I liked this drama more than Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. I just wish I didn't have to watch it in 360p. At least Bpoop…
I agree, it would have been better if it had better resolution. I still liked Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat though more than this lakorn though. However, I liked this lakorn as well. Everyone has different tastes.

Title Parallel Love Spoiler
I decided to watch this drama randomly, watched it with no expectations at all and even expected to not like it. However, I loved it! :D

Yes, the story is nothing out of the ordinary, with the usual office romance and a bit of a fantasy where the female lead went back 10 years in the past.

We still do not know why she went back to the past. Anyway where fantasy is involved, we never know why, it just happens. In this drama, you can say that the leads where meant to meet, but missed each other at some point, and so the female lead from 2020 went back to 2010. And they got to help each other.

Anyway, I loved the main leads, they were cute and great together <3 I loved the songs, I loved the cast and characters (they all were meant for something), the acting was not bad and I loved the story.

I also loved seeing the old mobile phones before smart phones were introduced. Wow, never realised that in ten years, technology advanced that much. I remember that when I was about 14, I had an LG slide mobile phone, I really loved it. Yes, it cannot compare to today's smart phones, but I always remember it ^_^

For the ending, it was a shame, we barely saw Lin Miao and Jiao Yang in 2020. However, it's a happy ending, where they got to meet again :D

Definitely worth a watch. Definitely for those looking for a light drama, with no extra drama and fast watch :D

Btw, I loved all the other couples, it's a shame we barely saw about them as well, but at least the ships sailed :)

Title Tonhon Chonlatee Spoiler
Finished! I liked it. It wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.

Yes, it has its flaws, complicated stuff and many things that do not make sense. Also, I agree with all the comments people said, but it wasn't that bad. I have seen worse thai drama than this one.

To be fair, I haven't read the novel so if it is different than the drama, I do not blame people who talk against this drama. I am one of those people who get angry if I read a book and then the adaption of the book, turns out differently.

Also, I agree that I did not like the attempted rape scene, the forcing scenes, etc, but many thai dramas are like that. I don't know why, but for them it is normal to show these stuff on the media. To be fair, there are worst scenes than these. I wish they stop showing these scenes though. However, if you put them on one side, the story was not bad.

Things I did not like was Ai and Ni. Like they were together for 3 years and never attempted to tell Tonhon? They really did not believe in him at all.

At least I, as the viewer knew from the beginning that Tonhon would never go against them or stop being their friend, even if they told him they are gay and are in a relationship. Yes, ok Tonhon said against gay people, but anyone could tell that he was just repeating his fathers' words.

Also, another thing that made me mad. I do not know who said it, but either Ai or Ni, said that they hope someone changes his perception towards gay people or LBQT people in general. I'm like, what the heck? If you do not tell him yourself and hide it, how do you expect Tonhon to change his perspective? And these were supposed to be his friends.

Also, what the heck their kiss scenes? Like they were censored? Show a kiss scene or show nothing at all. I like them as a couple from the drama 2gether, but here they were disappointing, or they tried really hard to be comedians and failed really bad at it. I did not like them at all.

For the main couple, Tonhon and Chonlatee, I liked them. They are cute together ^_^ They were not bad as a couple. Ok, not the greatest ever, but their chemistry was not bad.

Also, among the young actors, their acting was the greatest. For the other young actors, I like them and their characters, but their acting skills definitely need to improve. And I am not judging them for the first time. Most of them, I have seen them in other dramas and they acted the same way.

Anyway, If you nick and pick at this drama, there are many flaws and I would never end writing about them. However, overall, I liked it and it has a happy ending. It deserves a higher rating. I give it 7/10.

Btw, I really loved the Untamed reference. Yes it was kind of idiotic and cliche, but it was super hilarious! xD

I loved these special episodes! <3 So hilarious, cute and made me smile ^_^

Also, we got to know about the characters more, even for a little bit :) Especially the real Queen aka So Yong.

Moreover, I did not expect a kiss scene, it made my heart flutter <3 I really loved the King and the Queen together <3 <3

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
I really loved it! xD

The story was awesome <3 It had serious moments, sad moments, comedy moments, hilarious moments, etc. It was full of roller coaster emotions. You can say that the whole vibe of the drama is light. Yes, it does get dark at times, but with perfectly timed comedy moments, it makes it light.

I also loved the music, the characters, the martial arts scenes or any other fighting scenes, the costumes and the acting.

I really loved the chemistry and romance between the King and the Queen. Their kiss scenes were great and awesome <3

I really loved the moments when Jang Bong Hwan who was in the Queen's body, said English words and the others are like, what the heck? It was really hilarious! xD It was also hilarious when he did things that were weird for that time period, like running about, etc, it was really hilarious! I loved it! xD He really helped the King.

I loved it, however, there is a flaw in this drama. I kind of tried to ignore it, but in the back of my mind, I constantly reminded myself that the Queen is actually Jang Bong Hwan, the chef from the present times.

And that the King fell in love with Jang Bong Hwan who was inside Kim So Yong aka the Queen's body, and not the real Kim So Yong.

I don't hate the ending though. It makes sense for Jang Bong Hwan to go back to his body after all, as his purpose seemed to help Kim So Yong and the King expose the corrupt ones from 200 years ago. Then, in return he became a better person and exposed the corrupt ones from his time. Also, his body was in a coma / alive, so I kind of assumed, he would eventually go back.

However, I am kind of disappointed. Yes, we get the perfect ending for the King and Queen, but there is something off and missing. Even the King himself felt something missing.

To be honest, we do not get to know the real Kim So Yong at all, and she just suddenly appeared in the last episode. She is a good person though.

But, I get why people would complain. It's like she waltzed back in her body and took the credit for all the hard work of Jang Bong Hwan.

I do not think the real Kim So Yong disappeared completely though. I think she was still in her body, but she chose not to came out at all and let Jang Bong Hwan take over.

This is because, when we realise that the real Kim So Yong is back in her body (we get to know as she visits the grave of Kim Byung In and cries again), her character is more toned down than Jang Bong Hwan and more formal. But, there were some things that Jang Bong Hwan did, that she also did. Therefore, she remembers Jang Bong Hwan memories, actions and things that happened.

I kind of wish that it turned out like the Thailand drama ''Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat (2018)'' for the romance part and the happy ending of the couple at least.

However, the point of this drama and made it really interesting and awesome to watch, was the fact a guy time travelled back to the past and occupied a woman's body. That made the story really refreshing to watch and why I waited for this drama to finish and marathon it.

It's still one of my newly favourite drama. I really loved it! And I definitely recommend anyone to watch it!

My wish came through and they made a second one! I really loved this one as well.

Kazama Kimichika is again really intelligent, observant, strict, intimidating and scary. However, he really strives to help his students and even potential instructors be their best selves. Yes, they make mistakes, but if they regret it and try to mend it, they are meant to be police officers. Also, those mistakes will help them be more responsible, sympathetic and help others.

Again, it was a shame it was short; however, it seems that there can be another season according to how it ended. We get to see what happened to Kazama Kimichika's eye. I was freaked out and Toba saw the murderer's face! Looking forward to the 3rd one!

To be honest, it was kind of weird. However, I unexpectedly liked it.

It was different, and it totally goes away from the usual tv drama love story relationships that we usually see. Yes, we all love and want romance like how the media portrays it and happy ever afters'. Or yes, we all want to have sex with a partner / lover / boyfriend who you love.

However, I feel like this drama is really realistic. Like the main character, I totally get her reasons. With being busy with work, busy with life, etc, when and where do we get to meet people or guys in this case? In this day and age, you meet new people by means of an app, a total truth in my opinion.

I cheered Chaiki on. Divorced? Getting older? Lonely? Why not hook up with guys through a dating app?

Ok, you cannot expect to do it forever. However, as the drama said, it is a life experience and she was brave to try it. I would be terrified to do so.

Yes, you can meet dangerous people or guys in this case, but it is a risk and a thrill at the same time.

What I did not expect was the death of her best friend. Like Chiaki, we totally do not know what happened to her and why she decided to die.

What I loved in this drama, is that we get to see the perspective of Chiaki fully and get to explore the sexuality of a woman as well.

This drama is definitely not everyone cup of tea. It totally goes away from the usual mind set of relationships that we got to know from our childhood and goes away from the happy ever afters that we know. You have to watch it with an open mind.

I never saw a drama like this, especially a Japanese drama at that. They are usually more conservative. Probably, that's why I liked it. It caught me off guard, it is short and a drama after all, so why take it seriously?

Yes, there are lots of stuff that are wrong in this drama, like the comments mentioned below, but I still think it is realistic. Anyway, I'll stop here.

Currently watching and finished ep 42..... (18/02/2021)

The story is nothing new or original but it's interesting and I really love it!

It is mostly political, with the constant hidden war or mostly struggles between the Chinese and the Japanese. There is also the Russians and British involved, but it's mostly between the Japanese and the Chinese.

It is also kind of slow, but I really got into the story and this is coming from someone who hates political stories. I also did not fast forward any episodes! I did take breaks while watching it though.

To be honest I decided to watch this drama, because it consisted a woman disguising as a guy, as I'm a sucker for these stories. Although it was not quite as I expected how the story will turn out, I loved it! ^_^

I love the friendships, teamwork, the hard work the students of the academy did to become the best soldiers ever, loyalty, patriotism towards their country even if it gets them killed, etc.

I especially loved seeing Xie Xiang working hard despite being a woman. I am in favour of women, but no matter how hard we try, there are times that we cannot beat the physical strength of men. However, I loved that she did not give up and is one of the best fighters ever! She can beat most men! :D

It was really impressive seeing her breaking into a Japanese territory to save her friend and also impressive that she saved herself when she got kidnapped. She did get saved by her AMA friends throughout the drama, but I loved seeing that she is capable of taking care of herself, and this is after all the hard work, pain and stuff she went through.

There is love triangles or love pentagons as there were many one side crushes, cute moments, dates / going out together, etc, but no kiss scenes!

Originally there was but they were censored uhh >_< I hate the censorship! At least I got to see the cut scenes on YouTube. I do not know how they got them, but I thank them for posting them.

Also, for the romance, the main male lead, Gu Yan Zhen has loved Xie Xiang for a long time and told her multiple times. The female lead, Xie Xiang finally realises that she loves him back! It really took her a long time! And she still hasn't told him yet.

She also needs to tell the Shen Jun Shan that she sees him as a brother and cannot reciprocate his feelings. For Huang Song, I think she managed to make him give up on her ''sister''.

I also loved the places, the costumes, the music, the action scenes, the props and cars, the gun shooting scenes (there were a lot!), the martial arts, etc.

Even the pronunciation of the Japanese language was very good. I'm no expert, but I have watched loads of Japanese dramas and I can recognise it.

My thoughts overall is that the story is smooth flowing, makes sense and one thing leads to the other. It is quite predictable at times, there is lots of revenge, loads of deaths, has serious and tense moments.

Moreover, it has the perfect timing of comic relief of the male lead and other comic moments, the friendship, the team work, the hard work, etc. I really love the story.

It is not mind blowing or original, but all this I mentioned came together and created a harmonious drama. Definitely worth a watch!

Last few episodes left!!

================================================================
EDIT: Finished!

A right ending.

I cannot say a good ending as they killed off Huang Song, Li Wen Zhong and Guo Shu Ting. They deserved much better!

Huang Song should have had found another love and build the house he wanted to build for his sister. Li Wen Zhong should also have had a happy ending with the florist. The most tragic death of all is that of Guo Shu Ting. He had finally married Huo Xiao Yu after she waited decades for him and he died before they got to spend time together, uhh >_<

At least Qu Man Ting finally accepted Shen Ting Bai love for her. The irony is that nearly at the end of the last episode of this drama, we see the first kiss scene.

For the main leads, I'm assuming they have gone off travelling or something, and we still did not see any kiss scenes. I think they were censored for the rest of the whole drama, uhh!! Anyway, I can be satisfied with the cut kiss scenes on youtube.

The death of Jin Xian Rong / Oda Hiroshi meant the end of the hidden war between the Chinese and the Japanese.

Not exactly a happy ending, as many died, however, you can say they will be peaceful times.Although, the AMA is full on training students to become soldiers, probably to prepare.

The end. Definitely worth a watch!

Title Mystic Pop-Up Bar Spoiler
SPOILERS: (9/12/2020)

Loved it! :D The story was quite predictable at times and I guessed a lot of stuff, but I really enjoyed it ^_^

I loved the story, characters and acting. I really loved the friendship, love and family feel between the 3 main characters who run the Pop-Up Bar.

I also really loved how the three of them helped solve the grudges for humans and for the spirits. At times, I cried, I was happy, sad, angry, etc. It made me feel lots of emotions.

Moreover, I loved how the story could be serious and turned comedy to the next, to give us comic relief or vice-versa, from comedy to serious. From the writing side, it was really good and planned well.

Furthermore, I especially loved the spirits theme, the mention of heaven and hell, the reincarnation, the afterlife, etc. It was really interesting and I love how each country, each writer and each story manages to give different interpretations and aspects of how the afterlife can be viewed.

I loved the modern feel to of the Afterlife as well. I also loved how according to how you lived your life, if you did wrong things, you can be reborn as an insect or an animal and if you did good, you will be blessed in your next life.

The hilarious moments I remember was the chicken part, especially when Chef Gwi communicated with chicken, that was really hilarious xD I also loved the part when there were firemen who died in their life of work and the Judges told them that in their next life, they will be Idols and they made reference to BTS.

I also loved the historical past of Wol Joo and Chef Gwi. Their story was really sad story and tragic and because of their sins they suffered for 500 years, but they got to meet again.

I knew from the beginning that Chef Gwi was the Crown Prince. They tried to put us off, they are telling us that Han Kang Bae could be the Crown Prince, but the overall feel I had of the trio, from the very beginning of the drama, was the father, mother and the son.

Also, Han Kang Bae and Kang Yeo Rin were falling in love with each other and were cute together, so Han Kang Bae wasn't the Crown Prince.

Conclusion: The drama wasn't perfect and the story was predictable, but I really enjoyed it! ^_^ Definitely worth a watch!!
