I think ep 39-46 was also pretty good, It's just they was emotionally disconnected with the first part of the…
I think 4 episodes was enough to make a conclusion, else it may lose momentum and became boring. I only watched bits of last episode, still in the middle of 49th. I just a little sad that Qian Xue and Ce'er seems be left behind.
I saw many people dissatisfied that Pingjing left the court, but it's not like Liang lack talented people. Why should he sacrifice his own personal happiness? It doesn't mean he will never come back or waste his talent that way. If he wants to be free, let him be.

38 so far, YQ finally fulfilling his potential as the next emperor, and the look on PJ face when he realized YQ…
YQ is a traitor who sold his own country. What a good emperor he is! I think PJ well aware of YQ real capabilities, that's why he is surprised by his achievements.

its good, but a bit boring in the beginning unlike NIF1 after few eps u just cannot stop watching. Its the opposite…
Some people say that Nif1 first couple of episodes was also boring. In my opinion they are much more interesting after first watch, when you already know wno is who.

she done nothing wrong actually, she would do anything to make her son to become the emperor just like any other…
There is nothing wrong with her desire to protect her son, but she is more paranoiac than rational. There is many ways to reduce power of Changlin, but she chose the most stupid one. Great ruler great not because he destroy everyone who in some aspect better than him, but because he put them to use. Besides part that she play in epidemic is just disgusting.

I have similar concerns. In my opinion, the strength of the original was that there were no villains per se, just…
I also wonder if they explain uncle Tai involvement later. As far as I can see, he sincerely cared about XYQ.

You really see the difference between writing for a novel and writing for a drama. Plot and characters' depth…
Even if he is dead, the seeds he sowed are still here. I think it is might be interesting. The culprit is long gone, but his evil roots are not eradicated. He poisoned minds of secretary Xun (push his suspicious nature farther) and Yuanqi. So it depends on how it will be played out.

Maybe writer decided to push the character to grow with the death of another character (I think about half of…
I understand why you could feel so. It's just I am not bothered by thoughts like writer did this and that. I enjoy the story and think about the details later. Maybe the problem is the writer here is more straightforward. As soon you start suspect there is something fishy, everything is explained almost without delay.

In my opinion, when PYY killed his brother, he did so not only because the latter refused to take revenge, but also to prove that he is better than him and more deserve to live. He placed himself above his family. PZ also has many noble reasons to place himself first and let PJ die.
I agree that part about the Great Yu invasion was a bit artificial, although it was prepared beforehand by the writer. But it allows to test PZ resolve one more time. In this situation he is more useful to his country and father. New treatment almost lets him off the hook. Imagine, you decide to sacrifice yourself, but later it becomes possible not to do that, you feel relieved, but then out of the blue you have to make decision once again. How many humans won't hesitate?

Sacrifice is indeed orchestrated by the villain (and writer), but I think the villain was not crazy, more like by all that scheme he wanted to prove that his past choice is justified. And writer is exploring different sides of familial relationship in extreme situations and how this relationship can change in the face of ambition, greed and distrust. I don't think it's all was only to create sadness.

In NIF1 hero have a clear goal, which maybe not so clear to viewers at the beginning, so the story had a core. Here there is no goal for the main character. I mean very big and important goal. So for me, it's like I watch someones biography.

So after having watched past ep. 27, let's just say all the hype died for me. It was exciting for the longest…
Maybe writer decided to push the character to grow with the death of another character (I think about half of the drama series have death of someone close to main hero), but it wasn't illogical or unnatural.
