Actually I think that that is why they’re so well suited because they’re both kindhearted people at the core. XY loves CX like how Jing loved his brother too. It’s just the world was too cruel to XY causing her to build an impenetrable wall around her cold heart.

Imo, I think it's because XY agreed to the marriage while she was upset/heartbroken over the pregnancy/breakup with TSJ. TSJ saw she wasn't happy to marry Feng Long so that's why he wanted to stop it. If it was a decision XY made with a sound mind then I'm sure TSJ would've gave her his blessings but it wasn't the case.
