Episode 8 had a lot of product placement. I dont get annoyed by it usually since i understand how evil sponsors…
And also recently in The K2, there was even a line for Ji Chang Wook "I really like eating at this place!", how he could say that with a straight face...!?! Really excessive

I don't really mind the PPL. This drama wouldn't be this great without all that money and the PPL is…
I really hope Yoo In Na's screentime increases by MUCH to compensate for the lack of her! In ep 8, Reaper spent more time with Eun Tak than Sunny, and ET/Reaper isn't even an important relationship/official ship!

I like eating at Subway, however the WAY over the top PPL is making me NOT want to eat there...Surely not the best advertisement unless they're looking to REPELL customers!

tried to watch it for Yoo In Na since she is supposed to have one of the main roles here, but how does 10 minutes…
@amourexdile I hope your feeling is correct! Need much more screentime for both Sunny and Reaper

I'm really enjoying this, but I don't feel like Kim Go Eun has any chemistry with Gong Yoo. I find their…
Personally don't care for Gong Yoo, not a hater, just indifferent. It doesn't help to have the excellent Lee Dong Wook in the same drama, just makes Gong Yoo look bland in comparison to him and making me wish Dong Wook was the lead. Currently watching Coffee Prince and have begun shipping female lead with the other guy...Second lead syndrome can be very irritating! I really liked Kim Go Eun's character in Cheese In the Trap and felt that she acted it out very naturally, however Eun Tak is very lacking in comparison. She is adorable and all, but just lacking something that makes her that extra special. Eun Tak's interactions with Sunny, Reaper and the ghosts have been enjoyable, but it's not quite the same as my obsession with Reaper and Sunny both individually and together.

As for Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun, I think it's because they have too similar personality (the actors, not the characters) which makes them lack TENSION, giving off friendship vibes, even while trying to act romantic. Thing is, I do think they have chemistry, it's just not the romantic kind

As for Goblin the character, I enjoy his poetry and philosophical side, however he doesn't quite dazzle me like he does many other viewers. Actually, he has quite similar personality to me, so what comes off to others as this exotic creature, is just the ordinary everyday me... So there's nothing to impress me with, maybe I just don't enjoy watching a glorified version of myself falling in love too fast/illogically/no buildup with a character not complimenting me

However I'm also open to changing my mind later, however it doesn't seem likely I would. When I watched the promos for this drama, I noticed they lacked chemistry there right away, but I was really hoping I'd change my mind and thinking maybe it was just the trailers...but unfortunately I was right the first time

BTW sorry for such a long comment / rant ha ha, and thank you if you've read this far!

Agreed! Also, Goblin+Bride don't have proper buildup either/forced. It doesn't help that they behave like uncle and niece. It's not the age difference either, Rose+Nine of Dr.Who were adorable despite age difference, because great chemistry and behaving like boyfriend and girlfriend, it even made other characters ask if they were dating, despite him looking like he could be her father!

Suffering deeply of wishing-the-second-leads-were-main-leads syndrome! LDK + YIA characters and chemistry carries the show for me, desperately hoping they'll have more screentime! I've begun to ship them so hard

Whatever happened to the dramas that build up the feelings between the actors slowly over the episodes while all…
@Adhithi Totally agree! Finally somebody not blindly praising this drama! The main couple is yawn, too fast and forced, it's indeed much better if the love story has a slow and believable buildup, "SHOW not tell"!
I really like Reaper & Sunny though, their feelings make more sense, given their shared past life/incarnations, and they're holding back/slow buildup so far

So refreshing to see the females take charge! Sunny with pursuing Reaper, and ET with initiating that kiss, the opposite of the infamous Girl-looks-surprised&horrified-over-guy-suddenly-kissing-her, it was HIM with the deer-in-the-headlights look Ha ha! I don't even ship them, nor even like the kiss(ET looked awkward/like she was being tortured lol!); but I appriciate the writer for the strong female leads!

Not buying the central romance between the goblin and Eun Tak. The age gap is killing it for me. I do understand…
Agreed, too forced. What do you think of Reaper & Sunny? They liked it each other quickly, however they knew each other in the past/ reincarnated most likely, so come across natural to me. And their CHEMISTRY! So cute and intense! And the Reaper's innocence is adorable! Not to mention, she likes him for HIM, despite him "only being in the service industry" she doesn't care, despite him being COMPLETELY clueless about romantic relationships, despite his weirdness, she still likes him! There is no "playing the game" to build a relationship, it's so pure/deep/genuine! Besides, didn't some descriptions of Sunny state she's s a con artist? Wouldn't she then be a gold-digger/ after the heir more, yet she only used him to make Reaper jealous...still picked Reaper! Looks like theirs will be a deep, unshakaeble love, that started with immidieate feelings from both( because of their past), yet will have a slow, thus believable buildup. Your take?

Moderators/site editors could you please modify the genre tags? It should be COMEDY, DRAMA, Romance, Supernatural. This is way too lighthearted to be called a MELOdrama, as a MAJOR melodrama fan I find it misleading if not even offensive for it to be placed under that category. Melodrama lovers would be disappointed with how lighthearted this show is, expecting more of a darker tone! At the same time, people who prefer more lighthearted fiction might refrain from watching this, mistakedly thinking this is too heavy and depressing for them. Please modify!

I'm in the second half of the second episode but until now, without any proper storyline or character development,…
@nighrtwing Agreed! Still no proper storyline, not enough TENSION/ problems other than faraway future ones, too lighthearted, and shallow interactions. The humor in this show is also mostly childish/lame. Not as good as many would claim, many things that are are popular usually are of low quality. Still hoping things will improve though, It still has potential and some good parts, but for now still watching this for Lee Dong Wook & Yoo In Na!
