The police girl is pissing me off so much! Like she keeps telling the guy to do his job right as a doctor, but…
Yeah, I think characters with "wrong" personalities must be in on Korean tv this year. It's pretty clear that the writers have no idea how these situations are dealt with in real life so they just make it all up. I'd love to have a real psychologist watch the episode where the doctor tells his dad there is nothing they can do for his son except hide his personality.
Such a pleasant lakorn - yes, plenty of the old standby tropes of rich vs poor, debt repayment, etc. but the writing was very good. Margie turned how to be a favorite character - so glad her story didn't get glossed over. This lakorn was really about the powers of words.
Really one of the most coherent lakorns I've seen - Anne never fails as a spunky heroine. Yes, there's not a ton of sizzle between her and the lead but the most adorable (and talented) child actors in Thailand made up for it. Tons of cute scenes and a wonderful second couple.
Now that I completed watching, I have to say that this was quite, unusual. The age gap between the lead (and that implication that he'd probably slept with her mom when they were young!) is so noticeable. He's a good actor but he's just not youthful enough to even compete with the other actors. The story would be very workable if they had written him as a playboy and her as the prude but they both can't be the conservative one! Or if the adult characters were competing in love against the wishes of their children! Overall, an odd slow drama.
Right now, I'm only at ep. 10 but I've been pleasantly surprised. No real white/black characters - lots of shades of gray. Some funny romance scenes which is often hard.
Gosh, this was way better than I expected! My only complaint is not being able to find the last four episodes with Eng. Subs. There's a very nice DM playlist but no subs. I watched it anyway and the plot really amps up in those last episodes so - look for it! I thought the second was simply going to be a mean, fussy girl but - whew- I never imagined a delusional killer!
One Christmas vacation, my daughter said, "Let's watch this cute Korean show called Princess Hours." Well, after Goong came 12 Signs of Love and since then I've never looked back!
Finally found this subbed on ytube. Good chemistry between the leads but basically, all she wanted was an apology and a promise to be faithful. I wouldn't have minded waiting five episodes while they worked things out but if you tease, kidnap, and insult a girl by saying you're going to have two other mistresses, don't expect her to be happy.
I watched this movie and then searched for and read the novel it was based on - both complement each other. For all the sexuality in this film, it's not really what the story is all about.
Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawart under a different name!
