I was talking more about general perception of MLs with past. Of cause each person have they preferences about what kind of ML they like . I just do not feel that having some past story with wifes or even concubines makes ML bad. It's more important if writer could tell a good story.

I actually think that they could at least add ML daughter in the drama. She was cute. I still remember how viewers were irked about ML in Story of Ming Lan. How dare he have a woman and a child? I do not understand why so many people want MLs to be chaste before they meet FL like a blank slate as if MLs didn't have life before.

I didn't watch new episode but I find this refreshing. Too many MLs loose their rationality when FL is involved and everything resolved nicely because plot says so.

While I think CXQ can be conflicted for some time but in the end CYY didn't arrange that marriage to separate CXQ from GJZ. CYY didn't even know that CXQ liked her and I don't think he himself even had romantic interest for her at that time. CXQ seems to be thoughtful person, I hope screenwriter won't create unnecessary dragged drama out of this situation.

I didn't watch drama yet. I am not completely sure, but I think they just could adopt a son to continue the line. It's family decision and it doesn't matter that deceased was a child himself.

I think he said what he meant. He didn't consider Shi Guang's worth as a player and only thought how to help Yu Liang to improve. I think it's ok for him to think that way even though it's selfish, but he shouldn't said it to Shi Guang face. It was stupid and inconsiderate. Also I think he planned to judge Shi Guang's ability himself and not to rely on Yu Liang judgement.

I didn't follow the news about drama since recently Chinese dramas often start airing out of the blue. It's indeed unwise of them to mislead people like that, but it doesn't mean drama itself is not attention worthy. Of cause people just express their love for their favorite actor, but I think it's becoming a little exaggerated. Personally I value plot and overall quality over actors. It's a sad situation than good dramas are overlooked or even left to gather dust because lead actors are lacking in popularity.
