I'm terrified of watching reply 1988 because I KNOW I will be team Jung Hwan. I haven't seen it, but it seems like the writers switched at the last minute just to add a bit of surprise. I feel like R1988 would give me the worst SLS ever, so I might not watch it.

I can never get used to having an episode to watch two days in a row one minute, and the next I have to wait another 6 torturous days for it all to repeat. This is the reality of watching airing shows...the struggle is real.

I love how they added investigation / suspense / thriller as some of the listed genres. I looooove detective thrillers. It's really cool how this show managed to add in these genres, it's like no one saw it coming. It feels like a mixture of Weightlifting Fairy and I Remember You or Signal
OMG! As a Seo In Guk superfan, I was SO happy to see him on this list! I totally agree with you, he's a brilliant actor! Louie will forever be one of my favourite characters, along with Joon Hyeong, of course!
I really don't understand all the hate for this drama...when I was watching it I kept bracing myself for the moment it would become as horrible as everyone said it was...but that moment never came. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I didn't really think the main couple had any chemistry, and the romance scenes felt awkward to me, but I still enjoyed the show as a whole very much. Yes, this show is not perfect, and wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but to me it was very enjoyable, exciting, and even relaxing to watch after a long day. If you're looking for romance that makes you ship the main couple hard, this doesn't do that. But the bromance will make you very, very happy.

Anyways, I digress. This was a great show, in my opinion. If you like historicals and you like bromance, or even if you've got a bias in the cast (*cough Hyungshik cough*), I'd recommend you give it a try. :)

I don't usually notice whether people are attractive or not...it just doesn't register in my head. They have to be REALLY attractive for me to notice. Yet I remember that when I first saw Hyung Sik, I said "DAAAAAAMN" so loudly it made my mom in the next room jump. XD
