I agree - she cannot be this lazy, carefree person who really does not give a F about anything . And yes she wants it easy - that is how she probably lived her life in the real world but that will not cut it here . When Ruling went to SQ I knew things weee going to get bad. Between those two they will try to bring down SJ

I know everyone loved LTY’s character but SJ has been written well too. He is really not a bad guy. All that torture, abuse and pain that he has endured has made him the way he is . But even now he shows more of. a sense of justice, fairness and forgiveness when compared to those people from the 8 palaces . And that is truly admirable

Yes our FL is blindsided where Ruling is concerned and she is already controlling the snake who is too innocent . Our FL is really not made for the cut throat world the Sima Jiao is from. She will get a rude awakening for sure. Right now he is really protecting her - she does not even understand that aspect completely.
