I like the interaction of Park Jin and Do Ju , the housekeeper of the JangEvery time they meet, they are both…
There were three "couples" promoted before the premiere of Ep. 1 and Park Jin and Do Ju were one of them. I hope we get to see lots of them going forward. ππ
I think only 2: the founder of Songrim and Jang Gang. Alchemy of souls is a demonic offshoot of hwansu. And Jin…
Many have tried but few have mastered it? Perhaps Heo Yeom is only aware of 2 individuals - and they thought the last one was "20 years prior". Is there a difference between soul shifting and soul "devouring"??? I think so, but at this point, I'm thinking I'm going to do a major re-watch this coming week and start documenting everything said on this topic. I believe Jin Mu absconded with some sort of device that Jang Kang created and he is using that??? But, it doesn't explain Naksu's ability. So many questions!
The man who saw the star in the middle of the Dipper shine, the sign of the king, was the same man who died in…
Good catch and it works out time wise. It doesn't explain why the four mage families were there though - so I think it was all Jin Mu's plot to hide the fact that there may be a future king out there. There are times when I wonder if Jin Mu has "planted" certain memories into Naksu's head - that is, perhaps the four Mage families were not really there.
I cannot keep up with all the clues and hints that were sprinkled throughout Ep. 3 and 4. I'm going to start writing them all down by category. Maybe (1) the science of soul shifting/devouring; (2) the four levels of energy and what they represent; (3) Jin family artifacts (that bracelet is in the title sequence - with an extra charm). If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Jang Gang wasn't able to master it. I think the 2nd person is: Lee Cheol , the man who removed the dog spirit and is searching for soul shifters. He appeared IMMEDIATELY after Heo Yeom mentioned the "second person".
I prefer Jang Uk not to be the King's son just look at that lonely ass throne the current king is sitting lmao.…
As with all epics involving a protagonist with a "twisted fate" (evil spell, illegitimate, unknown parents, etc), Jang Uk is going to be facing the dark side at some point. After all, if he doesn't learn to control the energy, he may go mad. Anakin Skywalker went there - Luke Skywalker did not. I think he was born with Jang Kang's power, not the Old King's power (did he even have any?).
Since Jin Cho-yeon's "sister" was mentioned in Ep. 3, I am reposting information on the Jin family (I tagged it "spoiler" last week because the character had not been introduced in the show yet). This information is from official web sites (tVN and Han Cinema). I have ALL CAPPED the parts I find intriguing. Any theories or dialogue from the show should be tagged spoiler.
JIN HO-KYUNG - Jinyowon director, the head of the Jin family, who continues to inherit the maternal line. Behind her powerful charisma, she has affection for her eldest daughter, WHOM SHE LOST when she was young. A FIRST-TIME mother. Half-sister to Jin Moo.
JIN WOO-TAK - Jin Ho-kyung's husband, he entered the Jin family as a son-in-law and received Jin's surname. He's LOOKING FOR his lost daughter.
JIN CHO-YEON - She is Daeho celebrity and the youngest daughter of the Jin family, who looks colorful and dignified, but is a child-like naivete. Ho-kyung's and Woo-takβs daughter
I'm glad you're enjoying the show, but AoS is not historical. The story has original lore, different from korean…
Maybe "historical" means "not current or present time"? I have avoided all "historical" dramas as well, but I'm glad I decided to watch this one based upon a 5 minute preview/trailer that was shown a few days before it aired last week.
Yes heβs the kingβs son. The king slept with ML mom during the soul switch in epi 1. Park Jin did it to protect…
If JU was the Old Kind's son, then he would not have inherited his father's super power/energy. The Old King did not have mage power. I understand why Park Jin is protecting him - but in the end, his DNA is Jang and, like his dad, he will become the most powerful mage in Daeho. Or. . . that's what I think we are leading up to. π
Lady Jin was sus when Choyeon said her sister died. I think she was weak since she was born, they tried to treat…
According to the tVN site, Choyeon's father is searching for "his missing daughter". Ever since I read that description, there's no doubt in my mind that Mu-Deok is that sister. Another clue: Physician Heo recognized her ear. And, another clue (caught by commenter Sominah), Mu-Deok's promotional short video (similar to the Four Seasons) is also cherry blossoms - same as Choyeon.
Jang Uk is 20 . Regarding Nak Soo, she seems an experienced assassin so I would rule out that she is a teen. She…
I hadn't thought about the fact that Dad was there when Naksu's family died. She looks age 2-3 in her "memory." However, pretty sure Dad left when JU was a newborn - that's what it looked like in Ep. 3 - unless I missed something; I haven't done a re-watch yet.π
I'm having a difficult time aligning the the avenging angel Naksu, supposedly scarred for life because she saw her parents murdered, and the apparently younger, sweet teenager Naksu.
