I don`t really remember why i picked Tears in Heaven to watch, especially since i rarely watch chinese dramas. Must have been because of some intriguing videos on youtube and the alluring storyline that is a great potential of emotional angst i just craved. I have read great stuff about the novel this drama is adapted from, i made a research about the author Fei Wo Si Cun who is literally FAMOUS for her many angsty romances that got adapted into dramas like one of my favourites "Siege in Fog".

Watching the drama with its beautiful OST and memorable characters was a treat and the first 20 episodes were great. I loved the slow burn but intense love-story between Du Xiaosu & Lei Yuzheng. How they actually bonded because of their love for Zhen Rong who died so tragically. I feel like the main plot and focus was lost after Yuzheng got into jail in ep 21. I knew the writers shied away from the heavy angst that was in the novel and how deeply twisted and toxic main-leads relationship actually was, and how sad it actually became (as i have read some spoilers of the novel) but the saving grace was somehow the redemption of a villanious greedy character Lin Xiang Yuan who i actually came to ship with Fan Lu. They literally felt like a old couple still in love. This drama could have been sooooo much better without all the business politics and investigation that dominated for the entire other half od this drama. Felt like i was wasting so much time watching it. But i am glad i finished it. I think i will always remember Tears in Heaven for the melancholic and sad feeling it could give me sometimes.

I cannot believe i finished this whole lakhorn with my younger sister-THIS LAKHORN of all the lakhorns i could have watched. Never actually in my plan since i have lots of other lakhorns on my to-watch list. Don`t get me wrong.I enjoyed it.
Yada Narilya is a stunning talent actress that conveyed the complex anti-heroine Saiparn so well she simply blew my mind away with her charismatic on-screen presence. This is one of the rare cases (in lakhorn) i found the male lead so lacking and unappealing. His character was so weak minded, selfish and wishy washy and STUPID. I wanted to cry when i reaized he was supposed to be male lead after a few episodes, i still had hope for him to have a great personality to match the female lead, alas i was sooooo disappointed. She looked much better with Napat. Male lead was so useless in this one.Aghhhh i am so mad about that cuz she deserved THE BEST!!

There are many more detailed reviews of this crazy, trainwrecky lakhorn so i won`t write much. It was entertaining despite the lacking romance (with a lacking ML) but our beautiful anti-heroine makes it all up with her redemption arc, her character developement. She is wonderful, and can never do wrong in my eyes.

"You are not the only one who thinks i am heartless, i thought so as well. Until i met you". -Phubodee

***
"Buang Ruk Gamathep" has been such a entertaining journey throughout all the 28 episodes. Its about Cupid`s magic, all the characters meeting together in a conflict so great we get a star-crossed lovers forbidden to love each other and the fruit of their love in the form of a child that will make enemies become lovers. First we have the main-leads siblings tragic love-story, the passiontae Pawat (played by Setjinda) & gentle Oranee (played by Noon Daran). Pawat is one of the heirs to a powerful family empire and his mother refuses to let him be together with a woman from lower class status. Not caring however good of a person Oranee really is. So she sends for Pawat`s older, cynical alpha brother Phubodee (played by Pong Nawat) for him to ruin Pawat`s relationship with Oranee. Phubodee in this case gets very agitated when he meets Oranee`s spirited and feisty younger sister Ornicha (played by Bee Namthip) who never lets him get away with his snobbish and spiteful behaviour. Their spirits clash into a fire of hatred, both unable to stand the other. But this is Cupid leading the fate of all lovers...The Magic of Cupid.

This is a slap-kiss romance that highly delivered and the cast did such a great job. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Bee & Pong, i mean wow...on-screen they look absolutely beautiful together.I love their cat-mouse game, how stubborn both were and how they never gave up without a fight. Phubodee is the villain in first part of the story, since he is mostly the cause of breaking up his younger brothers relationship with Oranee and he did it in such a despicable way i had such a hard time forgiving him for it. The tragic conclusion to it all, just so darn sad. I was really shipping Oranee & Pawat...Pawat was such a strong male character which come as a total surprise to me since most of the lakhorns i watch have the younger brother always being a weakling. Pawat was a breath of fresh air, he stood up against everyone for his love, his older brother, his mother...everyone!

This movie is pure ENTERTAINMENT itself! Having this dark, messy and kinda gothic vibe to it with great music and action sequences blended together. It speaks of leadership, a man`s honor and newfound friendships to treasure. Oguri Shun is literally my child-hood crush since i watched him in the "Hana Yori Dango" series, "Hana Kimi" and "Gokusen" series. He is so charismatic in all his roles. A terrific actor and gave a great performance as the badass and ambitious Genji Takiya.

The rest of the cast did amazing job as well. I am excited for the sequel!

This drama was so surprisingly romantic and funny. Love the music, story and the whole cast did such a great job. This is also my first time watching Namfah & August on-screen and they did a nice job in portraying their characters. Lomdao is the heroine who disguises herself as Fai Dam (Black Mole) and moves into Param`s house as his cook to get to know his family better since she have heard negative rumours and she is engaged to him. I love the hate-love relationship between Dao & Param and that Param knew early on in the story that Dao and Fai Dam are the same person. Them bickering and teasing each other made for a lot of comic and romantic moments. Always sparks between them. That ending epiluge was also so cute and romantic!

This story also reminds me of "Punya Chon Kon Krua" starring Mark & Kimberly with how the FL also disguised herself and how the ML was suspicious of her from the start.

"The King's Affection" is a historical romance drama that managed to win my affection. I came to admire and adore the main-characters and the supporting characters. The first two episodes were really strong and the latter 10 episodes managed to keep my interest going but i had to put it on-hold after ep 14 because things were really dragging after that and the writing was nowhere superior to how it was in the earlier episodes. But i picked it up again after a few months and finished the last episodes on Netflix. It has all the tropes i love but didn`t manage to make a perfect story out of it but it was good anyway. Yeon Seon is a admirable heroine who was a victim in this whole story that get forced to take on her dead twin-brothers throne. I just adore her two servants who always stood by her side and protected her. Then we have the absolutely fearless but vulnerable hero Jung who stood for what is right. He couldn`t accept nor condone what his father had done and what he stands for. It really took a toll on him mentally while growing up but he still stayed strong in his beliefs and managed to grow up into such a great man- deserving of our beloved heroine Yeon Seon. I love how he dearly comes to love her while still thinking she is a Male Prince. He loved her when he was a boy and he falls in love with her again as a man. I rooted for Jung and Yeon Seon with all my heart, wishing their happy ever after.

I actually had this lakhorn on-hold several months ago but decided to pick it up and finally finish it.So i started to watch it all over just to remember some details."Kha Khong Khon " stars the veteran actors Pong Nawat and Nune Woranuch. Both played their characters very well, watching Pong portray the arrogant alpha-male Lak who deeply distrusts all women but despite his cynicism falls head over heels with the dancer Gluay who is portrayed by Nune. Gluay has three men that are in love with her over the course of the story, but the only one who captures her heart will be Lak, ever possessive and crazy about her. So much that he refused to give up on their marriage, refused to let go of her since he took such pride in claiming her in front of everyone. The first 6 or 7 episodes were going strong with Lak and Gluay arguing bitterly against each other all the time, while neither could ignore the attraction (who am i kiddin, think they argued until ep 14 or 15).Especially Lak who was drawn to her even from episode 1. The drama added up in every episode and it was entertaining all the way through. So much happens, but i am glad i watched it. Pong is such a handsome actor who create awesome angst in his character and he have such great chemistry with all his co-stars. Loved every scene together with him and Nune. I am also curious to check out the older versions.

If i would EVER want to re-watch this drama, then it would solely be for the early intense scenes between Nabi and Kawin. There is a investigation going on by our main-leads.Kawin is trying to figure out the truth of his mother`s death and Nabi is trying to find her older sister, both Nabi and Kawin are separated lovers, too deeply hurt and angry at each other to even have one normal conversation.Kawin started off in the drama as a really angry, arrogant and shameless hero bent on revenge towards Nabi and even more bitterly hateful towards his father who he also thinks was the cause of his mothers death...but throughout the drama he becomes almost broken...and a very much humble man. Nabi has her own struggles to go through in her quest for finding her sister...and how tragic even that turns out to be.

"My Brother Loves Me Too Much" is the sequel movie to the proluge mini-series and should be watched after watching the mini-series. It is about the dreamy and romantic love-starved Setoka who finds herself being surrounded by hot guys who wants to woo her,and mids of it all there is her older brother Haruka...always protecting and cherishing her from the shadows.

This is a re-watch,and darn how i enjoyed it! It is stupidly cringy at times...but the chemistry and relationship between Setoka and Haruka really makes up for it.I just love them in every scene together.Haruka`s endless love for Setoka is beautiful...always guarding her and loving her secretly!Ahhhh...i love romance!

"Daytime Shooting Star" is a story filled with youth, life, friendships and the power of first love and unrequited love. Suzume is a country girl with nothing but joy and love inside of herself and she so selflessly gave to others. She won over other people by her goodness, even the evil supporting female character couldn`t stay evil for long since she got so charmed by Suzume`s innocence and goodness. I totally adored her!

I love the directing and the production of this film even if the plot itself wasn`t that original. But the most important thing is that it delivered well and i ended up liking all the characters.Especially a certain golden-hearted Mamura who Suzume befriends.

I remember when "Muean Khon La Fark Fah" aired the year "Kluen Cheewit" also aired in 2017 and i never thought i would watch it until i became obsessed with Andrew Gregson who portrays the rich and lonely business tycoon Chat Waritsaluk who gets enraged when his father marries a woman he considers a gold-digger and he immediatly detests his new step-sister,the bright and lively Yothaka portrayed by Matt Peeranee. But warm feelings starts to erupt between the two,and despite them being different as fire and water they irresistibly fall in love with each other.

I enjoyed this journey of romantic angst, the first 7 episodes are the best in my case since it highly show-cased the journey of Yo and Chat falling in love and dealing with their passion for each other.Andy and Matt are both terrific performers, and together they also had great chemistry! It was also fun seeing Vicky and Not co-star since i have also watched them in "Jai Rao" as supporting characters. Mint Nutwara has gotten better in acting and it was quite seeing her in some scenes with Andy since they co-starred as love-interests in "Kehas See Dang". I absolutely loved Yo`s loyal friends Same and Jane-they were hilarious! Andy is so good at acting that he makes every character he ever played his own. When he smiles or cries it always impact my heart. This is a great lakhorn that got quite dramatic at times, but it was romantic and exciting nonethless.

"Close Range Love" have been on my to-watch list for years and i finally found time to sit down and watch it. Its a romantic drama about the introvert Kururugi Yuni who falls in love with her charming english teacher Sakurai Haruka. I am much used to the basic cheesy storylines since many of j-dramas and j-movies are based on mangas. I found this movie to be rather adorable but i would not like to re-watch it. I find Komatsu Nana a very stunning actress and she acts so well with her eyes and conveys emotions rather well despite playing such a stoic character like Yuni.

I haven`t had this much fun in a while!"Ruk Kerd Nai Tarad Sod" from 2001 (which means:"Love Is In The Market") is a romantic comedy that stars the beloved stars Andrew Gregson and Aom Piyada as the star-crossed lovers Tong and Gim Lung.Together with a colorful cast this lakhorn presents how a life in the fresh market works out and what needs to be done to make it better for both customers and sellers.Tong is a bold, cheeky and energetic young vegetable seller who challenges the usual customs of greed, selfishness and carelessness of the sellers and teaches that you can do good without expecting anything in return. He also teaches the other sellers how to gain knowledge about their products and how to sell it in a healthier way to the customers.Meanwhile he falls for the fish seller Gim Lung who has her stall across from his but their love has many obstacles as Gim Lung`s mother hates him with her every being...and there is another problem where every other girl wants to possess Tong for themselves.

This lakhorn is pure entertainment and joy from start to the end.Andrew Gregson amazes me in everything he does on-screen and he totally nailed the role of Tong.I have never seen him play such a goofy character. He brought out both the bold carefree gesture of Tong while also showing off his sensitive side so well.Andrew made Tong freaking adorable! It makes it even better with how handsome of a actor Andrew is!I love him so much!I am also a great fan of Aom,she is so beautiful and acts so well on-screen and her chemsitry with Andrew was wonderful!I love how they go from staring at each other to actually talking and then writing letters to each other. Both could be so shy with each other,so cute!On the front, there is not that much romance although its central to the story. But it didn`t take away my enjoyment of it since this is a really well done lakhorn in acting, directing and writing.I love all the other cast also.Tong`s friends Luen and Bang are both so funny!Love every scene with them! The moments with Tong arguing with Gim Lung`s mother was HILARIOUS!Never could stop laughing when Tong was provocing her all the time! I also enjoyed the moments with Hong and Ting, their fun bickering and conversations.Everything was hilarious and over the top sometimes, but it was entertaining nonethless. No wonder this became a hit by the time it aired,i will miss all the characters so much!

I wonder if i am to nice on this lakhorn."Roy Lae Sanae Luang" is one of the most beloved slap-kiss lakhorns, and has a trope very similar to another slap-kiss with the name "Ra Rerng Fai" that was done A LOT better. This also is my first time watching Weir and Mai on-screen,and i will say that Mai totally entranced me with her beauty and talent.I will look out for more lakhorns with her.

The main-hero Krao Supagan`s mother got raped and blackmailed by main-heroines father.Unable to handle the shame,Krao`s mother commited suicide. I understand Krao`s bitter resentment and hatred towards the Vichawayt family. They stand for everything that broke his family apart. He grows up in the heights of the business World, and ruthlessly plans ways for the Vichawayts destruction. He is able to use every method:seduction, deception, blackmail, kidnapping, forced marriage and forced kissess...he does it all!

Krao Supagan (played by Weir Sukollawat Kanarot) and Nuch Vichawayt (played by Mai Davika Hoorne) have a very turbulent relationship through and hated to love each other.Sadly this lakhorn was better the first eight episodes and then it started to go downhill, and i really suffered in the rest of it.Its badly written, very repetitive with much unnecessary OTT scenes. The problem may be that i have watched too many lakhorns, and done this too many times to be impressed.

By the way,i really liked the devotion and loyalty Chaitong had for his affection over Nuch in all 18 episodes (it was clear that Nuch would reject him) and then the writers make him fall for his Child-hood friend near the absolute end, just WTF???I didn`t Believe in any of it.
