my favorite Female lead characters ever. And its a RIVETING performance by Yang Zi. Absolutely riveting.
I feel like a lot of people have been less hurt in life in these comments. There's also a lot of people who don't…
“Losing herself” meanwhile she’s opening clinics, mentoring young doctors, finishing Herbal Encyclopedias, planning her marriage….. She’s literally doing everything that makes her happy and fulfills her. People slandering her are so transparent in their slander.
I see a theme building over the last 2 days here in this comment section of people who ship XY with their favorite character and are angry it’s clear she’s not with him and have suddenly taken to completely trashing XY and slandering her. It must be a way for them to cope.
But didn't TJ hurt her already?Anyway why not start sorting out her abandonment issues instead and just go up…
he knew he was drugged. he didn’t know if he had sex with her while drugged. he of course believed he didn’t but he couldn’t prove it because he was blacked out. he didn’t even remember that she used an illusion to look like XY until he did the Lamp scene. So he only knew he was setup by grandma but NOT that he didn’t father the child. He didn’t know that FFYY was duplicitous. that’s what XY says in episode 18. That SHE knew FFYY was duplicitous and should have told Jing and worked with him to try to get to the truth. He didn’t have the same info that XY did and what she had she didn’t tell him.
it a way it reminds me of The Rise of the Phoenix. Which was a masterpiece for like 75% of the season and then…
uggghhh tell me about it. it’s because one of the directors, Liu Haibo decided to self insert him as her brother and it literally ruined the end. Why on earth they didn’t cast someone else I will never forgive! lol

because as she explains in episode 18 he was her reflection, she saw herself in him, except she became cold hearted and a killer while he maintained his pure heart despite all his torture and trauma and that is what gave her hope and allowed her to heal and love. She specifically loves HIM because specifically HE showed her a path to happiness and a pure heart despite horrific trauma that no one else did. She clearly explains it in todays episode to CX why it’s JING and not anyone else.

part of her maturation/evolution and growth is realizing TJ was the victim of a setup by horrible duplicitous people and she herself was guilty of not believing in him and working together with him to unravel the duplicitous brother and sister in law. So to her, after she’s gone through her growth she realizes it wasn’t Jings fault and he can’t be responsible for something he was the victim of. So she doesn’t hold that against him or consider it him hurting her. if anything she regrets breaking ties with him and not standing by him as she did later on.
it’s bizarre they didn’t use anything close to the available 40 episodes. They filmed more that they did not…
yes I’ve also explained this here many times to the confused myself. We know. however they filmed a lot that they cut out and they absolutely had the material for at least a few more episodes. they simply decided to edit it down.
People complaing about why season 2 doesn’t have more episodes…This season 2 is actually still season 1 but…
yes we know it was all filmed as one and the rule didn’t even exist when they filmed.
I think what some of us are struggling with is they filmed a lot more and edited it out. So what they DID film was cut down a lot. And that’s where the frustration is.
