I didnt check other dramas, but this must be happening there too. As soon as a kdrama rating is high, magically the rating goes down.

MDL needs to put IF THEN ELSE into their software and not let users rate individual episodes that did not air yet. This DEFINITELY has to be implemented, users cannot possibly rate an individual episode that did not air yet... !

All these kdramas but Sold Out on You and If Wishes Could Kill are excellent, top notch plot, filming and acting.

My Royal Nemesis and Kitchen Soldier are FUN :) really fun plots and excellent acting.
Scarecrow is a dark heavy super thriller, just amazing. Scarecrow ML actor is the real thing, such an excellent excellent deep actor, and the others are good too..
There was Reverse thriller too which imo is top notch as well, ML actor Go Soo was ***amazing*** that was a perfect stellar performance!!!! it didnt get as high ratings as it should have bc the plot was tricky and some ppl were too slow to follow.

There is also ongoing Filing for Love - top notch fun and acting too. and a super green flag but real and naughty good boy ML. That one is not on Netflix.
There is also ongoing We Are ALl Trying Here from the writer of My Mister and My Liberation Notes - that is a top notch art drama, a real diamond, a real keeper, a classic. Not the fluff junk food... Watch that, and thou shall be healed. Seriously.

If Wishes Could Kill and Sold Out on You are kinda .... young ppl dramas, esp If Wishes. They are more ... on the frills side :)

If Wishes is to show teenagers that they should be careful where and with whom they hang out and what they wish for... It is like "dont drink and drive" drama... and the message is conveyed by gory images. Very hwood... . Also the drama shows the teenagers what real love and care means versus what manipulation looks like, and what happens when karma catches you :) So - if you fast forward through all the special effects, you are left with some minutes of real substance,

Sold out on You has very good messages about healing naturally without pills, small town/village peace, health and community, etc - but... it is not filmed very well. The ML is a grumpy poker face John Wayne - totally totally obsolete type of character - and FL is ... great at work but a damsel in distress moron in personal life and the village, and ML babysits her. That drama can be a lot better if they just let the ML act instead of keeping him as a pretty object on the screen.

In any case, kdramas are alive and well, and the characters are REAL, and the acting is fantastic. And there is so much humor and warmth and lightness, addressing heavy topics. The classic beautiful healing traits of kdramas.

I love it.

Also NONE of the male actors are "pretty super skinny pale androgenous ppl with clearly visible plastic surgery". Some FL's (FFL and WAATH and R) look a little bit like that.... but all these dramas have real-looking, unique looking, strong men as actors, That is so refreshing!!!!!!!

Also, female characters are strong, and male characters have soft spots, and there is more communication and open/honest/wise/common sense/deep dialogue. It is getting more balanced.

I love the strong/smart/honest/direct FL who is too naive in love lmao and their honest communication. ML is smart and political too :) and also very direct and honest - as much as he can be. They both communicate well, as well as SFL and SML.

Our Happy Days has excellent communication, the script does use but does not drag by anio tropes and let's keep it secret tropes, it gets resolved fast and it moves on.

What fascinates me is how so much richness is in details and in seemingly simple communications acted so well, like.. NastyFakeFrench tries to get out when WebtoonArtist found her in the room.. so simple but clean plot and masterful acting and so it is super fun and memorable
