I love this ML character. so lively, so refreshing

Well what else to expect? Kdramas are raking money globally, so there is a huge rush to produce SOMETHING and all the foreigners are on it, making Kwood
and bc of foreigners meddling, plus the short verticals destroying attention span, now so many dramas are 8-12 eps, which means that every 4 to 6 weeks you gotta have a "unique" new drama - instead of 8 weeks before

SO YOU GOTTA PRODUCE ALMOST TWICE AS MANY NEW DRAMAS

i.e. you have to produce MORE DRAMAS, and in a rush so of course... they are gonna just keep recycling, use AI to write the script, use some cheap fast writers, etc

THE QUALITY DEFINITELY GOES DOWN

Robin Hood, Vincenzo, this ... are very popular. WHY? bc they address solutions to the failed systems of real life. It is a testimony that our entire societal structure is failed

It is basically saying: the structure of governance and living in real life is SO BAD that we welcome someone solving the problems - in ANY way

Someone corrected me, it was a quick peck on the cheek... and the girl immediately pulled back and sat further away...

So if that sends you into a fit of honophobia then.. you are hopeless case of homophobia.
Or just the idea of two females romantically liking each other? Well ... that kind of stuff has been around FOREVER and there is nothing anyone can do about it. It is just THERE. At least it is better for everyone that it be out in the open instead of forcing them to hide it and cause zillion problems for everyone. You dont want to run into a closeted guy and marry them, causing pain to yourself and them, do you. Think of it that way.

Ok I also thought it was on the cheek but just to be on the safe side, I wrote lips, in case I did not remember it correctly. But the feeling was not normal. That peck was fast and very .... without any feeling or stickiness, MS quickly pulled back and sat far away - she was intentionally making that quick peck be easy to be ignored and forgotten

- but ... the kiss was definitely a romantic invitation, saying - "I like you and I want you as my lover"

and the fast rather neutral action with quick retreat was saying ",and I am just letting you know in this rather "neutral" way to leave space for you in case you dont want it, esp since both of us are girls, and we are neighbors and schoolmates and will have to see each other a lot, so if you say no to this, no big deal".

So yeah one peck on the cheek is enough to send a hateful person into hate.

Yeah that was hilarious, that she was fed up so much and so busy to run back and revenge that she left the money lmao That one small but significant detail conjures the intensity, the power and "size" of the snowball avalanche that is starting to knock people off one by one. She was first....

The brilliance of the script and filming is reflected in that ONE SMALL DETAIL that speaks volumes about the plot and characters. This drama has many such small significant details and that is its charm and its brilliance

It felt so cheesy unnatural yet made sense that ML and the main villain were communicating so well at the end - they both were portrayed as basically similar, poker faced schemers.

But the villain was an affectionate loving husband, and ML stayed poker faced distant cold closed off with his wife too

Such a waste of drama time

I dont see any character growth in any of the characters, despite the ordeal they went through. What a waste of plot.
Also what is that cheesy soap at the end - grabbing a knife to save a villain's life???? - and did he lose ability to do surgery bc of it, or did he choose to stop doing surgery... ????

Quoting another post: "the acting felt very acted out (I could not feel the emotions of a lot of the characters, they did not feel genuine)." Yeah. Characters felt isolated from each other. Like the whole drama was filmed in vacuum and outer space, with half frozen characters.... The plot made it worse

The main villain was a great husband.
ML was a great bodyguard to his wife. Not a loving partner. He never planned to talk and relate to his wife and kept secrets to the very end. That last walk in the woods is a good "poster" for the alternate title of this drama, "Completing Marriage" - by a peaceful divorce, so they stay on friendly terms. Both of them are immature and cemented and unsuitable partners. This huge ordeal they went through did NOT make them grow up one little bit. Such a waste of plot.

Really sad that this drama was such a waste of time. It had potential. The three villains were great in their roles. The wife was great in her role, as she was supposed to be immature and rather stupid, rash and distant. ML, Dr Cha, policeman .... were... "unfinished characters", the script made them .... hard to believe

there was nothing romantic between them

Completion of Marriage is a good title - they completed it, they divorced. That walk in the woods at the end is soooo .... not romantic at all

Ah too bad there was no aliveness or a real love interest in ML's life. That actor is incredibly charming when he smiles.

ML's wife is a total idiot. Sooooo immature and controlling - just like ML. They both think they are in charge of everything. But she, unlike him, lack skills and brains. Has she done one thing right in the entire drama? Ah once. She got the files ML asked for. That's it. Oh ooops she just did one more good thing, stabbed the dude. That's it. TWO good choices in the entire drama

Dr Choi is like Edison - he did really stupid shady stuff, risking a lot, to GAIN a lot - if he could remove his competitor, then he stays the king of the roost. EDISON SUCCEEDED in ruining Tesla. Tesla ended up as a very poor and unknown lone man doing experiments in his cheap underground NYC flat. But eventually, 3-phases electric was used and Edison ... flopped, his company flopped, and he was pushed out of his company. . Dr. Choi didnt have even little success :)

BUT MANY SUCH PREDATORS DO SUCCEED. Historical dramas are full of kings who took over :) same with CEOs, presidents, professors, various "theorists" etc Many of them just ruin the competition and take over.

So this is not "petty jealousy" this is stuff worth of lot of MONEY, POWER, PRESTIGE, .. making it big

Exactly! I came here to post that question too - the text and the doll are 2 different things from 2 different people? The text is blackmailing ML and the doll is backmailing FL... ? what is that black box inside the doll ?
