Actually, Viki does hire some translators. I have seen an ad where they were looking for a Chinese to English translator.
Also, recently, I have seen many shows (Example: Secret Mother) being segmented and translated by staff.

Now that DF is gone from MDL, I really wish official licensed shows from vlive, YouTube, and KBS World's YouTube channel would be embedded instead. They are free and would bring a lot of users.

Shame its cancelled, I was enjoying it but I can see why it didn't appeal to people. They spent way too long on…
Also another problem was that the show was aired at 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m on a Friday. People are out drinking or with friends and the children are asleep.

First, the movie is released at cinemas (domestically and internationally), where it stays their for 1-3 months. Then you have to wait for the blu-ray/DVD to be released (so someone can sub the movies) or the license to be bought by a streaming service (Example: Netflix) and be translated.

They do need people to help translate synopses to English. It would be nice if you could help.
1. Switch to the Spanish version.
2. Look for a movie/drama with an English synopsis. Maybe see if you favorite movie/drama has a translated synopsis or not.
3. Press on "Editar esta página".
4. Choose the "Información primaria".
5. Translate.
6. Press "Enviar".
