It's different story in same historical setting. It has no connection with Prince of Lan Ling drama.

I think first two episodes is not as entertaining and crazy as Go Princess Go.

They use princes with the same numbers as in the original book. In Chinese BBJX 5th-7th, 11th,12th etc princes are also absent. It's easier to guess who is who for those who saw Chinese adaptation or read book.

I was watching this drama only because I like Wang Kai. The most annoying part was when he was shoted in hospital accident and no one care to tell us about what happened with him. I know he isn't a friend of the professor, but it's rather strange.

In novel translation is mentioned that her father is dead, I think he was 君王 (jungwang) in Yunnan, and she is 君主 (jungzhu), his daughter. Duke is 公(gong), there was Qing-gong at the beggining of the series.

I watched not so many of japanese dramas, but I saw him in Atsuhime. He was good.
