I get what you mean, everything feels a bit episodic and scattershot right now. But I guess that's because they're still introducing all of the different classmates (I too find them interesting and hope each one gets fleshed out as the drama goes on) and each one that gets introduced will have some issue for Mu Xi to deal with as the class monitor. I like how Mu Xi and Dan Yi were given more time together in episode 6 and look forward to how their relationship will develop.

And yeah hats off to the subbers of this drama, the first four episodes were released with English subs a few days later but now they're releasing them with English subs on the day of which is awesome!

Viki got the license and it appears that they will be releasing the episodes in two days time.

This has just been added to Netflix. On douban this has a 9.1/10 rating, albeit only 600 people have rated it so far but this was directed by the same director who directed In Time With You so i'm definitely watching it.

I think it usually says that before episodes are "officially" released but i'm not sure. Maybe check back once they have uploaded them.

For the second jump I believe it was a combination of factors. Ruby mentions during the second jump that she just wanted any of the five to love her. In the second timeline, Zhi Ni and Meng got together, Zhao Yu realized his feelings for Kai Jia so he didn't pursue Ruby and although Jun Ren didn't cheat on her this time, he didn't provide her the love she needed. As a result of all this, all the friends drifted away from her, leaving her to feel isolated.

In a way, it kind of added to the fact that her character had nodules on her thyroid and that her voice was going hoarse..lol

But yeah I hope for a speedy recovery, she was great in this drama.

Agreed about the ML. In the present, he complains that all of his relationships are short lived, ended on his terms when he's gotten what he wanted out of them. Likewise, a friend like Kai Jia who he knows has harbored feelings for him for over ten years is also treated in this manner. His treatment of these women is definitely deplorable. But with a chance to go back into the past and go back through his relationship with Kai Jia, I believe the ML will come to appreciate/value/treasure their friendship/relationship and by extension start to place more of an emphasis on the importance of developing relationships as a whole. That's one of the interesting things I found about this drama actually, that the ML isn't perfect and deserves a chance to redeem himself as well. I too am invested in Kai Jia's arc, she deserves better.

Agreed, especially considering it was more of an one-sided love in Kai Jia's case in the beginning. Now that Kai Jia is being more proactive, it is up to Zhao Yu to confront his feelings for her and learn to appreciate/reciprocate his feelings for Kai Jia or risk losing a chance at love with her for a second time. I wasn't a fan of Jun Ren in the beginning but his growing relationship with Kai Jia is starting to make me see him in a new light.

Thanks for writing this article and giving a spotlight to this overlooked drama.

It's my favorite ongoing drama at the moment and I hope more people give it a chance!
