This drama based on the manga has have many adaptions of it, but i still believe that this one is the best, starred the popular actors Koyuki (seen her in "The Last Sauraj" opposite Tom Cruise) and one of my favourite Asian actors Jun Matsumoto- they both give incredible performances as this drama explains the relationship between a human and pet. The Main-hero has to suffer a painful unrequited love as a human pet to his savior and owner, the Main-heroine. It`s really charming and funny, and the main-leads had so much angst going on that i sometimes shed some tears. But the HEA is still sweet to watch!

Originally published on a popular cell phone site, "Koizora" has captured millions of hearts around the world with it`s heart-breaking Love-Story. I watched this drama and was hooked from the start. Mika is a sweet girl who goes through happiness and later on hardships throughout high-school. The innocent shelter around her disappears when she captures the heart of Hiro, a rough popular guy who stands out with his bleached hair. But his Golden Heart is what captured me as it captured Mika. His characterization are most put out in this drama than it did in the movie or the manga (i haven`t read the original novel) which is also why i love this drama adaption more.

The other adaptions are simply terrible for me. In this drama he is extremely possessive and protective of Mika, even willing to go as far as killing another person for her. He is simply one of my favourite on-television heroes ever, and Mika with her passion and strength i simply adored her. Mika and Hiro together joins into a journey where they experience the most truth in pain, passion, jealousy, and the beauty of love. It has its drama and angst, and the ending made me cry rivers...so much like never before. I love Mika and Hiro so much, and their pure undying love totally undid me.!

"Summer`s Desire" is a blessing in my life that i will never forget.I was 12 years old when i first watched it with my little-sister,and i have re-watched it once a year since then.
It`s a very powerful romantic drama, despite not having "that much" romance in it.It revolves around three people. One woman and two men who loves her. This drama is based on a novel and also has a manga adaption by Ming Xiao Xi who also have put out some quotes in the every start of every episodes of the drama. Its deepful meanings about love and relationships. It also shows that every episode resembles a greater meaning behind it.

Yin Xia Mo (played by Barbie Hsu) is the FL,a heroine who resembles like no other. She is not the supernaive and sacrificial character, nor is she a bratty snob. She has such patience for life that it shatters you, because life has given her none of that.Strength and bravery lies in her heart, and the deep need to survive in a hypocritical world where she trusts nobody. Her younger half-brother is a link that sways her away from madness, and the one soul she loves the most. For him she is ready to kill anyone who harms him ,and even accept punishment that serves her in jail. She is considered to be cold-hearted and manipulative by the people around her,but deep inside her heart she is just longing for happiness. We as viewers just have to applaud over her courage for that.

Luo Xi (played by Huang Xiaoming) is the charismatic devil-like orphan who also has manipulative and selfish characteristics like Xia Mo,especially for survival. He is cynical, sarcastic and two-faced from the start, just to not let anyone near him,and for him to not let himself care. That falls apart when he gets to know his foster-sister Xia Mo,and falls madly and unhappily in love with her.He is a tortured soul whose mother abandoned him in a amusement park, that grave betrayal has scarred him for life, until he loses his heart to Xia Mo.He can be considered as a tragic hero for many, but for me he is a tortured soul that (just like Xia Mo) earns for happiness, and he is brave enough to follow it.

The greatest reason i always re-watch this drama is because of Peter Ho`s portrayal of the eccentric, mighty alpha-male of a tycoon Ou Chen who has lived a lonely and cold life as long as he can remember. As a young teenager he befriends and falls in love with Xia Mo,but his possessive and controlling nature creates a strain in their relationship later in High-School.I love that Ou Chen never wavered in his love for Xia Mo,even when he suffered amnesia his heart still longed for Xia Mo.His love for her was his ruin...and his cure.He loved her so much that he couldn`t live without her.Nothing meant anything without her.I love him so much.He shines through every scenes, and has the brooding irresistible quality about him...and every time he looked at Xia Mo,my stomach just tickled like crazy. His love for Xia Mo was so powerful that it could easily destroy him.He is the Anti-hero you can`t help but love, and he lets nothing stand in his way in his pursuit of his beloved Xia Mo.Peter Ho should have got an Oscar for his performance, this man really fascinated me!!!

One of the very typical aspects of a Thai Lakhorn are the female antagonists that does everything to make the FM`s life miserable. They are called "Nang Rai". The FM in this lakhorn works as a actress with the Nang Rai roles, and are the most famous Nang Rai in the entertainment industry whose adoptive mother dies early in the story. Her name is Pimchanok, and she only entered into showbiz to find her long lost sister Nam..who she soon finds out got killed near a abandoned pond. The murderer knows Pimchanok are investigating Nam`s death together with her manager and gay side-kick Jae...and sends out threats to stop her. Our handsome ML, the efficient lieutenant Natee has to step forward to become her bodyguard.

Characters:

Kimberly Ann Voltemas are known for her sassy and bratty roles as a rich heiress Nangek roles (like in "Rang Prattana" and "Buang Hong") and i can honestly say no one could have done better the portrayal of Pimchanok better than her.Kimmy shows Pim`s spirit and stubborness through her cold manevours, and her vulnerability and longing through her soul-ful eyes and tears, and does find deep emotional dvelopement througout this story. She is a brave and noble heroine that are willing to risk her own life to find justice for the people she loves. And i totally loved the clothes she wore as Pim.

Boy Pakorn (i also love him in "4 Hearts behind the Mountains") gives out his harder and more serious side in his portrayal of Lieutenant Natee, who against his will have to become Pim`s bodyguard. His work is his life, and together with his more carefree cousin Tiger,he never hesitates to take on dangerous missions to save people. We watch him change through his love for Pim,and being the first man who stands up against her bitchiness,he is also the one who always have to save her ass when she brings trouble to herself.

Not Vorarit plays the loyal gay-side-kick in the character of Jae Charlee who supports Pimchanok on every nail and tooth. He is the funny and flirty male-friend everyone wish for,and i just loved his sassyness and humor. He is 10 times more girly than Pim ever was,and i love how Natee and Tiger was joke-threatening to scare him off his gay-flirting,haha!

The veteran actress Yardthip Rachapol plays the gentle but mysterious co-star of Pim,Nethkamon who does appear to be nice and proper from the start. She falls in love with Natee after he saves her,but knowing that Natee and Pim love each other, she suffers from unrequited love.

The paranormal element comes with the ghost of Nam played by Belle Nanthikarn who grew up with Pim together in the orphanage but gets adopted earlier than Pim,therefore they got separated. She is the most pitiful and tragic character in the whole story, and becomes a guide in her ghost-form for Pim to find the real culprit. She is said to have been loved and wanted by many men during her life, among them Danai and Pipat, but according to my opinion she had only been the release of their lust. They never did anything to protect and cherish her,and never sought out any revenge or justice for her murder...so much for their "love".I can feel for Pim`s pain in losing her only sister and friend she ever had.I do feel for the loss of Nam`s tragic fate. She had suffered so much in life.

Romance:

Boy and Kimmy have amazing chemistry on-screen,and delivered the dynamics well between Pim and Natee. We love how they fight, bicker and kiss. Together with the supporting character,we root for this couple from the start. The second lead romance are between Tiger and Orn-they were so cute! I just love their natural friends-to-lovers romance. I can also hope that Jae will find his soulmate soon....he damn well deserves it!

Revenge, hatred and love all comes together in this new highly popular lakhorn starring Pon Nawasch as the hot-tempered and handsome rich boy Peat and Bua Wansiri (also seen her in "Kluen Cheewit") as the gentle and lively Kangsadan. These two soulmates gets to endure the harshness and unfairness from their parents past, and with twists and turns Peat still with a fierceness loves Kangsadan the same. The greatest twist is the one that determines the end, and it will be when he re-creates the past again through betrayal and trickery that Peat will once and for all lay his own heart down for the world- and finally realize the truth in it. He is the force and stimulates this story, and Kangsadan is the woman who dares to love him. All is fair in love and hate, and the chemistry between the main-leads is the HIGH LIGHT in this story. It`s intense but beautiful, bittersweet but pure. There was at times in the start of this lakhorn that i had this coming-of-age feel to it due to the main characters still studying in school, which was interesting for me. I finished this lakhorn in only two days, and will probably re-watch it later on, that good it is (smile). With great talented actors, explosive chemistry, drama, crazyness, slap-kiss, romance...and of course Everlasting Love.."Trabab See Chompoo" is a lakhorn i very much recommend!

I have finally found the time to review this Film, since i watched it a week ago! "Brother of the Year" from 2018 starring Sunny Suwanmetanon, Urassaya Sperbund and Nich Khun Horvejkul is a heartwarming comedy mixed with romance. Its color-ful and rich...and it gives out excellent directing and acting. There is sadly not that many movies today at all that presents the relationship between siblings...the connection you actually never can take away. Its with you until you die. You can lose a friend, you can break up with your boyfriend and you can divorce your husband...but a sibling is for life whether you like it or not. Yaya has wonderful chemistry with everyone she acts with, and her collaboration with Sunny is remarkable, as their characters Jane and Chut are siblings who fight and considers each other rivals, while secretly looks upon each other. Their connection is in that they know each other to the core, and aren`t afraid to take off their masks to show the naked pain in having to deny each other the support they want to give due to pride and bitterness.

This movie made me laugh my tears off and laugh my ass off. I loved every minute of it, and i consider Yaya and Sunny the true stars of this movie. Their portrayal as the siblings Jane and Chut has everything you would dream of, and me having a brother i also would like to kill sometimes (kiddin about the killin, but he does drive me mad) i actually could symphatize with Jane. You can also hear Yaya talk japanese many times, and watch her with a big pregnant belly! Go For It Yaya!

What a powerful experience it can get, when you watch Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom co-star on-screen! Together with their sizzling chemistry, both of these create MAGIC together- with every word, glance and touch! "365 Wun Haeng Rak" from 2010 is Anne and Ken`s 5:th lakhorn together, and sadly to say..their last one also as a on-screen couple together. Interwining all their previous experiences together and individually, they were the perfect couple to portray a very much in love married couple. If you guys want real hot kissess my friends, this is the deal baby! You will see smoochies in every episode and get swooned by it so much that your heart will hurt of all the FIN-moments (love-scenes) these two have together. Ken plays a very good-hearted but somehow stiff lawyer with the name Toon. He may not be the intense and thunderous Kawee in "Sawan Biang" but Toon is a man who against his very nature does fight for his wife`s love in ways we wouldn`t imagine. Romance is not in his personality, but despite it we see him showing so much loving care and sweetness towards his wife Lan. Anne plays the very impulsive and passionate Lan, who falls in love with Toon at first sight. Her attempts at fighting for her husband are hilarious, and the fact that it was her who proposed marriage to Toon was such a wonderful sight to watch! But being married isn`t always sunshine and flowers, and thats what both Toon and Lan realizes, as the communication and trust starts to fade away. Both of them have their faults, but its their unyelding and severe love between each other that always reunites them together. They are soulmates, and they simply can`t ever be happy without each other.

Despite also being a romantic family comedy, there is also elements of paranormal in terms of time travel through dreams. The cast is a bonus on this whole lakhorn. No scene is unwanted for me (except for the crazy females that always chases Toon) and no boring or unnecessary scenes! Everyone are hilarious especially Lan and her mother played by Tuk. Friends and Family are all there to support Toon`s and Lan`s marriage, come in to this world and root for them too in 365 Days of Love, because i highly recommend it!

He is THAT special man no one can tame

and she is THE special woman who will change him...through the power of love.

If you guys haven`t watched "Sawan Biang", then i have no idea whatever you have been doing all your life. I just finished re-watching it today, and i am just crying of joy all over again! It`s a train-wreck and it never gets boring. Having raw slap-kiss in it the story presents revenge, family, jealousy, forgiveness,redemption..and least of all the power of love.

This is a classic and have been adapted many times, but the version from 2008 starring the legendary nr:1 koo-jin at that time (in this generation NY is the nr:1 koo-jin) Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom is the most famous and highest rated and had won many awards at that time. Until now no one ever forgets the dynamic performance of Ken, as the selfish and arrogant billionare heir Kawee. Kawee is a hate-ful character who rages a war against the world and his father, who always re-marries women, which Kawee hates.Kawee is so full of himself that he thinks that every woman in the world should consider herself lucky even breathing the same air as him (trust me,he is THAT pompous). In to his world comes the first woman who has ever defied him, the gentle but very stubborn florist Narin (played by Anne). Kawee despises her directly for being "arrogant" enough with her stabbing insults and that she is the younger sister of Leela, the girl who practically stalked him in school years ago. And Narin is disgusted by the brutally and humilating way he rejected Leela in public which caused her also to almost die in a car-accident.It doesn`t get better when Kawee gets furious with a murder-like sense when he gets to know that Leela is going to marry his now widowed father, and on that point the bitter and raging war starts between Kawee and Leela, with Narin being the thread between them.

But we watchers see the spark between Kawee and Narin from the start, its quick but its there, and from then on we will watch the self-important Kawee fall in love (against his will) with the beautiful Narin, seeing the goodness in her heart while he hurls all his terrible hatred of revenge for Leela on Narin is painful, as Anne plays the victim very well in Narin through the heart-breaking tears. There is no male-hero more mean than Kawee in the history of lakhorns. He is can`t be called an Anti-hero, but he is a true Villian himself. He is not only cold-hearted, but he is heart-less and venoumus, nor is he only ruthless, but he is also barbaric. Ken is magnificent in his role as Kawee, the wicked expressions and stance of his and the dynamic way he presents himself...and in the thunderous way he destroys everything around him. He is a character i have called bastard (and ass-hole) so many times i have forgotten it, but he is irresistible with his animalistic male sexuality...and sympathetic with his tortured soul who lacked the love from a father he so desperately needed after his mother died.Trust me, you can`t take your eyes off him, he is THAT charismatic! Anne who always plays the cheerful spoiled heroine in many of her other lakhorns, is a woman whose soul gets battered by Kawee in this lakhorn as Narin. From the start she had a witty and confident character that refused to surrender to Kawee`s cruelty..or passion and love, and neither does she either (which i so admire her for) until the end.!

"Sawan Biang" is a soap-opera that gets you addicted to it.It is never an easy journey with the hate-love romance between Kawee and Narin, but its unforgettable and epic and brings very powerful performances from the whole main-cast.For me it has everything i love in a romance, passionate alpha-hero,mindblowing chemistry, love that starts with revenge, and an incredible love that is so painful, that i as a viewer cried my tears off. It´s heart-breaking and beautiful, and i recommend it to every Lakhorn Lover. The original title means actually "Heaven Diversion", and the cause of it is explained in this text:

"Love happening during revenge

is like heaven diverts his and her paths

to merge with each other."

-Krisna Asokesin (the author of the novel)

"Time Between Dog and Wolf" were kind of epic to watch and i hugged my pillow many times. This series is full of tensions, enemies, secrets, mysterys, questions, deaths, twisted fates and passionate characters ready to destroy everything for the ones they love.Lee Joon-gi,Sang-mi and Kyung-ho did great performances and played incredible characters. My favourite part is when Soo-hyun gets amnesia and becomes the arrogant badass Kay,gosh how i love the scenes between him and his boss daughter Ji-woo.

The first part in the U Prince Series are "The Handsome Cowboy",but in my opinion it should have been the "Cheating" or the "Horny" cowboy. Starring Put and Ester, they were a very cute couple and i enjoyed the series very much. The filmed places and the hero`s hometown were beautiful. Put are a actor i LOVE ever since i watched him as the arrogant but very besotted hero in "Roy leh sanae rai",his performance and charisma in there made him one of my favourite actors ever. His character as Sibtis in "The Handsome Cowboy" are a very complex one, as he is a type of Anti-hero in here. He loves no one but himself and are very sexist. Put also played a Anti-hero kind of role in "Roy leh sanae rai" as Kongpope, but the difference between Sibtis and Kongpope is that Kongpope never ONCE cheat on his heroine. He loves only his woman and he faithfully stays true to his heart, while Sibtis is a scoundrel in many horrible ways, and i disliked him incredibly. He both cheated on and betrayed his heroine and that disgusted me!He breaks his promise and betrays his heroine Prikkang all over again, even if she gave him second chance.I have never watched a lakhorn where the hero or heroine cheats on each other, and this is a first one.But Sibtis gets to grovel and suffer his mistakes and even gets ready to die for her where he takes two gun-shots for her. There i accepted her forgiveness, cuz he truly grew into a worthy man who deserves her,and they truly love each other passionately. Ester`s performance was incredible to my surprise as i have never watched her in other lakhorns. Ester and Put and the others in the cast did a great job with this one.!

One of the latest thai lakhorn i watched is "Full House",the popular adaption of the classical korean drama from 2004.I think this adaption of Full House 2014 are the most popular remake ever.I enjoyed this thai version very much, but i still love the korean version more,it may be because it`s the one i watched first or cuz it`s the original one.But many also love the thai version more.Like many lakhorns, this also involves love-triangle.It`s a really adorable love-story about strangers that develop a friendship that soon blooms to a love so strong that they can`t live without each other.Mike and Aom became a koo-jin after this drama and i understand exactly why.

"I think dying by your hands would be better than losing you and dying of heartache" - Ah Da Mo

I smiled, laughed, swooned, screamed and cried while watching "New Tales of Gisaeng". Wow, what a journey this has been. What a absolutely marvelous story of fate, family, sisterhood, pain, trauma and the teachings of life this brought to every character. But most of all, the central and epic love-story of our main-leads, they are star-crossed lovers Ah Da Mo & Dan Sa Ran portrayed by Soo-Hyang and Sung-Hoon. These two on-screen created fireworks, just gosh what a beautiful pair they are! It was long time coming for me to watch "New Tales of Gisaeng" since it has been recommended to me for some time now but i never came around to actually watching past 20 min of first ep in the past. I think the time was not right for me, i gave it another shot last week and decided that i firmly would finish 3 episodes and when i did i was stuck. I knew this was a drama i had to and would finish watching. It is a wonderful story that depicts the magic of fate and how it entangles characters in their lives. This drama has characters that makes you root for them and i grew so fond of everyone, even the elders. Then we have the romance that feeded my romantic heart, ah what a magical and electrfying chemistry our main-leads have!! The dialuge, the glances and the touches between them, just stop it!!!KYAAAA!!!

Sa Ran is unlike many of the heroines i have seen in other dramas. She is cold in the sense that you would outwardly think she is arrogant, but she uses it as a mechanism to not open herself up to anyone. She does not speak of whats in her heart and mind, and the awful loneliness that consumes her. She has this firm dignity and great love for dancing. She is beautiful and has such a beauty in her heart. No wonder our leading hero Ah Da Mo fell madly in love with her! Ah, i love the way they hated to love each other. Hardcore hate-love story this one, and i loved every damn bit of it!!

Ah Da Mo has such a compelling character developement throughout the drama. He is very arrogant, bitter and cynical at the start. He lives his life with the following flow, knowing his place and situation in following his fathers footsteps as an heir to their family company and knows what is expected of him. He is not a rebel, but he is angry at his father for neglecting him emotionally throughout his child-hood, and that he even regards the dog Andre more of a son than Da Mo is, which is a humiliation to Da Mo`s ego. He slowly changes when he gets to know the dancer his grandmother invites to his house, the beautiful Sa Ran who is incredibly attracted to at first sight. But due to a awful misunderstanding caused by Da Mo`s cynical views she insults and hurt his pride, which makes him in return pursue her for his selfish reasons in making her fall for him so hard she would throw herself at him. (sigh, these arrogant male heroes always dig their own graves) but he senses how incredibly he is softening towards her and gets frightened out of his wits when he suspects that he is growing feelings for her. And that my friends was his gravest mistake. He run away from his own heart and bitterly regretted the awful consequences because of it. Thank god he comes to his senses and does everything there on to make her forgive him...i love how he declared that he lost to her. That he would rather she kill him with her own hands, than him dying of heartache living apart from her.

I also need to mention how fond i became of second female lead Ra Ra who also was given such a wonderful developement in character from a spoiled and entitled princess into a strong, loving and caring young woman who tackled the harsh surprises life gave her. The actress protraying her Hye-rin gave such depth to her performance that you could not help but root for her happiness as well. I love that she found true love in her new friend and protecter, Kyle that teached english at the Gisaeng House. They are absolutely wonderful together, love the deep sense of trust and friendship and admiration both have for each other.

What a fine drama! "You are beautiful" followed a cult status in Korea after its weeks of airing, and even have its remakes after that. It has its hilarious moments and the music is so wonderful that my heart warmed by it. With its classic plot of a girl that has to pose as a boy due to reasons, and her falling for the male-lead during it.Shin-hye did a remarkable job playing as the innocent and gentle Mi-nyeo and even managed to pull of her twin-brother Minam in ep 15 so well that i crushed on him, haha! The arrogant male-lead and leader of the band A.N.Jell Hwang Tae-kyung was played by Jang Keun-suk who did a great job in showing the angst of a neglected son.I love the way he also adored Mi-nyeo, and the way he woos her without knowing. The others in the band (who also falls for Mi-nyeo) are the gentle Shin-woo and the bubbly Jeremy, no wonder many had second lead syndrome in this drama, because these guys are just golden!
