We all got very disappointed when the heroine in "School 2015" didn`t choose the love-interest we all preferred (he too was the son of the director). So in "School 2017" i was so delighted to know that the main-characters would end up together before watching it.Eun ho is a very different heroine who lives life as it gives you, and always stands up for herself and others.Being the daughter from a poor family who sells chickens, she is very determined to follow her dream of being a webtoon artist. In Geumdo High School we get into the lives of students who has to overcome the stress of being ranked by their exam grades, and facing the difficulties of being a teenager in a combative, corrupt system.A mysterious troublemaker in the school known as "Student X" rebells against their rules.(Soon enough we also get to know the true identity of X).The turbulent son of the director, Tae woon is a very self-centered bad boy who hides a great heart and deep scars, and will soon against his will find himself fallen under the spell of love when it comes to Eun ho. With all the sly schemes from the villians in the school,Tae woon and Eun ho will have to face obstacles in the war among them."School 2017" is a very lovely and enthralling story about friendship, loyalty, violence, rivalry, jealousy, justice, finding the courage of following your dreams, being brave enough to over-come your fears and the true wonder of first love. Tae woon and Eun ho is a couple that love each other with all their hearts, being partners in crime and friends to lovers, we all enjoy how the mighty Tae woon falls madly in love with Eun ho to the point of not caring about his pride. I love both of them so much that it ached in my heart in every scenes with them together, their chemistry are so natural and electric that i just swooned. You guys will love the way Tae woon stubbornly woos Eun ho, fighting for her heart. A drama that presents every aspects of life, and characters we all can relate to,"School 2017" is a drama you can`t miss!

I decided to watch the Original Version of "Leh Ratee" first!

"Yesterday you treated me nicely, but today you are slicing me with thousand knives. Why are you doing it? Do you want me to die?!" -Sak

***
I don`t know what came over me. I just wanted a quick popular slap-kiss lakhorn watch and i checked this title out and decided to immediatly check the original version out from 2004 since the lakhorns back then have something i strongly adhere to, i don`t know what it is quite, but i think the way stories were executed back then have this magic and how passionate they used to be. In "Leh Ratee" we have much to see, fateful lovers and all the obstacles and misunderstandings coming their way to separate them. Both are very strong headed individuals in their own way, especially our domineering devil prince Sak Sutthakorn who argues against everyone and never backs away from a challenge. He is a force to be reckoned with. Already cold-blooded enough, he becomes more ruthless than ever when he knows of his wife`s deceit. Like a formidable villain he is after the thief that stole money from his company, that man desperetaly tries to find a chance for safety when he knows he is to be doomed together with his family, so he mixes cards together one last time to find the card that will give him last hope- he gets one card: The Heart Queen.

He is instantly relieved, because he knows at that moment that Sak is destined for his stepdaughter, the sweet and innocent heroine Kate. Ah, i loved Sak`s furious face when he requested his awful proposition in selling Kate to him, to give him a heir. But Sak had indeed always been secretly attracted to the angelic heroine, they were destined to fall in love. They bicker, fight and challenge each other, but we have so many sweet moments between them were they connect and try to understand each other. Sak will have to learn to trust his heroine, his future wife. What a lovely story in its core, such a beautiful romantic story. The OST and the romantic heartbreaking themes made my heart burn! I am so glad i watched it, got me binge watching three days in a row. Pepper & Ann in my opinion have wonderful chemistry, so much sparks in their every scene, this is such a underrated classic.

I am glad i started watching this after all the hype when i saw it on Netflix. I got hooked instantly and fell in love with the main-leads and the whole cast. Its a light hearted rom-com with wonderful leads that carries this show. Tae Moo is a full of himself but cold business man that gets forced into blind dates by his grandfather. He never expects to meet the lovely and carefree Shin Ha Ri who is in disguise of her bestfriend. And he does eventually fall madly in love with her and pursues her so wonderfully, stubbornly fighting for her heart. It was just soooooo lovely. I love him. Underneath the cold businessman was a caring and gentle soul.

I also love his grandfather by the way, ahh that man made me crack up a lot of times with the way he was so invested in the romantic soap operas he was watching. Shin Ha Ri is a lovely fun heroine that lighted up the screen, i have seen this actress in "School 2017" and i just love her screen presence so much. She had great chemistry with her male lead.

Again, i am glad i picked this up. Made my days much funnier and bright.

Watch this one for the main-leads!

Chen Fang Tong & Dai Gao Zheng totally fired up the screen in "Maid`s Revenge" so i have been unable to forget these two for a long while. I was so excited when i got to know they would star in a new drama together. "Forever Love" is a contemporary romance with business intrigues and politics. We have investigations going on, combat scenes and betrayals. But the fiery chemistry between the main-leads totally made this worth the watch, i binge watched it in one day. Dai Gao Zheng is absolutely gorgeous as the bodyguard Qin Mo Yao and i loved how absolutely besotted he is with Tong. Their love-scenes made me absolutely warm all over. Ahhhh how i hope for more dramas with both of them steaming up the screen again!!

A passionate love-story set in the quiet wildness of the desert.

"Remember, from this moment on you will call for my warmth and the taste of my kissess forever. If on a day or night i don`t come to you, you will feel the torment of death"- Karim Abdullah

***
At the start of this story there is a young prince riding along the sands of the desert in the arabian Quhar, he is always waiting while looking over at quietness and mystery of the desert...always waiting. As a man many years later he runs along the desert with anguished sobs and cries out to the desert and the Gods why his heroine won`t accept him as a man. This prince is Karim Abdullah (portrayed by Willie McIntosh) , his name has the meaning of "honorable and "generous". He is the hero of this story. Born into a arabian kingdom as a half-breed, as a orphan and with a aunt and cousin that detests the sight of him. He loves his beloved uncle Hassan who introduces him to his step-daughter, our very sharp but beautiful heroine Danielle (portrayed by Mew Lalita), her name embodies beauty, intellect, and defiance and she stays true to her character throughout. But she is afraid of the one man bold and dynamic enough to steal her breath away with just one glance. But she will deny him marriage and defy his heart and run away from him...not realizing that she is only running from her own heart.

This is one powerful story of a lakhorn. This story and its characters just gripped me. I am in absolute awe. Ah, it was so romantic and hella exciting and absolutely stunning of a picture!! Willie as the arabian prince Karim Abdullah totally stole my heart and his love for Danielle just made me cry everytime she denied him and tried to hurt him. She did not trust him, especially since there were many side characters that lied about him to her and wrote him off as a terrible monster. At least Karim made her realize for herself what a man he is and yesss yess girl your man is sexy as heck!!! He was so passionate i had to fan my face all the time.LOL. This lakhorn is also based on a Harlequin Presents Romance novel written by Penny Jordan with the title "Daughter of Hassan" which i find awesome since its one of my favourite authors. Mew Lalita was absolutely stunning as the heroine Danielle and omg her outfits blew my mind away! She was so much in her feminime aura that even i fell for her! I give this lakhorn 10/10 and i feel so lucky that i found it with eng subs! This is a lakhorn not to be missed and i lost sleep over this one for three whole nights! This was one hell of a journey, i will miss Karim & Danielle so much!

Oh my god.

Where to start off with this lakhorn?
It is a trainwreck, a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. We have a Anti-hero named Pummared (played by Pong Nawat) that is handsome, arrogant, clever, manipulative and so seductive that he is able to catch the heart of three sisters. His game of deception and seduction for his quest for revenge is a highly addictive journey-because you keep wait for the axe to fall. For him to break apart and realize that it is him who has been deceieved all along-his whole life. He was groomed for this plan of revenge, it was all he knew. All he thought he was destined for. And it was all a lie. He ruined the life of three innocent sisters for a lie.

Between the three sisters, it is the middle sister Noy (played by Pimmada Boriruk) that cathes him by surprise. He finds himself unwillingly falling for her sharp spirit and honesty and beauty. She knows his game and wants none of it. (there is a moment between them i find so darn romantic: its the nightscene with the fireflies, ahhhh) But at a moment of choice halfway through his journey he still chooses revenge...and that love gets lost to him forever. He marries the oldest sister and leaves her the first night-having taken all her shares of ownerships from her. He also made the youngest sister his secret mistress/wife and even made her pregnant. This is not only it people, this is a catastrophe of all hell dimensions, where every decision has its consuquences.

Pong Nawat at the early stage of his career was still finding his style in acting, and i feel like he did such a great job at portraying a flawed character like Pummared who knew no better than acting on revenge-and being cunning and heartless enough to do ANYTHING to get to his goal. His character is still so darn tragic in its essence. Its like the Frankenstein in some sense. He was groomed into thinking the way he does by his father, and when he still hesitated his father was there to manipulate and lie to him again. He was so torn, so darn broken. He knew it would ruin his life, that he never would be free. Ah, what a tragic hero he became. This story broke my heart.

"Fah Mee Tawan" (which means: The Sky has the Sun) is a story of betrayal, vengeance, gratitude, heartbreak and the power of love. It follows the very smart businessman Paul Yang who comes back to Thailand after many years and has taken on a secret identity to join the Crown Diamond company that originally belonged to his mother who was betrayed by his father. He is enraged and thirsty for revenge, a shadow that have followed him his whole life. The victims in his plan of revenge are his father who threw him and his mother away and abandoned them when he was a child- a traumatizing memory. The other victim is his fathers wife Net who he manipulates to get what he wants through charm and seduction...and lastly their adopted daughter Nainapha (Nai) who distrusts him the second he steps his foot into the Crown Diamond Company. Paul and Nai will have to deal with their differences and their undenyable attraction towards each other. My heart hurt for both characters. Their past kept on haunting them, and they only could find bliss and peace with each other. Their romance was such a strong and central part in this intense story and i managed to binge-watch this drama in three days just because i was so invested in their electric romance!

I absolutely loved the OST, especially "Because I Love You" whenever Nai and Paul were together. Ahhhh their chemistry is just so darn good! Their first kiss on the beach while it was raining almost killed me! The actor portraying Paul is such a sexy kisser!

"Hello, Love, Goodbye" is a filipino romantic drama film that stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. It is also directed by Cathy Garcia Molina (who also directed blockbuster movies like "She's Dating the Gangster" and "The Hows of Us").I mostly watched this movie because i am a great fan of Kathryn Bernardo as an actress, but i eventually fell in love with all the characters and the story-line and all the messages behind it.Not to mention how great the on-screen chemistry is between Kathryn and Alden,i mean my god how they really gave it all in their performances!!This movie is art itself and showcased that wonderfully being set in Hong Kong. You get to follow a young woman`s struggle in survival and trying to make a sense of her life while also following her dreams.Kathryn`s character Joy Marie is a fighter.Life keep throwing challenges at her and she always steps back up.Life also gives her the womanizing bartender Ethan Del Rosario, who in every means strive to make her love him.Ethan and Joy are both relatable characters in this harsh world. They are honest with each other through and through, support each other in everything and really raises each other up in their dreams, even if it means letting the other person go.I think this film is so deep and beautiful.I couldn`t help but cry watching it.So lucky i was able to watch it on Netflix.

"Everytime i look at the Moonlight throne, I see the person who ordered to kill my father sitting there. But he is the same person who made this whole land peaceful. For me, the matter of the country must be more important than the torment, the revenge and even the matter of the heart." -Teetayu

***

OH MY GOD! I never expected this lakhorn to wring out so many emotions from me."Mongkut Saeng Jun" (which means:"The Moonlight Crown") is a epic action romantic drama that revolves around the Moonlight Crown of Panjarat where the recent regent of the crown Konjanat will kill off both the queen and king to steal the throne for himself. He uses his fatherless nephew, the wild-hearted Teetayu (played by Andrew Gregson) and already from the start planned with him that he would make princess Sisira Sojirat Thisanamawadee (played by Rita Jensen) fall in love with him to secure the throne.Teetayu hates the royal family, especially the late king for killing his father and has no regrets over deceiving Sisira, but it becomes his own downfall when he realizes that he has sincerely loved Sisira all along. In all this chaos of betrayals, murder and greed we have the battle of wills between princess Sisira and Teetayu-learning to overcome their demons, surrendering to their love for each other and finally coming to terms with where their loyalty lies. It is a saga of honor, duty and love...every decision bad or good has its consequences.

This lakhorn starts out very strong and ended with a more clearer and strong message. Every 14 episodes of the lakhorn was worth it,and the magic between Andrew and Rita on-screen was so fiery that i longed for their every moment together.Rita`s portrayal of Princess Sisira is well done. She made me sympathisize with the character despite her not standing up for herself half of the time.I am more used to FL´s fighting their own battles, but Sisira`s trauma is simply to much to bear for her fragile mind. She lost both parents, her country is in turmoil and there are enemies everywhere. Then she has the love of her life Teetayu tormenting her in every way he can by forcefully marrying her because of his stubborness, revenge, pride and jealousy.Andrew Gregson is one of the best actors i have ever seen and he did such a darn good job portraying the wild and bitter Teetayu. He could be barbaric, rude and so illmannered that you just wanted to slap him.He had the countries absolute worst reputation and it didn`t get better when he was woking for the villain all along. But he has the soul and heart of a warrior deep rooted inside him.In there lay a honorable man.He couldn`t stand watching his uncle destroy the country and realized early on that loyalty and gratefullness for your country is more important than any other emotion. He is a fearless tiger ready to fight against his own blood for rightness. He is a hard man that gets slayed by his love for Sisira, even in the moments of hatred for her he still loved her desperately. The same goes for Sisira.Teetayu and Sisira met in the most wondrous circumstances and they manage to overcome all the obstacles between them in this hard journey.Every moment was worth it,and i got to cry and swoon and laugh together with them.

Then we have Teetayu`s three loyal musketeers.Damn how these guys were funny and how they stood by Teetayu`s side the whole time.We have the courtesan Jataree who loves Teetayu unhappily, but places his happiness above all else.I loved this badass woman! Then we have the cute elephants Teetayu used to talk with ,LOL.Those moments were so wonderful! Not Vorarit portrays Sisira`s bodyguard Manasing who gets his own character developement. He is the bodyguard who have loved the princess all his life, and it turns into a sick obsession that becomes his destruction. We have also the cold-blooded solder/killer Mayadin played by Big Sarut who will come to love Kanyapak until his last breath.I absolutely loved his character! He was so fascinating and merciless as a killer! Then we have the cause of much heartbreak, the evil selfish nang rai Kanyapak played by Joy Rinlanee who tried everything to possess Teetayu. This woman really scared me since she was capable of even murder for him.She is evil..but such a tragic character. We get high load of political intrigue, action, angst and romance to pleasure our eyes.Andrew and Rita did incredible job as a on-screen couple and with their portrayals of their characters.I will say that i have completely fallen for this drama and have no idea how to get over it.

"Kehas See Dang" (which means:"The Red Mansion") is a lakhorn that has been remade several times. The latest version stars the veteran actor Andrew Gregson as the socially awkward doctor Ruj Rujiroj who comes home after 15 years to the Red Mansion after his step-mother dies. The painful reminder of her shameful past makes Ruj despise his step-sister who he becomes legal guardian to,the lovely Araya played by Mint Nutwara. Tension arises every time they are in the same room and it becomes a strain for Araya to live in the Red Mansion she has lived in her whole life, especially since she can`t come to terms with his unresonable hate for her mother. Both are still undenyably attracted to each other and Ruj clearly can`t keep himself from falling for her over the course of time.We also have three nannies of Ruj`s and a loyal lawyer who wishes for Araya and Ruj to marry someday.

This lakhorn is so LOVELY! It was surprisingly nice watching Mint and Andrew co-star on-screen and Mint had much improved on her acting here.I have quite become obsessed with Andrew`s acting and his dynamic presence on-screen and he really did a remarkable job as Dr Ruj.The way he walked, watched, ate and talked fit the stoic character of Ruj perfectly!I was amazed since i a lot of times forgot that Andrew even portrayed him.We get introduced to lot of fun and romance in this story. The hate to love relationship between Ruj and Araya was so sweet and entertaining. It was so romantic watching Ruj fight for her to come back to him to the very end.He was so sweet in his declarations of love and told her that she is only his,not Charlie`s or Pakanai`s.Such a romantic and possessive praek,i adore him!We have another destructive Nang Rai in form of Sowwarot (played by Charm Irvin) who is Ruj`s ex-girlfriend that never knew what she really wanted but loads of money.I quite liked her close (but kinda toxic) relationship with her father,it was them together against the whole world. This lakhorn is nicely done and well executed. The Red Mansion had such beautiful nature around it.I really enjoyed the scene where Araya showed Ruj the Lotus Flower place on the river, such a beautiful place!

I have now finished watching all the three versions of the classic lakhorn "Roy Marn" about Bee who gets forced to take her cousins place as a bride against her most hated enemy Mark.I have reviewed all the other versions and its clear for me now that i actually loved the original 1990 version and 2011 versions much more. This version starring Pock Mittiraroch as Bee and Bandit Saokaew as Mark was very much likable and fun to watch, but it lacked the deep passion and longing in the other versions.Pock portrayed a great Bee but she wasn`t entertaining in the way Margie and Ben Pusit pulled it off in their versions.Bandit is a decent actor who makes a very gorgeous Mark, while Boy did a incredible job as Mark but for me Tua from the 1990 version is the original Mark.No one can pull of the character of Mark better than Tua.This version`s Mark was made more gentle and serious without all that arrogance the other versions of Mark has shown. One more interesting thing is that Mark and Bee fall much earlier for each other, even before Marks wedding to May.I also love how jealous Mark is every time Bee spends time with Athit. The actress who played May in the 1990 version plays her mother Vijatra in this version, also May is portrayed less evil in this version since she is very victimized due to the kidnapping and rape on her wedding day which was caused by the very obsessed Chansan. One negative thing more is that this version also focuses much on the relationship between Mark`s friend and the woman who got cheated by her husband together with the bitchy Wiyada and in my opinion their scenes were so boring and unnecessary.Bandit and Pock make a great couple together, only wished for more romantic scenes with them together instead of her always leaving him all the time which got them separated second half of the story.

We have all been used to angry and mean male-leads hell bent on revenge towards the poor innocent female-leads throughout many epic slap-kiss lakhorns. In "Ruk Ter Yord Ruk" (which means:"Love You To The Tip of Love") the tables have turned where we have the fiery heroine Amwika (played by Pat Napapa) who gets heartbroken with grief over her pregnant sisters suicide death because of the man who used her and then left her.By some misunderstandings Amwika thinks the guilty man is the rich heir Sakan Santiwas (played by Por Tridsadee) and wreaks her thirst of revenge upon him-doing everything in her power to destroy him.

Ah,i love the revenge trope. Its so dark, addictive and dramatic and only high-lights the main-leads chemistry.I am not surprised that Por and Pat were one of the greatest koo-jins during the middle 2000s because their on-screen chemistry was on fire every second.Sakan Santiwas have been misunderstood and abused his whole life by his foster-brother Sakon (played by Grate Warintorn) and his foster-mother who never let him forget that he is a unwanted child into the family. The only kindness he got is from his fosterfather,he has otherwise lived a very lonely life.As soon as Amwika came into his life it became turbulent and he couldn`t help but fall for this woman who threw her hate at him in every turn.He was no doormat and gave the trashing she deserved when she went too far,but mostly he chased after her like a love-sick fool sometimes...just letting her lash out her vengeance on him.He was alright with loving her despite all her insults. He was man enough to overcome her hate with his everlasting selfless love..and thats why i think Sakan such a worthy hero.Amwika drew her every breath with her revenge, her love for her sister pushed her for it.After all the chaos she did,i know she deep down knew that Sakan was not at fault or else she would never have been able to give her heart to him.

I had nothing to watch while checking out some Youtube videos and then saw this and decided to watch "Roy Adeed Hang Ruk" starring Bie Sukrit Wisedkaew and Mew Peerot Yaapin in which they acted for the first time.It is a very dramatic lakhorn with many over the top moments and has the tropes i usually like which is the hate-love relationship between the main-leads.There are many repetitive dialuges and much push and pull which made some scenes pretty hilarious when they were meant to be serious.Since Bie and Mew both were acting for the first time it was very hard to buy into the naturalism in their acting. They couldn`t act naturally and therefore a certain depth was missing in their characters (Bie did a much better job in his later 2007`s version of "Hua Jai Sila".Bie plays the rich business tycoon Tonnarm who loses his fiance early in the story and blames the female lead Meen for being the murderer (when it was only a car accident). At every turn he tries to make her suffer but in turn loses his heart to her for her gentle and tender beauty and patience.Eventually he can`t stay away from her and hurts both of them because of his rage of jealousy and the misunderstandings that keep them apart, there is also one obsessed gold-digger who wants to claim Tonnarm at every turn.I hope they will make a remake of this lakhorn someday!
