I went into this drama not knowing anything. I haven't seen any of the other seasons and I just happen to come across it on netflix randomly. To be very honest, i really liked it up until the end. But overall it was very engaging. The plot was refreshing to me (actually lesbian instead of the queer baiting i always see). The flow of this drama gives away how it ends; there is nothing really special about the ending expect for enlightenment for the 4 leads. They all gain an understanding about how they feel about themselves and each other.

Acting : Depends on the character and scene combination in my opinion. Some scenes I really felt that the acting was excellent and I was dying of laughter and strong emotions. then there were times that the acting didn't quite cut it.

Music: There were some good songs for the opening and ending credits but the mood music (background) was over done. Certain characters were given a background song that gave a feeling a danger (even though they used the same song whenever something petty or heart shattering happened--it got really annoying after the five times in a span of 10mins)

Re-watch: Even though I liked this drama a lot, I won't be coming back. I gave a low rating for some scenes and script topics. This drama showcased how society views same sex relationships and mainly marriage. It also incorporates revenge, mental illness (to a point), and suicide to the mix. The topics that rubbed me the wrong way were when they would slut shame the women but the main male lead was a straight up hoe plus addressing the darkest characters skin tone (offensively). They also made it seem that being lgbt+ was a "phase" and a "delusion". (basically making bisexuals confused individuals)

Final thoughts: they could have did more for the main couple. It urks my soul that the other couple had more growth (basically the second leads should have been the main with how the writers developed them in my opinion).

I came out feeling somewhat satisfied.

After watching the trailer and teasers, I was very excited. I get a mafia/legal crime drama with not only Song Joongki (SJK) but there is also Ok Taeckyeon (OTY) [SIGN ME UP!!!] You kind of get what your expecting but then some curve balls are thrown in. The story overall was somewhat predictable but still holds your interest. Some of the plot twists just come out of left field and it is glorious. There is a lot more comedic relief than one (one meaning I) would have expected. A lot of the characters have complex backgrounds and developments which is really nice. Netflix has a record for only giving few characters depth and I am glad more of them were incorporated . Acting was good overall. I know times that its not always the acting is bad but its the way the characters are written and directed. If there were cases of bad acting then it was the production/writing time this time. I have seen the main leads acting before , so I can tell the difference. When the comedy parts come in , the secondary characters/actors steal the show.

The music was good. I liked it more than I thought I would. Now that I am trying to remember any of the songs that were played , I can't really do it. Some songs were really good but sadly not really rememberable .

Overall, Vincenzo was a good watch and I don't have any regrets watching it. That being said, I have several problems with the show. Some could be just because tropes or flaws of the written characters. I for one like the violence (fight scenes, torture, etc.) especially if it was JK and TY. It is a "watch only once "type of drama. I may watch the last episode again if there is a another season just to refresh but not otherwise.

Things I didn't like (possible spoilers not sure):

(1)What I didn't like was the need to make the main leads into a couple (love interests). I would have like a platonic relationship between the two. They didn't have a couple chemistry but they did work well with each other. The writers wrote in several ...and I mean SEVERAL cases of bisexuality but used them for comedic humor. I would have made sense if Vincenzo was written as a bisexual character. And if not bisexual, maybe bi-curious at the least. The only verified lgbtq+ representation was in the "closest" and an serial assaulter. Yeah, that's a no for me.

(2) Some of the comedic relief scenes where just plain dumb and over kill.

(3) For me, the female lead was so annoying closer to the middle. The character had so much potential but they decided to make her a cliché. How do you start out so annoying yet badass to just plain annoying. I saw development in her but it was an overnight flip of the switch type of development. One to were it hits you how quick her selective moral change. They tried to make her intimating but that fell through because she was used for too much of the comedic relief before hand. She was going to be one of my fave characters but they ruined it.

(4) Why did the fact that Vincenzo being in the mafia become a public thing. there were scene where they would openly talk about him being in the mafia in public places (stores, bars, restaurants, the damn street). FOR WHY!!!!?

(5) There is one more thing but I can't explain why it irritates me without giving more spoilers. So I'll stop here.

I loved it until they starTed doing my girl Choi Yoo Jin wrong but aside from my biased misgivings about this drama it was really good.

Plot: a runaway mercenary' a girl whos mother was murdered and has been held captive since a young age' the girls father running for president and his wife the cold hearted master mind. Mercenary caught at the wrong place at the wrong time and is then later teams up with the wife to take down a common enemy. Buy then yhe Mercenary and girl fall in love with each other and desiderate to join efforts to take down the wife. Story of mistrust' betrayal ' cunning schemes paired with awesome fight scenes and heartfelt relationships. Not to mention a good bit a comic relief.

Apparently the story was changed since the audience wasn't having the desired response to the characters (no sure how true this is but I do see it being very possible)

The ending was very bittersweet for me and I am happy about maybe 75 percent of what happened in the last two episodes but I'm biased to my fave character Yoo Jin.

Don't get me wrong. The story wasn't all that bad but it wasn't what i was personally looking for. The cast was good and acting was better than most. Music was unremarkable and common. Sime good fight scenes as well (these i enjoyed). Companies producing this drama have to do what that must to keep the cash flow going. So i can't be too mad when the band restricts output. With that being said, i came here to watch the romance and sexual interactions *~*. I came to be a pervert and left disappointed. And i didn't even get so much as a peck on the lips. There was skinship and i guess one "implied" sex scene. I don't even think it was . It was in the very last couple of episodes But no make out and no legit confession from any of the three couples. But i did have a good time at the beginning. The ending was animated which irritated me. I suggest to watxh the last 5 episodes with patience because the character can be very dim witted and full on stupid at times. Some characters were beyond crazy and could have had mental trama/illness. **I am not making jokes or say mental illness isn't serious**

So if you don't mind the lack of kiss scenes and closure then i recommend.

*SPOILERS* 2Moons reincarnated but worse. *SPOILERS*

This series was promoted to be a continuation of Mark and Kits love "story". The trailer itself showcased that we would get all the Mark/Kit (previously known as Ming/Kit) that was craved during 2Moon. It would have some familiar faces while also adding new and handsome ones . But sadly, the trailer was a LIE!!!!

The main storyline started off about Mark/Kit with splashes of Wayu/Pha then it takes a disgusting turn. Pha breaks up with Wayu for some unknown reason and the focus is shifted to a heartbroken Wayu. Mark/Kit relationship develops at a pace slower than the slowest snail . Their conversations mainly revolve around Wayu and how to distract him from himself. Mark/Kit literally get fewer and fewer scenes as we focus on Wayu. (¬_¬ ). People were calling the main couple boring only because the writers stopped caring about their relationship development. I have never seen a show where the main couple was put on the back burner by its own writers like this one.

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

A lot of the side couples became center stage the last few episodes. The last episode literally had 3min of solo Mark/Kit. One of the side couples had more make-out and intimate couple scenes then the main pairing. I assume there will be a season two from how they ended it but I won't be watching that. There is a lot of toxic behavior shown and I am not here for it. The worst part is that everyone enabled Wayu and He ate that sh*t up. I am not sure I want to give the writers or directors a chance after watching this garbage. That maybe harsh but I feel very strongly about how bad this was executed. I really want to tell people to not watch this but I need everyone to see how bad this was.

The only good thing that I can say about this drama after wasting my time is Sandee. Sandee Cheeks if you will .
(*/ω\*)MELANATED, TALL, and CHEEKY, just the whole damn package.

If you like action, blood, and gore then this movie is for you.

But if you don't like social issues ( drug abuse, illegal activity, child abuse, mental abuse) then go somewhere else.

Are you a fan of the American movie Man On Fire ( Denzel Washington & Dakota Fanning)? This is basically the Korean version

It's not all serious there are some funny moments if you pay attention. Not to mention all the good looking actors that star in this film (WON BIN!!!! and others)
