Vicky Chen, Lareina Song, Wendy Zhang. that's all I could come up with. popular upcoming female actresses are…
If we're using the Four Dan actresses of the Post-95 generation list as reference then you can add Sophie Zhang, Guan Xiaotong and Nana Ouyang to the list. From what i've seen, I would say Sophie Zhang is the best actress of the bunch. I think Shen Yue and Zhao Lusi are also pretty popular. There's actually a huge list of upcoming actresses that I think have the potential to breakout but it depends on their performances, resources and time to develop a more extensive filmography. And of course with popularity sometimes it takes a bit of luck too.

Fantastic list and I love many of your honorable mentions as well. We have the same choices for 2014, 2016 and 2017 and Scarlet Heart would have been my choice for 2011 too but I have to give the slight edge to In Time With You.

I've never heard of Queen of SOP and probably should give In A Good Way another shot so thanks for spotlighting those dramas!

My own personal list would be:
2010: Days We Stared at the Sun (TW)
2012: An Innocent Mistake (TW)
2013: Just You (TW) (Actually didn't find many 2013 dramas that I liked so I might have to check out some more from this year since you consider it a strong year)
2014: HM: Romance of Our Parents (CN), Pleasantly Surprised (TW)
2015: Nirvana in Fire (CN)
2016: HM: Q Series: Love of Sandstorm (TW), Ode to Joy (CN), Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds (CN)
2017: HM: My Huckleberry Friends (CN), Love, Timeless (TW), My Dear Boy (TW), Eternal Love (CN)
2018: Like a Flowing River (CN), HM: Imagine Me Without You (CN), Age of Rebellion (TW)
2019: Your Fukubukuro (CN). HM: Someday or One Day (TW), Le Coup de Foudre (CN)

Stay safe and healthy and can't wait to see your list for best movies of the decade!

Title Someday or One Day Spoiler
Agree the side characters were somewhat ignored. It's definitely not perfect but in a way this wasn't meant to…
Forgive me for jumping in here but I disagree with your point about how they should have made WQS an asshole. To me that would have been an easy way out. I do agree that they should have fleshed out his storyline but this is first and foremost a love story between LZW and HYX and how they're destined to be lovers and the role fate plays into that. The conclusion of the drama could actually be a good thing for WQS's character if he did survive the drowning. For all we know he could get the help he sorely needs and at least someone won't be using his body for their own purposes.

And LZW never went out of his way to meet the child HYX, he bumped into her both times accidentally when he was buying food then helped her because she was lost. This all goes back to them being destined to meet each other and being together. I don't think it's ever implied that he went back to meet her again after that initial encounter with her as a child and he wouldn't have a reason to because he had already forgotten who HYX was. Nonetheless because they're fated to be together, they would meet again as implied by that alternate ending.

CDramas are usually only 40 minutes long if you remove the intro/ending credits so this drama is 27ish hours long…
I understand your point. Ultimately, it comes down to the writing/directing. If the writers can find different variations on the issues or give them different issues/obstacles to overcome, then it won't be tiring to watch if you like the characters. However, some dramas suffer when it becomes apparent when the writers don't have any fresh ways to address an issue and drag out a certain issue for the entirety of the drama. Usually in these cases, it helps when the supporting cast is well developed with their own issues that aren't similar in nature to the leads' so that arcs/storylines don't become too repetitive.

Yeah but the drama doesn't devote all 27 hours to only the central relationship, there's a whole cast of other characters and their relationships. I like watching the relationship between Cai Min Min and her uncle and Cong Xiao and the co-worker, the siblings relationship, etc.
Personally speaking, I would never watch a drama if I was only invested/interested in one relationship or a small number of characters.

Liu Jing, screenwriter of Romance of Our Parents passed away on March 30 due to cancer. Liu Jing has another drama…
Thanks for sharing this even though it is sad news. I would like to thank Liu Jing for giving us Romance of Our Parents which is in my opinion, one of the best dramas I've had the pleasure of watching. She will continue to live on through this drama and Young Army Officer. May she rest in peace.

Same production company? That is why they gave similar feels. Good to know that Viki might pick it up. Let's request…
Yes, in fact, it shares the same director from "With You". Right on! Thanks for requesting.

Title Suddenly This Summer Spoiler
Hi again! And once again I agree with what you said. I also think one of the reasons for the low rating for this…
Yeah it's odd since the first one hasn't even released yet. But if anything, I guess there's two different versions to compare or choose from. I liked the feel and vibes I got from the trailer for the first one so I'll watch that one at least (hopefully it's subbed) and maybe wait to hear the consensus on the newest one.

Haha in that case, I do have to tell you it is a sad ending. I thought Where the Lost Ones Go was pretty solid but by the back end of the drama, I thought it kind of fumbled with the execution. Understandable, I heard a lot of people like Guardian!

Shoot I too am I sucker for childhood friends. I'll let you know once I get around to it. No problem!

Yeah both leads were really great in their roles. I had not heard about a follow-up movie but I would definitely welcome one! Thanks for the info.

Also, I don't know if you've heard but they're actually making another Unrequited Love drama adaptation and it's starring Hu Yi Tian from ALSB.

As for drama recs, if you want another another coming of age one, there's Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds which I quite liked but I should forewarn you that it's also received a divisive response. I see that you watched Nirvana in Fire recently so I would recommend Battle of Changsha, it's from the same director/production company and it's one of the best dramas for me. Since you liked Age of Youth, you might also want to check Ode to Joy.

I'm also planning to watch When We Were Young next after I complete Bloody Romance which i'm really enjoying right now. Like a Flowing River is another one that I plan to watch which is also from the same director/company as Nirvana in Fire.

I'm also looking forward to Exclusive Memory, same director/company as With You. Here's the trailer: https://www.iqiyi.com/v_19rr2s7uv4.html

I also wanted to watch Never Gone and The Day I Skipped School for You but unfortunately neither are subbed right now.

Sorry for the long reply, hope you find something worth watching!

Title Suddenly This Summer Spoiler
Why is the rating so low for this amazing show?? Honestly deserves an 8.5-9.0 rating at the very least, it's such…
Hi again!

And once again I agree with what you said. I also think one of the reasons for the low rating for this drama is the open ending similar to With You but as with that one, I do think it's an optimistic one. I think this is one of the better portrayals of a long distance relationship that i've seen in a drama especially showing the amount of work that goes into maintaining a strong one and the effect that time and distance can have on people and their relationships. Definitely one of my favorite dramas of the year so far.

Viki has gotten the license for this production company's other dramas in the past (With You, My Huckleberry Friends and Back in Time). So if you the time, it might be helpful to request the license by filling out the form below. Hopefully they pick this one up too.

"so that we can get subs"? what "we"? Viki channel is not accessible from my region... I hope for a fansubbing…
Yeah, I definitely thought that was a odd reaction. I just thought it was better for at least one streaming site to secure the rights to the drama instead of holding out hope that someone will pick this up. Obviously no one is obligated to fill out the form. But even if the drama wasn't available in my region, I was positing it in hopes of bringing it to the attention of everyone who is interested in the drama especially if they do reside in a region where Viki is available.

Anyways, I appreciate you speaking up even if you didn't have to. Thank you and have a good day :-)

Well those subs usually find their way onto other sites. But yeah hopefully someone picks this up since it's a shorter drama in terms of length.
