i'm jealous of all the people who are planning on binge watching this 🙂
I'm not. I enjoy pondering the various elements of this very complex show - soul-shifting,: "energy of the lake" and what it involves; the unique and loveable mage families; the breath-taking cinematography. 😊 In other words, I enjoy re-watching.
It's on my watch list, but MDL viewers seem to be saying "meh". I'll try it out. My other fave, Kiss Sixth Sense, end on Wednesday, so I need something fill in between weekends with AoS.
why do I have a feeling that mudeok and jang uk are gonna become rivals in the future 🥲
Right now, I don't see them battling each other. But they currently plan to walk away from each other - so that will be the gut-punch episode of all gut-punch episodes and we know it's coming at some point. 😥😥😥
For those that love the 1st OST - "Scars Leave Beautiful Traces" by Car, the Garden, here is You Tube version with lyrics in three different languages, including English.
These are the specific lyrics that played at the end of Ep. 3 when JU and MD walk out of Songrim:
"Take a deep breath, look into the distance, stand up again and endure I will stand here strong, now I am never falling down" [the last line is sung in English - that's the only way I could figure it out, lol]
The way I see it so far... In the Universe of Daeho, the soul and the body are usually born together and they…
Good question and we don't know the answer. But it doesn't appear that the current King has mage power, However, the Crown Prince's mother is from the Seo mage family. She is Yul's aunt - so Yul and the Crown Prince are 1st cousins. I'm guessing this is where he gets his power.

As of now, we are led to believe that the Old King did not have mage/Lake power. Jang Uk's power came from Jang Kang who had extra-ordinary power - he mastered Jipsu in one year) . Although there was also some power of the King's Star that I need to go back and re-watch.
From tVn/Han Cinema: Lee Cheol (Teacher Lee) Master 'Hemp' Lee - He is a mysterious figure who is good at magic, and is called Master ‘Hemp’ Lee because he wears only hemp cloth all year round.
I can't wait to see the next episode. Master Hemp had such a powerful impactful entrance and I love the mystery…
I don't know anything about the actor but as I was pulling weeds this afternoon and thinking. . . .and thinking. . . and thinking about AoS, I think maybe, no I WISH that Teacher Lee will be the catalyst of bringing JU and MD closer.
New character in Ep. 4: Lee Cheol (Teacher Lee) Master 'Hemp' Lee . He is a mysterious figure who is good at magic, and is called Master ‘Hemp’ Lee because he wears only hemp cloth all year round.
More spoilers below but all I gotta say is. . . . Do Not Kill the Dog!!
I love when the pacing isn’t slow esp for a fantasy drama, I’ve seen a lot of fantasy drama that almost nothing…
"the person that did the whole galaxy illumination whatever was at the palace so the royal family knows about the King’s star therefore put the brother as the next King or was is it something else?"
I thought the star gazer was at Cheonbugwan - the royal agency that examines and records celestial events, Another question for my re-watch marathon.
Aside from very annoyingly dumb premise of ML's birth secret (I bet his father, if he's still alive, will be very…
"For example, how Songrim, Sejukwon, Cheonbugwan etc. are translated? "
Last week, a couple of us posted descriptions of locations and characters in the "Recent Discussion" part of this page (see above the "Comments" section). I don't think there are meaningful "translations" per se. Here's a quick summary of the major locations:
* Songrim - A small city-like living community was formed around the head of Songrim. In Songrim, *Jeongjingak, the largest educational institution, and *Sejukwon, a medical institution, are located. *Cheonbugwan - a royal agency that examines and records celestial events, *Jinyowon Inside Jinyowon, which is secretly located in the Jin family, items with mysterious power are stored.

Plus he has an adorable furry dog.
Writers: Do Not Kill the Dog.
In the 5 minute preview trailer, he shows up at Danjuanggok (Naksu's training home)
And in Ep. 4, he appeared IMMEDIATELY after Heo Yeom mentioned a 2nd person that mastered soul shifting. And now he has the spirit dog to help him.
Looks like he sees Mu-Deok's secret next week based on the preview.
