Someone got to that guy first, and the likely suspect is whoever ordered the hit. Instead of interrogating him…
Of course! I mean, he was likely dead by the culprit before the accident even occurred! But even though they’ll find out the Queen Mother’s father is responsible they’ll never be held accountable. Because royal family and tv land.
If this was real life, the investigation for the crown would have already taken that store footage and found that guy. Probably on the first night. I mean, they’d use NIS, CIA , MI5 etc. tactics, whatever the equivalent is in this alternate world SK. Definitely would not need her brother’s help 😂
Can someone tell me the episode where (see spoiler)
Where Duan Xu explains exactly who Fang Ji is? Or just tell me concisely ? I know the story enough but want to hear it again of how they became switched.
Yeah what is up with all the insanely evil Queen Consorts, Queen Mothers and Dowager Queens? Seems if it’s a historical drama involving the monarchy, we know who the evil culprits are.
Is Min Jeong U a royal or a commoner? I've seen comments claiming both. 2ML is of the "Min Political Family"…
So many complicated questions but the Mins and Yuns are Noble families where the Seong family is merchant class. This is generational, all owing to their respective clans. This aspect of who’s noble and who is not is projected through the alternate universe this drama is in, having us imagine what ifs we would face in a modern world. Ideas held over from Joseon times and even further back. Yes commoners could enter noble class such as either buying their way in (buying titles) or marriage. Even slaves back then if smart enough and hardworking enough could be elevated. At least there isn’t the ancient Silla Kingdom’s bone-rank system. Oh and the FL wouldn’t have been a qualified marriage candidate for the 2ML not the other way around.
FORGOT this is a Fri/Sat drama. Today is Sunday and I couldn’t wait for next ep to drop so I rewatched last ep (didn’t pay attention to ep number) but then THERE WAS NO NEXT EPISODE! 😭😭😭 I’m devastated.
I thought since this debuted on Disney I’d binge it when available to me elsewhere but then it dropped same time on Hulu (now Disney owned.) Regret my excitement and only have myself to blame that I now have to wait for new episodes.
I have a massive problem with this drama and its representation of amnesia. First of all, let’s get this straight,…
Totally his character playing the system in order to stay at the hospital. He did have some real retrograde amnesia but played it up also because he wanted to stay with Fei Ni who he had liked since childhood.
Yeah too bad about ignorant attitudes back then but even the 1970’s in China was 20-30 years behind the world. Some ignorance lingers everywhere (meaning worldwide) even today. This drama is definitely worthwhile to watch so give it another go.
I just have to say, the main leads in Love Beyond the Grave were absolutely amazing! Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen…
I’ve somehow ended up watching 3 of his dramas at the same time. I had once started when Destiny Brings the Demon but put it on hold. I had waited for all episodes of Love Story in the 1970’s to drop before starting. After Love Beyond the Grave captured me I restarted those haha.

This is interesting. As adopted son maybe?
