and, when he first found her in art school, he was SHOCKED and his first thought was about being fired.

FL *was* bullying him. She denoted him, we saw her trying to delet his files, then she made fun of him and yeah tortured him as his boss. This phase is heavy crude makjang.

THAT CHANGES AT THE END OF EP....5? when he finds her in the art school, in shock. From then on, the drama goes into a deeper mode between the two of them and imo that is when the drama became interesting.

he is a very very very nice guy - a very nice person, in a very nice body. HE IS REAL

this is not your usual pretty face boy super skinny with plastic surgery androgenous face and very little acting ability, mostly poker face.
This is a very complex role, for real, and ML is nailing it

and his character is a REAL MAN, and a very nice one

I just finished Reverse, it was a great and very complex, complicated, tricky thriller. I am gonna catch up with this one now.

How come the audience here wasnt watching Reverse? What made you pick one or the other?

FYI Reverse showed current time mixed up with FL's memories, but without any camera/visual cues that it was a memory, so you had to figure out which scenes are current, which are past, and put the past ones into the right time slot. it was like solving a huge and complicated jigsaw puzzle. I loved it :)

This one is harder for me to watch bc ML is so rash and reactive and gets himself into UNNECESSARY trouble, and that is really sad. His opponent is super dangerous, so the consequences of being stupid are no joke. I dont like watching "my fav" walk off cliffs and die :( But ... it is only ep 8... he should get wiser/smarter asap, shouldnt he/

Reverse was 6.9/10 but it is 9/10 at least - but was too hard to figure out for most ppl

I found 13 ppl low-rating FUTURE, UNAIRED EPISODES in kdrama We are All Trying Here, and 17 ppl doing that for kdrama Filing for Love.
i just checked ratings for individual episodes of this drama, and I dont see that, but I see the rating line go down so it was probably there and then they removed the rating.

THERE ARE ORGANIZED GROUPS OF TROLLS WHO LOW RATE UNAIRED EPISODES, WRITE BAD REVIEWS AND GIVE LOW STARS, and all for kdramas.

So please be alert for fake accounts, empty accounts, used for low ratings. And give high ratings to individual episodes.

I saw some Korean ratings (Nilsen?) and this drama was actually #1 in popularity but here it is not. Only 546 users!!!! But the rating is the relatively high 7.4

So - how do we increase numbers here?
i want this kind of drama to be made again, it is truly masterful and well done and so much better than First Man or god forbid Pearl in Red. this drama is a quality FAMILY DRAMA actually.

So after doing a little bit of interviewing around, I think I am concluding this:
Straight women love to watch lots of cute guys, especially when they are softer/more emotional/more expressive, so seems like that gets them to watch BL.
"Lots of cute guys" is why practically every straight drama has a love triangle with 2 males and 1 female.
And recently, lots of dramas go even further where one woman tries MANY different guys (Boyfriend on Demand) or a "good" woman two-times (Our Universe, Practical guide To Love).
Recently there are also plenty dramas with women cheating, or chosing to marry a guy out of business needs, or women being consumers of paid or forced s.x (Climax has a power woman using a young actor for s.x, and Mad Concrete Dreams has a rich woman paying for "Chippendale" private shows.
There is a definite push that so-called "good and nice" straight women have their own "epstein files world" and do not make a big deal out of it.
i.e. a definite push to allow "nice" women to consume as many men they want.

In the real world, in the West, esp USA, there aren't single straight guys left so women are going hungry. There is less men to begin with, then plastic lowered their testosterone levels, then some are gay, then the very few good single straights are taken, and then the leftover is guys who do not want relationships but just have fun.
Then the rom coms show some weird guys, so cold, poker faced - but (unrealistically, plastic surgery) pretty.

So I am not surprised that women watch BL just to incrase their chances to see some decent normal guys who talk and emote

So basically, straight women are "in competition" with gay males to snag any good single cute guys, but women cannot win there, if a guy is gay, he is gay. Somehow in the richer countries, so many men turn gay.

These days, being a straight woman in the rich countries in the West is a very very very tough thing for women who want more serious relationships. Bc men are not serious, or are gay :) And the ruling thing is TINDER. Just having casual s.x like ... a one-time disposable product. So every 3rd american has genital herpes, and billboards for siphillis, AIDS, Hepatitis C, etc are all over big cities.

So yeah straight women will watch BL to increase their chances to see decent men or to just "browse and shop" beautiful objects

In ep 2 when he talks over the phone with his mom, he had some different facial expressions, so seems like he COULD act more than just that one face from Weak Hero.

Hopefully, he will have a lot more facial expressions :)

This drama is 9.5 / 10 drama, Go Soo performance is 10/10,

It started as 8.2 or something like that, and it is a shame that trolls and users who dont like thrillers got to vote this down.

Some trolls were rating down episodes that did not air yet.

I finally learned how to check this and found out that 17 trolls super low rated not-aired-yet episodes of Filing for Love and 13 trolls did that to We Are All Trying Here.

I didnt check other dramas yet but I am sure trolls are manipulating the ratings to make it go down in many kdramas.

I agree with someone' suggestion that architecture competition and gangster life could have been reduced and more shown how MJ and JH got together, etc

- but I am NOT sorry. I like the drama as is. Those "other" details helped to define the characters.

I am now convinced that this is a masterpiece drama BECAUSE I CAN STILL REMEMBER JH's EYES WHEN HE TELLS MJ THAT HE KILLED HS. There is such lying and also such honesty and such angst in his eyes, he is almost feverish. He is clearly crazy and off the rails yet honest about something and really really really trying to swindle FL.

And the scenes of him saying I LOVE YOU, STAY BY MY SIDE and then very business like throwing gas on her and telling her so calmly, apologetically, and business-like - and honestly!!!! - "sorry it has to end like this".

ML actor is a **** VERY MASTERFUL ACTOR **** as well as handsome. Why isn't he in more dramas? He should be in more dramas, he acts so well

I called it "not really romance" and I think I explained why - bc it is not of that scope, depth and statue ... It is not even officially dating yet.... it is not a full blown official committed intimate relationship between two adults, but it is definitely a romance :) everyone adn them knows they are a pair... and their feelings for each other are slowly growing.... right now, the status of their relationship is the "healing hanging out together with slowly growing romantic interests". It can end as a beautifull flirty friendship or it can progress into official dating and living together and marriage. She wants kids. So ....
