Okay, bar owner was my guess as well. He has same last name as YS Mom and he really listened intently whenever YS was talking to her mom. So. . .some sort of connection. I wonder if he was somehow involved in the "car accident" that YS doesn't remember. Is he worried that YS will start to remember what happened back then? Why did he steal the photo of YS and her dad? So many mysteries.

I am ready for happy scenes of YS and MH as children! Hopefully we get some in Ep. 9 & 10.

The title sequence and YS' dream (Scene 1 of Ep. 1) make it clear - YS and MH were acquainted as children. They both developed their "powers" when they were children/tweens - I think it was the same event. well, perhaps I should say I am HOPING their powers/sensitivity occurred as the result of a shared event.

Well, yesterday (before 7&8) I posted my thoughts in the "Recent Discussion" category above and I labeled it "SPOILERS" - if you don't mind, that would be a great location to provide the info so that it doesn't fall way below in this comment thread.

It's getting out of hand for me as well. Fortunately, our "family" already had Netflix and Disney+, so my only new investment is VPN and Viki Plus.

I don't have time (or desire) to read the manhwa, but is the childhood trauma (probably the car accident) in the webtoon? Their shared childhood experience is the part I'm looking forward to the most - just wondering if it's based on the webtoon or not.

You're right - Ji-young is the same one-dimensional character as in Ep. 1, if not worse. Except for the two leads, all other characters seem to be stuck in whatever 2 sentence "character description" that the writers originally drafted. Ji-young - famous, wealthy actress with a loving father - how did she turn out this way? We will probably never know.

There wasn't much comedy, but at least watch the dinner scene early in episode - -very funny. Me? I'm here for the childhood scenes - lots of background story in Ep. 7 and 8.

LELK's black humor might be a bit too black for m e. But since it's on Netflix and Eng Sub is easy to access, I'll take a look. Cafe Minamdang looks more promising to me. Thanks for recommendations.

Mr. Queen has been on my Watchlist for a long time because you recommended, but I'm not a big fan of " soul possession" (which is one reason I'm not sure about Alchemy), especially a male possessing a female body. That wasn't an issue with FNOS - the ghosts had their own individual personalities and back stories. I've been seeing more on Alchemy. A 5 minute preview was released yesterday and there seems to be a bit more logic to the overall story, plus - three couples (one mature), visually stunning and apparently plenty of comedic moments. Plus Netflix - easy to access Eng Sub.

I read some of the comments and was about to turn away but then I read bloomingtide's comments from awhile ago and if she says it turns out good, then it's worth a try. Put it on my watchlist.. Thanks for recommendation.

Well, she serves a purpose, just as Pil Yo does - but neither character is admirable and both are obsessive/possessive.

Well, we now know the father's name: Hong Sung joon

Are we supposed to believe that all of the similar surnames are coincidence? I realize the "Kim" is a common Korean name - which is one reason you don't see it that often in a Kdrama.

For once, I'm not going to immediately re-watch the episodes. But very happy to see the childhood flashbacks and further confirmation that YS and MH had a connection as children.

It was released on Disney+ (Asia) at 4:00 pm KST. In a few hours, it will be available on "illegal" sites.

At one point, YS was at the studio and I think the contract was in a batch of her papers? Ji Young knows they are dating - but she really plays dirty in Ep. 8.

Ep. 7 was lots of flashbacks by YS and MH (including childhood memories). Also flashback with PY.
Ep. 8 – PY explains that he has always “known” about YS ability to see the future.
The team starting to put together the Mopix ad. Trip to Jeju island planned.
PY takes YS to meet the woman who had the baby. YS now questions how she has mis-used her power.
She Talks with bartender – yeah, he’s suspicious.
Ji Young takes MH’s phone and answers it when YS calls; JY lies and claims MH told her about YS special powers. She also deletes the call record. Okay, now this show is entering standard trope territory – a bit disappointing.

Everyone’s at Jeju Island to film the commercial. PY continues to push YS to go on more dates.
I FF through some stuff, but at the end Ji Young argues w/MH about YS and she gives him a big smacking kiss – just as YS walks up. He immediately gets a excrutiating headache – YS says she wants to discontinue relationship. and walks away. MH is crippled in pain. (this is VERY short description of a good 5 minutes of dialogue)
MH is eventually is outside searching for her sensing that she is in danger; someone w/face mask is obviously stalking her – first in a car and then takes out a bottle (chloroform?).
MH is running toward her, footsteps approaching and she turns around – and that’s THE END of EP 8

Episode 7 Recap
Episode begins w/YS going to work on bus and nervous about seeing MH. Flashback to prior night where MG agreed they would start dating.
OMG - Awkward dinner date that night where YS pulls out a “contract” for dating rules. They agree not to kiss - I can’t stop laughing.
WOW – the girl in yellow dress in the original Mopix commercial was Ji Young.
MH decides to not tell YS about his special power/sensitivity (especially how her kisses affect him). Flashing Red Lights 🚨🚨🚨Min Hoo – BIG MISTAKE. Dang, doesn’t take Einstein to figure out what the first big misunderstanding will be.
Lots of flashbacks. YS tells PY she’s dating MH and he can’t believe it – recalls many times she hated him in the past.
Scenes w/young Dr. Oh and Ho Woo at this hospital where he’s pretty harsh on her for a mistake.
Finally we get to see Noel Orphanage! (in YS dream Ep. 1, Scene 1) as MH walks through the gates. He lived there.
Painter Mom Sa-ra arrived from the US!
YES! YS and her dad WERE in a car accident – YS has no memories.
YES! When at the orphanage, MH remembers as a child talking with a young YS. Dr. Oh arrives and they talk about the “event” that happened nearby – near water. MH asks questions about shared trauma, blacking out traumatic events AND people. [He remembers child YS, she doesn’t remember him] He’s starting to make the connection.
The Mopix executive knew YS’ dad; once new presentation is made to Mopix (using Ji Young) he approves – but wants YS reinstated. Yeah!
F**k – PY finds the contract. They meet up and cliffhanger: he guesses that she can see the future.
