this is soo unsatisfying. Se jin escaped her ruin unscathed once again, >(
Yep Se Jin is starting to lose her mind...slowly but surely. What a beautiful irony would it be if she ends up in the mental hospital her mom is so desperate to send HK's mom to. lol
Now I want to see Kang Tae Joon in the street and ruined. So he gets to taste the real flavour of that money and status he's willing to do anything for.
Let's give the biggest support and love to Nirvana. To all those haters who deliberately rated it 1 they can fuck…
lol How stupid and childish must you be to rate a drama 1 just because you want to bring its rating down...smh...As much as I disliked The Heirs it didn't even come to my mind to do smth like that. Ah ah ah NIF topped over 1 liter of tears and that's when people started getting mad. lol
This drama should be only about kimsang min - yoon tae and five children. Why they waste so much time on useless…
Yeah I do the same as @Denky. Just skip unnecessary scenes. I don't even know what's going on with the second brother. Just hinted the girl's new "condition" lol.
I only watch the kids, their parents and golfer couple YAY! lol
Please, can someone tell me if the romance is strong or if the story of general is stronger?
I have an overdose of romance dramas, and worst with love triangles, so I would like to enjoy smth with light or no romance. I loved nirvana in fire...is it similar? (quality, story wise).
J-dramas are usually not my favorites but I do give them credit for one thing: variety. It's so refreshing to know you can watch other plots, stories and characters than the eternally recycled ones in K, C and T dramas. J-dramas have something special you won't find anywhere else. Just like lakorns...there's just a thing/feel you'll only find with them.
Why do Chinese dramas always put the entire drama into the credits?
But is it really a spoiler though? Did you notice the scene is never really like what you imagined from the credits or intro? It always gets me... so now I see it as trolling more than anything. lol
I think the best friend's boyfriend is the masked evil guy that wants to be immortal. He seems so fishy lol.
So far I like it, it's entertaining. Chinese romance-comedies are high on the comedic side.
I read most of the comments. It seems everyone agrees its overhyped. My question is, why is it even a 9.0? MDL…
The problem is not the rating but its meaning and how you understand it. You can't just look at the figure.
I think you need to look at how many people rated, the distribution of ratings, and how old the drama is.
So many dramas are rated 9 by 1 user, rated 10 before release (lol), get average rate because a few gave extremely low ratings, etc.
A good indication that a drama might be good is it's old (more people got a chance to watch it), rated by huge amount of users (very popular) that tend to give it high ratings (high percentage of viewers who decided to rate enjoyed it).
I think it's over-hyped.I had high expectations because of the hype but was disappointed, so I didn't really like it. I thought it was an awesome story with good romance but it was a good romance with good cheesy scenes. lol However I don't think it was bad. If you're in for romance with lots of mushy stuff and moe moe atmosphere you might really like it.
One good thing I noticed is the simplicity of the love story, not over dramatized with usual eternally recycled tension builders: third party interference, illness, noble idiocy , obsessive ex, etc. Just two people developing strong feelings. One bad thing I really didn't like is the idealization of soldier and doctor professions, I always found people from the two lack humility.
More often than not dramas are popular because actors are popular, or look good, or story is fan service, or visual quality is good or marketing is ferocious...rather than strength of story or quality of acting.Even I have top favorites I know damn well to be wack because too superficial. So I'm not really bothered by the hype, just think the drama is less than what it is said to be.

The best revenge drama I've seen remains Nirvana in fire though (Chinese).
