There was no subs when i wanted to watch this drama earlier, so I watched the first few minutes of today (Fr) episode without subs.
The scene of ML escorting FL home and talking in front of her house was amazigly well acted flirting, and the way it was filmed was super excellent and drove the point even more. E.g. camera standing behind G, so that you can see how he put his head to the side and tnen put *only* his head forward and REALLY close to EA, and how she was pretending to be nervous but LET HIM enter her personal space. It was such a masterful scene in every way.
THE DEAL IS SEALED. Two two are on a fast sailing ship. He knows it, and she is starting to admit it to herself, and both are not ready to admit in public. But the ship is already on the high sea... :)

To see the dilemma and the natural split - the traumatized animal screaming let's kill them both - and the calm voice of sanity saying stay out of that, that is NOT a proper revenge and will only hurt you bc you will have to live as a murderer.

So it is interesting that Chloe never resolved her trauma. So ... weird. You would think someone with such trauma will... take up yoga and pottery and art therapy, go climb Himalayas, go to some kind of professional counseling, run every day, etc etc etc etc etc etc - something to detox and restart all new - but no. For 7 years, she did not sleep and she lived in torment every day.

I say - she is a machohist :) Well at least she did not take to drugs, alcohol, or other addictions. At least she was a functional adult.

I saw the end of ep 8. It is called THE JOHN WAYNE MINE EXPLODES - ie. poker faced, no-communication, no-emoting, totally immature zipped up MChuR - goes full on in his HeTheToughMan mode, stabs, and runs

So did the audience expect anything else from John Wayne/Clint Eastwood Good Bad Ugly???? MChuR is written as a super immature character who 100% lacks skillZ to solve tough problems and to communicate. HE CANNOT TALK. Can he learn and mature enough in 4 eps... ? tough luck. The script threw him under the bus.

How MChuR behaves is very ... 1950s John Wayne HeTheMachoMan.
Why would script writers still write John Wayne characters and the audience still like such behaviors???? It is year 2026...

Imo JH has most material for some rich script.. It is too simple to just put him to jail or make him die from leukemia or be shot by HY.....
the most complex script WOULD have to use an external motivation bc JH is just too far gone off the rails to come back to sanity quickly, so something external like him being nailed in some calamity and then forced to self reflect and suffer :) and then some clever dialogue to help him transform and root his mind in sanity

SR script would be most interesting with that kind of plot too...

JM/BH scripts would be most interesting if he stops being her blindly loyal bodyguard and actually stands up to her stupidities and she transforms

HY's lapdog certainly should go to jail but should transform there

Professor and his wife... should divorce. MUCH LATER, as a reformed man, he should start courting her heavily and put in a lot of effort to woo her.
She should be free and become super extra rich and successful bc as a single she has the time for herself :)

Imo the most interesting script would reduce all these "who is biological parent" external plots and spend time to develop characters better. My ideas are in the spoiler
