I was interested in Assembly since it was announced. I glad there is a team who translate it into my language,…
I am from Russia and since Assembly is not popular, I expected it wouldn't be translated or it will take a lot of time. Funny but there is a fangroup that made a voice dubbing for Punch and subs available only for 15th episodes. So since I prefer subtitles and didn't want to wait, I watched part of drama with english subs. I maybe not good at writing in english, but my level is enought to read, unfortunatly Punch have to many special terms in it.
I was interested in Assembly since it was announced. I glad there is a team who translate it into my language, because I watched half of Punch with eng sub and not sure I completely understand it. Going to start it as soon as translation be completed.
Honestly by the end of the drama i grew to despise Zhen Huan. Ultimately she has no one to blame but herself for…
Firstly, she should never have any relationship with 8th prince, since she is an Emperor's women even after leaving the Palace. This was a law in that time. And that crime punished by death as far as I know. From a human point of view I understand her, but it was her mistake from the start and she continues to commit further crimes. Lying for Emperor is also a crime. It's a human tragedy because both of them, Zhen Huan and Emperor (and everyone else during that time), have a certain role in life and society and that role always counted above person. I think if the Emperor had a choice, he preferred to be a good husband and father, but instead he must think about his country first. His role as Emperor ruined his personal life, his love and attention was at the same time blessing and curse for the harem women.
Great article! Thank you. I also think that the romance part is the most boring. The only kiss scene was so out…
In ep 33 or 34 Joo Won told In Woo why he thinks, princess didn't choose him (IW). I don't doubt In Woo love, but that reason quite logical. Besides, there is often something selfish in IW action toward the princess, while she and JW place duty before themselves. It's like he thinks that knows better what will be good for her and doesn't consider her own principles and thoughts on the matter. It's sad because her free spirit and bravery was that caught his attention.

Yes, their understanding and care for each other are great. For me princess romance part sometimes too modern and actors do not match well in such a scene. But I like that part where she gives up her own happiness and decide marry In Woo for the country and her brother sake. It's filled with great sense of honor and understanding of royals duty. Every time someone asks about what Joo Won will think about it, I thought that he will understand and be more concern about princess than himself.
Great article! Thank you.
I also think that the romance part is the most boring. The only kiss scene was so out of place in my opinion that I was hesitant to watch further after 24-25 ep. Scene there princess was dragged out from the battlefield while crying for Joo Won also was distracting. Gladly later we return to the politics. I think if authors concentrate more on how Joo Won support his princess and her ideas it will be better. For example, I like the relationship between Kang Joo Sun and his wife (she always support him no matter what), Kim Gae Shi and king.
I now on 14th episode and continue watching only because Chinese here is understandable to my level and I can use that drama as practice. The characters go from one disaster to another and noble idiocy action became more stupider than previous one. Sometimes I doubt that story about adult people.
Hi! I wonder is this mini drama only compilation from main drama or have unique content? Synopsis isn't clear about that. I know that main story haven't been aired yet, but maybe there is some information.
This is the only drama in which I love villain more than the hero. He is too smart compared to the hero.
So his is just arrogant. I like how chief Kwon is lifeless most of the time and then psychotic. Maybe it's just I who prefer him be really scarry without hints of human desire of acknowledgment. Well in the end he isn't a professional killer, but just a maniac, who follow his own logic.

I don't think that it was a smart move to attack a police officer (for what I wonder, he can disappear from the place unrecognized) and when send that guy to hospital literally saying that he is very close (he already knew it was a trap). If it only his arrogance, or like my sister said it was done only to move the story and allow police to catch him in the end (which I don't like because it is not smart story).
(From EP13 preview ) Ahn DongChil to GangJa's husband : Divorce your wife ! Me : Yessss finally I feel sorry for…
I only saw 5eps for now, but feel the same. This guy is useless, he even doesn't seem good father to Ah Ran (I think it is a main reason to the marriage, to create a normal family for child, to avoid any rumor). I know that peoples are different and their relationship too, but they just live together like any other random people can. There is no any emotion between them.
