I was wondering why everyone was rating this drama so low but now reading they included windows 7 in the 90s really makes me question what they had in mind when they made this drama ????
I honestly thought everyone but Gi Seok was going to die at the end. Would've messed with my feelings but still would've been less cringy than the barely acceptable ending we were served.
Is it really informative ? Cuz i'm a medical student and i've never seen a Korean medical drama that was somehow…
Honestly can't say wether it was realistic, obviously the cute happy-go-lucky korean guys and the awesome relationship between everyone ain't about realism but I learned about CIPA and I found myself very involved and intrigued by the questions raised about euthanasia and therapeutic relentlessness especially. Regardless of entertainment purposes, I'm very glad I watched it. Dr Cha is also, obviously, very inspiring as a doctor.
money flower ;) or ahjussi if you haven't watched it. it's sad tho, and kinda depressing.
it's not a super duper happy end per se but it's a "happy" end in the sense that the main character fulfilled what he thought was his duty. some people were disappointed their ships didn't end up together. I liked it much better than sky castle tbh, but then I was watching it when it aired whereas I binged SC. Also one more rec, White Tower. I found SC similar in many ways, it's basically about doctors, politics and their greed for power. Just like in SC they don't really talk about medical stuff. It has the Ahjussi guy in it. That drama was a big slap in the face for me. It's pretty emotionally draining though, at least it was for me. And heavy. And realistic. It's a 2007 drama that's been restored and aired in 2017. Don't expect love scenarios tho.
although it doesn't explore exactly the same topics, in *roughly* the same themes, I liked this much better than sky castle. I guess people are just attracted to the "rich kids" factor.
