My interpretation of the ending:
So he got amnesia, and as she promised she continued living. But one day they meet by coincidence, and he feels like he met here somewhere, he didn't completely forgot her. That's why he returned and wanted to ask her about it, something like: "Have we met before?" and she can't take it anymore and hugs him. And they live happily ever after :P
Hmm... when you say: "Something with great romance" I realized maybe that's why I didn't dislike the ending. I HATED the romance, not from Kang To but from Mok Dan. So, I didn't feel the love for the coulpe I usually feel and when the ending came I didn't feel anything about the tragedy, my reaction was: "Ah, so she did love him. Surprise, surprise"
Also, this one in particular had this "independence" air on it that I couldn't picture with a happy ending.
I just rewatched Padam, Padam! I understand you and I think the same.
Hmm... I'm going to start Ojakgyo Brothers, if you like to watch it (some people dislike long dramas, after watching 3 I'm used to them). If not, I'd recommend "Good Doctor". Joo Won's acting is as great as ever. AND it was the first drama that actually made me insecure about who was going to end with who. That was surprising xD

Oww that's sad :( I actually didn't mind it. Normally I do hate tragic endings, but I liked the ending there, like it was appropiate for the story.
Hey! What about "Love Marriage"? :O He was there too as a main role! I always remember it, because I watched it after Gaksital without knowing he was in there so it was like: "Are you following me or something?" xD
I LOVE Asian Drama to the point that I no longer watch regular TV or Movies BUT... one of the things that I put…
I just suffered this in "Ti amo Chocolate"... The bad exgf did so many psycho things, she should've been taken to a hospital, she needed mental help. Also, the main girl was so stupid she kept forgiving her and letting her do what she wanted!

Yes, I know Joo Won's acting can be really impressive, and you're right, he's going to have a great development as the series goes on(but he's not the only one, believe me).
Hmm... I'm still curious about what you're going to think of Mok Dan. I don't her romance with Kang To (because of her... I'll explain that later)and for me to have it as a favorite even when I didn't like the romance(and that's what I usually search for in dramas) makes Bridal Mask especial :3
Tell me when you reach episode 10 and you're more certain about your feelings please n_n It's always a pleasure having someone to talk with!

Hey! How are you doing with Bridal Mask? Wanna hear your toughts on it!
*Sigh* Currently watching episode 16... now I know what everyone was talking about. I'm only going to watch because I love the second couple, but probably just watch their scenes.
-Edit- Skipped until episode 21, and I'm glad I did, since the second couple does not get the attention I wished...

"Try to imagine a fairly masculine straight male in full-on schoolgirl mode." I'd pay to see that, really. It's so uncommon to find guys that are not afraid of saying they have this kind of reactions too.
My favorite scene is when he's screaming with his eyes full of heatread, and she hugs him and says: "how much have you been suffering?" or something like that, with her voice full of love and compation and sadness.
I'm dying to see your reaction to Mok Dan's (female lead) character... if what you say is true, I can't guess if you're going to love her, or hate her.
Don't worry, the emotional rides is not like that. I have yet to watch a drama with a better character development.

Haha! I fell for the trick too! xD I was honestly thinking: "Why did he tell me it was a happy ending? Why? A Romeo-Juliet ending is not happy!" That's the trick you're talking about right?
And I loved the fact that HE stopped looking for revenge and decided to leave a peaceful and normal life. Revenge only causes more revenge and heatred... love is better :) What I like about Park Shin Hye's character is that she stays with him no matter what, she saved him with her unconditional love.
I hope you enjoy Bridal Mask as much as I did... get ready for a rollercoaster of feelings!

FINISHED! I really liked it! :D But I kinda feel all the deaths were useless since the bad guy stayed as the king, and his only punishment was regret. I wanted him not dead, but in prision or something. After all he caused so many deaths and suffering, and regret is nothing.
Anyway, love the romance between both couples, and there were some memorable scenes, but in this kind of melodramas, no one can beat "The Bridal Mask" on my heart (even if I HATED the female lead there). That one really played with my heartstrings. Watch it please, and tell me what you think!

Oh my! The scene with her picking up the pieces of the ring as a symbolism of his heart, and when she hugged him while he was screaming... beautiful an touching! I love this actor, the way he shows the internal war (he loves her, but tries to hate her) of the character is great.

Ah, Missing You. I have a friend here that asked me to watch it because she loves it as much as you do. I liked it, but it didn't reach to my heart at the end (my favorite episodes were the first ones... those DID reach my heart and played with it.)

-Changes dramas to TPM (SPOILER)-
Waaa! The scene with him strangling her! What an intense moment! His eyes are so full of hatred!

I'll keep telling things about it as I go on :) I'm just glad I have someone to talk to about it. I love the main leads chemestry, the OST, and some of the females hairstyles (simply beautiful). And I'm liking the second pairing VERY much... I love how their characters are changing as the story goes on!

Yep, beacause the smartest thing to do after all the problems that a little lie made, is LIE AGAIN. Oh, this dramas... I'm waiting for a scene like this: "She didn't tell you who is she right? She's my daughter" "NOOOO!!! Why did you lie to me? Was it fun playing with me once again?" "I wasn't playing, I wanted to tell you" "Yes right. So your father could murder my father" *Cries and more cries* :P I'm honestly liking the drama, but I can't help myself xD I tend to do this evrytime I watch a melodrama...

Yes I know... and the story itself was flat and unnoriginal. So sad to think of all those dramas that deserve more attention...
Talking about stories The princess man has been on my Ptw list for a while but I Never feel in thr mood for an historical drama (they tend to have a lot of politics, characters names and positions I tend to forget and non happy endings) What do you say? Should I give it a try?

Oh my! So I'm not the only one who's not "head over heels" with "You're beautiful"? Awesome! I didn't HATE it, but I disliked it. When I started dramas,I had heard about YAB before, since everyone seemed so amazed by it and it had so many compliments. After a lot of time (like, really A LOT) I decided to give it a try. It was such a let down! There's nothing especial about it, it's so cliché and boring. Not even the characters made up for it.
